Trying to find good Indian around Indy has proven challenging. So I will start by saying that our food was 4/5 stars. It was very good, tasted fresh, and came in large portions. They are located right off of I 465 and the first turn at the first light. The restaurant is located in this huge strip mall space. There is a huge parking lot in front of the restaurant. They are spacious inside the restaurant and you need to wait to be seated. Food was delicious and warm. Their inside decor and ambiance are good too. They have a lot of food options and a great amount of vegetarian options. They do have some vegan options as well. Their customer service is good. While the food travels well, there's nothing better than their veggie samosas fresh out of the fryer--so good that I forgot to grab a photo of them! Portions are huge and filling. Very unfortunately, the main reason for wanting to try this particular restaurant (the beautiful buffet I've only seen in pictures) is still not offered since COVID shut it down. The Western desserts they make courtesy of being in a former Paradise Bakery were the best thing by far...sad. The dishes come 15-20 minutes apart, so one person can be already done, and the others haven't had anything yet. So I suggest doing family style where everyone shares. My friend and I were looking to treat our selves to some Indiana take out after a long day of work. There have been a few new Indian places in the Castleton area so based upon reviews we decided to try this place out. The location is great at the end of a strip mall behind Castleton Square Mall. The inside is spacious with an open construction ceiling, light floors and walls, accented with bright green and walnut wood tones. When we arrived there were several people waiting at the front and no employees around. After about six minutes someone came up front and started helping. We waited around 15 minutes before they employee got off the phone and was ready to take our order for take out. We placed our order and were told it would be about 20 minutes before it would be ready. We went for a walk and came back on time. We stood waiting for another ten minutes and were offered a bottled water, and were offered to have a seat in a booth to wait, which happened to be dirty so we declined. While we were waiting we looked around the space and saw many, many, tables covered in dirty dishes. There was a busing cart left standing in the middle of the dining room, as well as a large trash can on wheels on the other side of the room. We finally got our food and were on our way home. After we arrived home we realized that one item we ordered wasn't with our order so we called and they refunded the cost of the item. Anytime we have Indian we always get saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. We tried our items and they were good, but not great. The flavors weren't as well developed or balanced as other restaurants that we have tried. The location is great, and its nice to have a new Indian restaurant with a buffet in a modern space in the Castleton area. I am hoping it was just an off night for this location and with some cleaning, adequate staffing, it can be even better! read more

This place is slowly becoming my favorite biryani spot in Indianapolis area. We went there on a busy Tuesday and it was busy. Despite the fact, we were seated without having to wait for a long time. We got Masala Dosa and Vijayawada Biryani. The dosa was exactly what I wanted - crispy on the outside with flavorful potatoes on the inside. So good! I recommend trying it if you're here trying anything other than their famous biryanis. We also got the Gongura chicken and Vijayavada chicken biryani. The chicken was so soft and tender and perfectly cooked and the gongura gravy was just perfect. We had asked for it to be spicy and they nailed it! Highly recommend this item as well. My family and I have been coming here for 5+ years. This is the most authentic Indian food you can get in Indiana. It's always packed, there's tons of parking and everything on the menu is SO good. From what I gather they especially in south central Indian food with a focus on biryani, which is what I would recommend. I had the Gobi Manchurian, a deep fried cauliflower dish tossed in a hot spicy sauce. The batter was crunchy and the sauce savory. It approximated meat pretty closely! With the only giveaway being the notable but not unwelcomed cauliflower after taste. Additionally, I tried the goat biryani, which was seasoned aggressively and actually had a good portion of meat to rice ratio. I do wish they had used a slightly fattier cut of meat as some of the goat was slightly overcooked and dry. Expect to spend about $15-$20 per person! read more

Very clean establishment. Good music though just a little loud. My husband and I were promptly greeted and seated when we arrived. Our server talked a little fast but then took the time to explain menu items when we asked. I love that there was bottled water on the table when we were seated.
