The atmosphere and dining space is larger and much nicer at this location. Patio seating is also available. Both the service and food were good.

I love diners and this place was perfect. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. The waitstaff were also very friendly. I've sat in the restaurant and ordered to go. The food is delicious too

Not just greeted with warm smiles, but hot coffee and swift service with accuracy! Bright clean and refreshing atmosphere that is family friendly too! The food is not just nut delicious, but beautifully plated and presented... I'm full just eating with my eyes. GOOD and PLENTY too. Only suggestion would be that there needs to be more cheese in the omelette.

I was not feeling well and wanted a healthy breakfast so I looked on Uber Eats and found Lincoln Square Pancake House. They had an old fashioned oatmeal and fresh fruit bowl, so I decided to go with that for breakfast. It was good for oatmeal, and the fresh fruit bowl was very fresh and tasted amazing. I ordered through Uber Eats because I was not feeling well, so I did not make it to the actual restaurant. I have seen the restaurant before and looked through the window, so I could tell that it definitely has the feel of a pancake house, with the wood paneling on the walls and the tables with wooden countertops and old fashioned booths. It does appear to have a nice, old fashioned ambiance. I cannot speak to the service since I was not at the restaurant, but from what friends have told me, the service is hit or miss. Some of my friends have said the service is very slow, and others have said the service is wonderful. I will have to visit the restaurant myself in person sometime soon to get the full dining experience. For now, based on the food , it was decent and good, and I enjoyed it very much. Once I visit the restaurant in person and get the full dining experience at Lincoln Square Pancake House, I will be able to provide a better review.

Came back again with my sister for breakfast and it was delicious! Our server Tyler was great and the food and cleanliness was on par like always! This is my go to breakfast place if I want simple and good food!

Definitely a diner feel and busy but we were seated quickly. The service was quick and friendly. There were lots of food options on the menu. You definitely got the feel that there were lots of regulars. The food was good and quick.

Craving a quick breakfast, I called Lincoln Square on Ditch Rd., and my food was ready in 10 minutes. The staff was friendly, answering all my questions, and the service was just as good when I picked it up. It was packed when I arrived, with a steady stream of customers. I ordered the Lincoln Skillet with pancakes and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The over-easy eggs, crispy hash browns, bacon, and tasty gravy were all spot on. The pancake, nearly as big as the container, was a nice choice, and the orange juice was delicious. I'll definitely be back to dine in soon--this spot is now in my breakfast rotation.

Bubble waffle, strawberries, fruit, ice cream, and whipped cream. Your choice of drizzle...caramel or chocolate.

Tried a brand new dish called Bubble Waffle: thin Waffle that actually has bubbles instead of pockets, topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and ice cream. Also, you get a choice for toppings: Caramel drizzle or Chocolate drizzle. Tip: it's great if you smear all the ice cream and whipped cream over the top of the waffle. That way you the great taste in every bite! And the edges are crunchy This is my Favorite Breakfast/Lunch restaurant! I love the 'family' vibes Staff is the best

Lincoln Square Pancake House is a staple for breakfast in Indianapolis. I'm glad to see more locations opening up around the city. I love their breakfast, they have the staples as well as unique offerings on a classic breakfast. The menu is huge, and everyone should be able to find something they like. I love the banana bread French toast with the eggs, bacon and sausage!! The banana bread is cut thick and served with all the right toppings. It pairs perfectly with black coffee, served in their classic mug. Our service was quick and it was busy as usual. You can't beat the service, quality of food and pricing!

This was a great meal for us: breakfast for my BF and lunch for me. The chicken wrap was so tasty but fell apart because it didn't have enough filling. Great flavors though! My BF loves the breakfast and we will be going back again soon!

This is my first time ever going to this place. There was ample parking, and as we walked in, there is an open waiting area. To the right of the hostess stand is where you pay and place to go orders. We were seated right away when we walked in. I order pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns, and coffee. They give you 3 large pancakes that are to die for, and the bacon was crispy. The hashbrown were so so and tasted a bit like vinegar. Our server was excellent and provided phenomenal service.

Good spot for breakfast. Friendly server today and she did a great job. We both got the exact same meal. Meat Lovers Omelette without onions or peppers. Both good. Very fluffy and full of meat and cheese. Hashbrowns were ok but could have been crispier. No one seems to get that right when we say crispy. The French toast option for bread is great it is so good. Served with cinnamon butter and warm syrup. Since changing over from Lincoln Square this location seems to be cleaner and always busy.

French Toast. Bread is from Scholars Bakehouse.

