Great service. We had two new sets of skis tested and prepped. Very happy with the results! The service technicians I spoke with know what they are doing. Always speak with the technician setting up your gear. (Like knowing who is packing your parachute) I visited with the other shops and this was the only one I felt comfortable leaving my skis and boot with and knowing that they would be properly setup and perform when I put them on. read more

Disclaimer: I did not buy anything here BUT, I came in looking for advice on bindings. The two gentleman working there were so helpful and very, very nice. I've been skiing for three years now and still have a lot of questions. It's really intimidating sometimes to ask long time skiers and snowboarders simple questions and these guys were really down to earth and knowledgeable. I did a season lease from them and couldn't be happier. The instructor for my ski lesson on the mountain recommended Riley at their location as one of the best boot fitters in the Southwest if you wanna buy boots too. They didn't have the normal boots in my size anymore, so they hooked me up with some nicer boots at no extra charge, and have let me swap out and try different skis free of charge. All of the gear is very high quality -- the boots they've given me have been the most comfortable I've ever rented and the skis are great. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more

This place deserves more reviews! I'm honestly shocked that there are so few, but maybe people are trying to keep it a secret. I came here twice over winter to get my new ski boots fitted (they are one of the only places in the state that is nationally accredited for this)! I also got a demo rental just because I was looking for some new skis. They have everything you would ever need to feel comfortable on the slopes. Simply excellent. Having recently moved to Flag, I really wanted to get more into downhill skiing and find "my skis". These guys were excellent, patient, and really helpful as I demoed about a half dozen different set of skis. Every time I walked through the door, they all knew me and were aware of where I was in my process. Each one of them, but especially Eli, had a passion and engagement with me that I have never experienced before. When I finally landed on the pair that I wanted to buy, they offered a deal on a package that was unbeatable. I have since been in the shop on a few occasions, once to get my boots adjusted, another to buy ski wax, and another to remedy a broken pole, and they seem to be as loyal to me as I am to them by offering help, discounts, remedies, and advice. I'd recommend Humphrey's to anybody, young or old, bunny hills to back country adventurers. There is no doubt that this is my favorite ski shop in Flag. I will stop in just to see what they have from time to time even if I don't need anything. The guys are always super friendly and always very knowledgeable about the gear. Will never try to sell you something you don't need. Local guys that you will see in town and out on the mountain are the ones that run/own the shop. Not a huge shop, so they carry only the gear that you really want. Nice selection of brands that the other shops in town do not carry. They have the stuff you have all heard of as well. read more

I've been looking all over for a pair of ski boots that fit me (I have big calves)....I can't remember the technician's name that helped me, but they tracked down and ordered a pair of boots that they thought would work, and I'm very pleased. Best ski shop in town! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. None of the "too-cool to help the customer" attitude that I've found in other outdoor stores. And don't let the small size fool you - It's packed with everything you need for skiing. Prices are competitive with REI and other outdoor stores, and if you want something special or they're out of stock, they'll special order. Street parking is easy in this part of downtown. In the summer, the shop converts to rafting/camping gear. read more

Spent 4-5 hrs with JP and the crew fitting some boots. The whole crew is fantastic and like I mention, no BS kind of place. I have been to the other place on Humphrey's, don't waste your time. They just sell stuff and tell you what you want to hear. They are not as knowledgeable. I have spent a fortune here but I am glad I did here than any other place. BTW, I did spend a lot of money but that does not reflect high prices here either. Good pricing as well. read more

I love Humphrey's for my ski rentals! I don't own my own personal gear because I spend all my money on mountain bike gear; however, every time I go to this shop...they are amazing. Great service.
