The staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to order. They have parking lot to park and wait on your food. It took about 10-13 minutes. At the food truck at PorchFest in Carmel. The food is amazing. There was a limited menu for the event. This was fine. We had the small meal beef and the small meal pork. Wow! The grilled vegetables were really good. On the downside: they forgot one of our meals and after a good bit of time I had to ask. They were super gracious and quick to fix. I plan to visit the truck under less hectic circumstances so I can try more dishes. read more

I drive by this food truck literally multiple times each day as my office is nearby. I keep intending to try it and have not made the time....until now. I ordered carry out via the website (which was a great experience by the way) and omg it was absolutely delicious! I am half Assyrian, so I've enjoyed a lot of Middle Eastern food throughout my life. Davani Armenian BBQ is the real deal! Everything tasted as authentic as if a relative or family friend prepared and grilled it from scratch. The beef lulu kabob wrap was incredible...the meat was moist and flavorful, the lavosh wrap was still warm from the grill, and the owner (who was so friendly and kind) was able to provide me the sauce, cilantro & onion, and tomato toppings on the side as I requested. All of it was **so good**! I also ordered the hummus & pita --both of which were quite tasty as well. I highly recommend this food truck to everyone who appreciates authentic, freshly prepared food! Truly excellent. I hadn't had Armenian bbq before trying DavAni but I've had a lot of Russian shashlik and Iranian kebabs before moving to Indiana. The style is similar and it's the only food of this sort in the state as far as I can tell. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I was excited to find that the Indianapolis area finally had a place that served Armenian food, and DavAni did not disappoint. Meat is grilled while you wait and can be served in a wrap or plated. Just finished a delightful lunch from DavAni Armenian barbecue! I got the grilled chicken-thigh wrap and the hubby got the grilled lamb kebab wrap. Each one came with a charcoal-grilled Roma tomato and a whole grilled jalapeño. Careful--that jalapeño is hot! Also ordered the grilled potato, which we shared, and it was a great accompaniment. Would recommend this food truck highly. It was clean, and service was friendly. Food was cooked to order. Also saw a skewer of chicken wings being cooked for someone else, and those looked so delicious as well. I might try those next time around! read more

Very delicious! Had the chicken and pork khorovats. Very tender and flavorful. Lavash was fresh and perfectly soft. Tolma and pilaf tasted like my metsmayrik's home cooking.