Oakley has received accolades from Bon Appetite, James Beard, USA Today, as well as local awards. We stopped for lunch last week. Oakley was visible, working in the kitchen. The dining room has been remodeled since our last visit. Hues of green cover the traditional style walls. Autographed copies of famous cookbooks sit above booths. The place is romantic. The lunch menu is complex, yet affordable. A wine list features specials starting at $20/bottle. We start with a Shrimp Corn Dog. The "seafood dog" was made famous by Chef Oakley when he beat Bobby Flay with this innovative concoction. The variation of the seafood dog is artfully presented, drizzled with honey and fresh herbs. It is delicious. I ordered the Shrimp Risotto. I loved the spicy sauce on the rice. The mix was filled with bits of squash and onion. The shrimp were tender and flavorful. My husband was blown away by the Wild Boar Koran-Style Sloppy Joes with awesome house made chips and slaw. We had impeccable service from Nate. He was attentive, friendly and made recommendations. They bring a bottle of cold water to the table, so you can serve yourself. Nate stands behind every dish on the menu. Oakley's is truly a 5 star experience, perfect for date night. I will say that I've eaten here at least 3 times before and it's always been top notch. I will be back again. But I did not think it was spectacular last night. My table started by ordering several appetizers and salads. I split the beet salad with my friend. That was a mistake. This is hands down the best beet salad I've ever had. It is delicious. My friend doesn't like beets and loved the salad. It's not very big. I don't recommend splitting it. I'm not a fan of the shrimp corn dog but everyone else loved them. A friend ordered them for the table. Someone ordered the prime rib dumplings and said they were ok. They looked good but I didn't try one. They really enjoyed the bacon wrapped apricots. Another person liked the pesto goat cheese Mac n cheese. The deviled eggs were wasabi this time. The preparation is always different. The table didn't love this preparation as much as others in the past. I thought they were good. I had the Stanley meatloaf. I'm not a fan of the very large broccoli they plate. The meatloaf was very dense. I won't order it again. But I will note that it typically gets rave reviews. It's just not for me. My friend who got the beef short ribs wasn't excited about them. I had those last visit and they were excellent. I was hearing a lot of "ok" when people were asked how their entrees were. But everyone cleaned their plates, except me. I barely ate my meal and the server did ask if there was anything wrong. There wasn't anything wrong with the meal. I just didn't care for it. I boxed it up and brought it home. I will say that everyone really enjoyed the cocktails, appetizers and salads. Our entrees were fine but no one raved about theirs. We always eat at fine dining establishments when we go out. We loved Freeland's see my review for them. So we had high expectations here and left having had a good time together but the food kind of missed the mark. My bill came to $104 for two cocktails, a beet salad and meatloaf, incl 25% tip. I think when I go back I'll definitely get the beet salad again and stick to appetizers rather than an entree. My friends also ordered several desserts. They really liked all of them. The service was very good and the waitress handled our large party very well. It took a long time to get the food. There was a lot of time between our appetizers and the entrees. I think the kitchen was slammed. We were there for 3 hours. There is a 20% tip for tables of our size, but it was not automatically charged. There is no question Oakleys is a great place for fine dining. I recommend going there. It just didn't excite me last night.

It was a very, very, small piece of salmon. I don't know if that is the usual size or not but definitely not what we expected for the price. The only thing I have tried here that I didn't care for was the Mother Earth Bowl. When I ordered it the employee mentioned that it was their most popular item, but I thought the greens were very bitter and the dressing didn't complement the vegetables. But apparently everyone else loves it. The parking lot was congested each time I have been here. Traffic flow is difficult so next time I will park farther away and walk rather than navigate the small lot in front of the restaurant.

I always order the Cuban when a new restaurant has one on the menu, and Big Lug's did not disappoint. It was juicy, flavorful, and one of the better Cubans I've had in a while. On my second visit, I went with the blackened cod tacos on corn tortillas (you can also get flour tortillas, and they offer shrimp and breaded fish options). They were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Both visits I ordered the spicy garlic cauliflower, and it was outstanding. The homemade blue cheese dressing took it to another level. If you're on the fence about ordering it, don't be--it was one of my favorite things on the menu. The outdoor walk-up bar creates a really cool, laid-back atmosphere, making it a great place to relax whether you're meeting friends or just enjoying a meal by yourself. We sat right in the middle of the main thoroughfare and were completely ignored for at least 15 minutes before we finally flagged someone down. The guy, "H," apologized and said, "Oh, my bad--it's all good." We figured, no big deal, let's move on. We ordered pretty simple food, apps and were then going to put in some entrees once apps arrived. We asked for waters and a water bowl for our pups. He brought two waters--with no straws--and no dog bowl. We assumed he was going to grab the bowl, so we waited... and waited. Then I noticed him at the end of the bar leaning against some boxes, texting. So I finally got up, interrupted him and asked for the dog bowl. His response, "oh my bad." Our appetizers came out, and naturally, we asked for silverware. A few minutes later, I spotted "H" in the corner on his phone again. At that point I was thinking, seriously?! So I got up again, interrupted "H's" text convo and asked for silverware. His response again was, "Oh, my bad." I didn't respond to him I just turned around and went back to my seat. Honestly, the whole experience started feeling more like a self-serve restaurant than table service. It's a chill spot and we weren't being needy whatsoever. We never asked for any refills- we were merely asking for the basics. We wanted to order more food, but by that point we were pretty turned off and decided to just get the check. Then came the final straw: my guy had his license and credit card sitting on the table because he hadn't brought his wallet out for our monon trek. When "H" came back with the checkout thing, without question or hesitation - he grabbed the card and swiped it. We didn't even realize what happened until afterward. Maybe that's standard there, but I've never had a server just take my card without asking. Usually you get a "hey do we want to use this card? Or something to confirm. And of course the tip structure is skewed so the min is 20% unless you want to try to figure out to manually enter in 15% (which most ppl don't -incl my guy), so we left 20% and left irritated and still hungry. "H" didn't seem hungover or anything--he just genuinely seemed like he did not not give a shiiiit. We had to get up three separate times to get things we had already requested: the dog bowl, a couple straws, and silverware. (Basics) And a quick note on the 7-Layer Hoss Dip: don't expect seven layers. It comes in a small thick ceramic bowl and was basically beans, guacamole, a tiny bit of corn and some hard cheese on top. Definitely would not recommend it. Way too "beany" and not worth $16 at all. The southwest rolls were decent- very fried tho. Cheesecake Factory's are better ;) The location and dog-friendly atmosphere are great, with the exception of the homeless camp right at their patio entrance, but unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. Hopefully this was just an off night, because Big Lug has a lot going for it.

