Just okay and items from menu weren't accurate to descriptions or pictures. Too salty.

Get the lemon chicken. Found this place accidentally a few years ago and has been our go to for Chinese take out.

They have great food and you get large portions. Good enough to have for a second day. Would recommend the wonton soup. Very flavorful.

Worst I've ever had. I gave them a second chance after getting sick from this food. Worst idea ever... Stay away!

Delivery was on time and food arrived warm. We decided to try the General Tso's Chicken/ w brown rice, which was pretty good. It was sweet and spicy. The chicken was good, moist and flavorful. 8/10 We also got the Hawaiian Chicken. It wasn't what I was expecting. It was fried chicken breast sitting on a bed of lettuce, fruit/a few pineapple chunks and cherries. It came with a sweet and sour sauce. By everything being separated in the dish, there was no infusion of flavor, which made it dry and uneventful. I wouldn't get this again. 5/10. We also got the Crab Rangoon (cheese & crabmeat inside). These did not transport well. They seems wilted and probably need to be eaten soon after taken from cooking. Plus they were very stingy on the cheese and crab inside. 4/10. Spring rolls too, as a appetizer. They were just ok! Again, just needed more inside the roll. 4/10 By this being my first time trying this restaurant it may get a better review if I visited. So hopefully I'll do that in the future .

While were there, many Chinese-speaking people came in to eat and order out, which is always a good sign. It is a no frills, non-fancy place to eat (kiosk ordering, self serve plastic utensils). We focused mostly on the noodle dishes for this trip, and want to go back to try their other dishes (many which seem to be more geared toward the American palate, e.g, General Tsao's chicken). Deep fried dough sticks (you tiao) - 5*/5, I love these and have not found dim sum places in Chinatown that serve the light, easy to tear apart version of this anywhere and Sang Kee Asian Bistro does not offer this on their otherwise wonder dim sum menu. I am SO happy to find this and will be back again and again just for these. Along with some hot, sweetened soy milk to dip them in, this will be my special treat/snack go to item at Taste of Chang'an. Hooray! Pork & Chives dumplings - 5/5, these are very good dumplings and although I like the filling I make better, I am unwilling to make my own wrappers so I can imagine ordering these for takeout in the future as an appetizer for a party. Hot & Sour soup - 4/5, good overall but could use more hot and more sour. I appreciated how the broth was actually not broth and not as gummy as some hot and sour soups can be. Changan Biangbiang Noodles - 4/5, I appreciated the hand pulled noodles but found the ratio of pork belly pieces to the amount of noodles to be too low so after eating my way half through the bowl I had only noodles left. Flavors are good, but the next day I did not want to eat my leftovers which is a sign. Pork Ribs Noodles - 4/5, my son had this and he and I agreed the pork ribs were more flavorful than the pork belly pieces in my noodles. He also had many leftover noodles with no more meat, and did not want to eat the leftovers. Sauteed Spicy Chicken Noodle - 4/5, my husband had this and it looked more like a chicken/green pepper dish on a bed of noodles. Leftovers had a good ratio of all items in the dish and I did eat these the next day for lunch. When I go back, I'd like to try their zha jiang noodles, pork buns, scallion pancakes, and their other dishes. And I am so happy to have found somewhere on the Main Line where I can pick up fresh, hot you tiao!

I've lived in this community for a long time and have driven past this restaurant countless times, but yesterday was actually my first time dining here. Parking: There is a very small parking lot, so be prepared to park on the street. Since it's also in a residential area, street parking was a little challenging. We ended up parking about a block away and walking. We were seated in a private room and enjoyed several courses from the banquet menu. Drink: creamy espresso martini. It was ok. Hors d'oeuvres your own plate: Lobster shrimp dumplings Taro crab cake Firecracker spring roll with lotus root, shiitake, carrot, and jicama Grilled lemongrass chicken The lobster shrimp dumplings were delicious. The taro crab cake was pretty good as well. The firecracker spring roll was also enjoyable. The grilled lemongrass chicken was my least favorite it had a spice that didn't sit well with my palate. Next course family style which I like: Champagne Maine Lobster Lobster sautéed with shrimp, shiitake, and snow peas served with longevity noodles and ginger scallion sauce. The lobster itself was tender, but I'm not a fan of ginger, so that dish wasn't really for me. Plum Duck: Crispy duck served with broccolini and sweet rice with Chinese sausage. I loved the crispy duck skin, but duck has a strong flavor and I just wasn't in the mood for it. The sweet rice was a bit too sticky for my liking. Pinecone Crispy Seabass: A whole crispy seabass with pineapple, onion, edamame, sweet peppers, and gunpowder sauce. This was my favorite dish of the night. The fish was excellent -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I even ate the head! Five Spice Braised Short Rib: Slow cooked with sautéed green apple and gai lan served with noodles. The short rib was fall-off-the-bone tender, though I didn't care much for the noodles. We also had pineapple vegetable fried rice with shiitake, basil, tomato, snow peas, carrot, and egg. That was very good -- I paired it with the fish and duck. Dessert single serve: Lunar walnut cake Triple chocolate mousse Mango crème brûlée Fresh berries which were unripe strawberries so I didn't eat them The mango crème brûlée was my favorite dessert. Lightly sweet. Overall, the restaurant serves Chinese cuisine with a French flair. The service was good and the staff was very attentive. I would definitely return to try more dishes and I will absolutely be back for that crispy seabass again.
