The crab Rangoon were the best I've tasted. the udon noodles is in my top 5, noodles were the perfect consistency (my favorite part) . Overall my taste buds were satisfied

While they may be a little overly professional and slightly lacking in table-side-manner, their food is first rate. My friend had Curry chicken, while I had Ginger chicken. Both were quite delicious and used fresh ingredients, prepared to order. The veggies were crisp. And unlike some places I could actually taste the ginger in my dish. It wasn't overly greasy either. My friend also enjoyed his Curry chicken, saying all the food was definitely in his top two list of 100's of Chinese restaurants he'd been to. (His favorite food, not mine). Since this place is a bit out of the way, I'd have to borrow from the Phantom Gourmet and pronounce this place to be a hidden-gem. They may not give you fried noodles to dip at the beginning of your meal, nor pineapple chunks at the end. But if you are in the neighborhood and like Chinese food, you owe it to yourself to stop in here.

Terrible food and the service is worse... very rude. Do not go here unless you like frozen chicken.

Pretty awful, stay away. They don't know what they're doing. On the nasty side. Heavy on salt.

Overall very delicious food…read more Their veggie special rolls with sweet potato were very delicious. The Japanese curry with rice and tofu was flavorful too. Would have liked for it to be spicier. The sundubu jjigae was alright - not too memorable. Quick service and the staff was great about accommodations and dietary restrictions. Lovely ambience. Parking may be a little hard to spot but they have a tiny lot with common parking for all the businesses there. Restrooms separate for men and women. Shared with other businesses but maintained well.

Nearly everything that's been ordered from myself or someone else I've gone with has been yummy. My eight year old absolutely loved the beef hibachi and if it were up to her, she'd eat it every night. If recalling correctly, the only food item I've ever not been thrilled about was their tteokbokki. Normally they have a little kick to them and Kansai's was very sweet. Still enjoyed the dish but I do wish it wasn't as sweet. Usually when we walk in they have us choose whatever table we would like to sit at which is also a plus. Especially when my daughter is in tow because sometimes her childhood whimsy gets a little loud. When I come back to town to visit family, this place is usually our go-to and I'm not upset about it! The one thing I would knock a star for is that I do think its a little overpriced compared to other restaurants such as these. **Please correct me if I am wrong but I also believe the owner of Kansai owns Kisara in Easthampton which is also very yummy!**

The dining area is still very sparse in design and coverage. The wait staff were still apathetic, and the wait times for things is still a little long. The Korean fried chicken was very tasty, sweet and salty Korean bbq sauce on perfectly fried wings was delightful. We opted for the pho, and that was very good. The broth was rich and flavorful, no need to season it was perfect already. The brisket was tender and still had a strong brisket flavor. There was a good amount of meat to the bowl and the noodles were fresh. The noodles did clump a bit, but they easily separated when agitated. All of the sushi was not as successful. The rolls lacked any significant flavor and missed some basic elements of sushi preparation. The rice was not seasoned, was not sticky, and the fish was roughly cut. The spicy rolls lacked spice and the crunchy rolls lacked crunch. It was presented well, just didn't show the level of care the front of the menu had. We informed our server of the sushi problems and she apologized but still charged us for all the sushi. Making an otherwise great experience not so great. I would recommend those who come here to focus on the front of the menu exclusively. Those dishes are stellar and are well worth the asking price. The sushi menu on the back is basic in flavor, pricy, and only worth having if you really need sushi. It does limit their menu significantly, but the quality difference is drastic.