When we arrived, the place was empty. We weren't even sure that they were open until we saw the kitchen staff behind the line. Upon entering, I saw a kiosk where you can place your order, but a woman emerged from the back to take our orders. Being that we weren't familiar with the menu, I told her that the kiosk might be easier. She insisted that it wasn't, and as I went on, I realized the same. The kiosk states that there is a $1.25 charge for the sauce on the side, but she explained that it comes with one sauce free of charge and additional sauces cost extra. We placed our order with her: A small Italian salad to share, the Fatty B calzone with the spicy marinara sauce and the Hot Mother Clucker calzone with the chipotle garlic ranch. We ordered them with the suggested sauces but also order the regular marinara and the garlic sauces on the side. We were given glasses for water (self-serve from the soda fountain) and also ordered a bottled beer and canned cider. By the time we were done ordering, a line had formed. The store was understaffed, which was explained to us later, so we had to exercise patience. We didn't receive our beverages until after the calzones were delivered. Before that, we received our rather large, small salad. It was more than enough for two people. The woman had explained to us that it comes with 4 cups of lettuce plus the toppings. That information helped us make our decision to share. The space is large and we noticed cornhole boards to be used on the patio. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went, otherwise we would have played. The calzones were good and filling. Neither of us finished ours and had food to enjoy at home later that evening. The Hot Mother Clucker isn't very pizza-esque, but dipping it into marinara sort of brought it back into the fold. The suggested chipotle garlic ranch was a better pairing indeed. The salad bowl/plate is oddly shaped, which caused toppings to being spilling off the sides. When it was brought to our table, the woman tried saving the toppings by wedging them between the order slip and her fingers and dumping them back onto our plate. I stopped her. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I don't want to eat food that a stranger's hands have touched. I explained this to her. She tried to assure us that she washes her hands constantly throughout the day, but she'd just come over from the register without a handwashing break. Just let the toppings fall where they may! Let's keep it hygienic.

The chips had limited, if no salt. We enjoyed both. We visited on a Monday when the daily special was fajitas. You can get lunch fajitas for $8.99 or dinner fajitas for $12.99. We went at dinner time. My wife and I both ordered the chicken fajitas. When the meal arrived, we only received one order. We asked for the second order and it was promptly delivered. The fajitas were good. We ordered them without green bell peppers and both orders were correct. The onions were nicely caramelized but we wished the chicken had a bit more seasoning. We will definitely return again on a Monday and get the fajita special. The atmosphere was definitely a Mexican restaurant, however, not as "in your face" as other restaurants. Our server was friendly, and our bill was correct. We will return again. Feel free to give them a try!

We stumbled upon Ranchera, seeing signs offering amazing Monday-Saturday lunch deals. TV monitors were running a mix of soaps and sports. Decor is traditional Mexican with signs on the wall advertising drink specials. We were the only guests for a late Friday lunch. Our server, Papaya, was very attentive and friendly. He checked on us multiple times and kept our waters full. Complementary chips and a thick salsa came out quickly. I had special #1 which included a poblano, taco, beans and a guac salad. The food came out on two plates. The poblano was huge, hot, filled with melted cheese, battered on the outside. I could not eat it all. The beef hard-shell taco was packed generously with fresh cheese, beef and lettuce. The guac salad was refreshing and good. This was a good refreshing lunch with generous portions and a great value. My husband had Lunch # 7 which included a burrito, enchilada and tamale. I would get this meal next time. The enchilada was covered with fabulous mole sauce. The tamale was delicious. Everything about this lunch rocked. They have a full bar and signature cocktails. There was also a kid's menu. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall. I'll be back, next time with a margarita.
