I would never never give this particular local company a 1 if it had not been for the poor delivery service that was given to me today. I've even stood up for the poor reviews others have had about this local company and have witnessed this place open and supported it through its hard times as well but I'll no longer continue to do so. IAN I. (All I asked for when I expressed my complaint) was surely the reason this company is not getting the service this local restaurant deserves. He was abrasive to start off with because I didn't answer the door when he approached it. Clearly I'm more than sure he heard my child screaming and crying and if I had to choose to between my child or some food, we all know what's the answer would be. I expressed remorse to him about not answering right away and he immediately rolled his eyes and said "just sign this" referring to my receipt. Initially I wanted to over tip for his inconvenience but his attitude was so aggressive I couldn't even do that one I expressed again my apology he immediately snatched the booklet out of my hand and before I could grab my bag he had dropped it on the floor. When I expressed to the lady on the phone she wasn't aware and very apologetic however behavior as such is simply not one for customer service. LOVE this place! Best Chinese food in the area. Typically has excellent service, quick delivery. Tonight I'm not sure what was going on. I placed an order for a family dinner and the girl on the phone told me it would be 30min-1hr for it to be delivered to my house. After an hour passed, I called for a check in on my order and they said it will be another 20 minutes because it was still in the kitchen?! HOW?!?! It does NOT take that long to cook! I didn't even have a complicated order! I am BEYOND annoyed that it's taking so far an hour and a half for my food and I am still waiting!!! UPDATE: they delivered the food to the wrong address, an address that is on my account with them BUT I had told the girl to deliver the food to a different address and repeated it 3 times to make sure she understood. I know the people at the address it was delivered to and they told the driver the correct address to take it to AGAIN. The food arrives and at this point we're furious. Do not want to pay for the food anymore so I tell the driver "I am not signing for this I am not paying." I take the bag of food inside and the food is spilled everywhere!!! The manager lady at the restaurant then calls me and tells me I NEED to sign the receipt. I said "no the food is spilled all over the bag and it took you guys 2 hours to get to me!" She then wanted me to run outside and show the driver that it was spilled and give it back to him and she said she'd make me a new meal. I said "no I do not have the patience to wait another 2 hours to have dinner. It's 9 pm already". She had a very bad attitude and obviously does not know how to deal with upset customers. Saying "what?! Do you want me to give you a discount or something?!" I said "that would be nice" then she says "well I can't!!!" And hangs up on me. NEXT DAY: THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AFTER I SAID I AM NOT PAYING FOR FOOD THAT TOOK 2 HOURS TO BE DELIVERED AND THATS SPILLED ALL OVER THE BAG!!! The food is usually very good, but a little pricey. The last time we ordered dinner take-out, a few nights ago, the portions were half the usual amount. It was the same amount a few weeks before, at dinner time. I expect the amount to be less at lunch time, but even then, the portions have gotten very small and not worth the price, especially if you don't get full, like we used to. We stopped patronizing them many years ago when I saw a woman worker carry the plunger from the kitchen to the bathroom--UNSANITARY! A couple of weeks ago, we ordered delivery from them. The food was "okay" but needed improvement. About 3 days ago, we got delivery again. This time, we tried to correct some of the issues we had with the previous order. We did not expect an additional charge and were not told there would be one. The additional charges were small but very annoying since we were trying to correct problems with their food preparation. I told the lady taking the order that we wanted more sauce because the previous orders were too dry. The bill had an additional charge for both orders. My wife ordered brown sauce because the sauce on the previous order was not good. Again, the bill had an additional charge added. My issues are: (1) we were trying to make their food acceptable to us and (2) we were not told there would be an added charge. We won't use them again. read more

I miss this restaurant now that I live in the heights area and I have not found a single chinese place that comes close to it around the heights or montrose area. Called for carry out, the lettuce wraps and special stirred fried rice. The lettuce portions have gotten very small from when they opened. They are good but very over priced. The fried rice portion was a laugh for the price. I called to comment about the value of the food and the staff remarked 'ok', there was no concerned at all. There are other choice in cypress that offer equal quality but better value. Now if you a one that just has to spend money this place will take it. We ordered take out from here yesterday for the first time and it was great. The woman that answered was helpful and friendly. Our food was ready in about ten minutes. Pricing very reasonable, especially for what all you get. I had their lunch portion orange chicken and loved it. It wasn't too spicy, they used all white meat chicken and the portion size was more than enough and the sides it came with were equally delicious and fresh. Delicious and fresh made food right when you order it! I think this place had the best tasting Fried rice I have ever tasted!! It has so much flavor. I like that they give you a free, crunchy, appetizer in the beginning while you are waiting for your food. It took an hour and 20 minutes to get 2 entrees and 2 spring rolls and they forgot the sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. Why would you insist on telling a customer they are wrong and that "you should have asked what it was" after the customer acknowledged they ordered the wrong thing and were willing to pay for the replacement? After insisting on paying for the replacement, they exchanged it at no charge but was told "So let's make sure that this doesn't happen again next time.
