Came here as fried rice is comfort food for me. Since moving from the west coast I hadn't found true Wok fried rice. I got shrimp fried rice, small wonton soup and an egg roll. It was about $19 before tip. The restaurant was nice and clean. I went at a non busy time and dinned in. It was nice and quiet. The staff was very nice The wonton soup and egg roll were good as apps, everything was hot and good. The fried rice was my fave style with eggs and scallion (I hate peas and carrots). Ample shrimp and made fresh in good old seasoned wok. I'll def be back here!

This place is not usually crowded when I visit but you can then it's a hidden gem for the people in the area. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are large enough and the service is always very friendly. Restaurant is clean, and well kept.

Average Chinese Food This place is nothing special, but it's fast and affordable. The wontons were good but a the soup was bland and needed more salt. It's not a go to place for really good authentic "Chinese Food" Meh

Nice looking restaurant, however they only have takeout service as of right now. No Dine In Available. The proportion of the food is pretty decent, and the food tastes great and fresh! The shrimps they have are BIG! Hopefully I will be able to dine in there someday! Could be a decent dim-sum spot in the suburb!

I love this place!!! I've dined in when it was allowed and the service is great. The food is on point! Not just your average Chinese takeout store. It's a bit more authentic as the prices and dish sizes show it. Well worth it. My favorite dish is the Roast Pork Noodle Soup. $10 for a nice size bowl. The fried rice is really good too. Highly recommend for takeout in the area. I almost forgot! They actually brought my food out to my car after I placed my order, payed inside and went to wait in my car. That's pretty cool during this pandemic!

Went to Golden Bowl for the first time with my two friends Shelby and Lexi on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the area. He had told me it was the best place for wonton / ramen soup and that I needed to try it. I was craving Chiense so I thought it would be a good time to try Golden Bowl. I was very pleased with the entire experience. I normally do not give five stars because there is usually one thing that I wish went better or tasted better or whatever but Golden Bowl exceeded my expectations. The decor on the inside was very cute and comfortable. The staff was so kind and couldn't do enough for us, always checking up on our table and making sure we were happy with the food. We decided to order pork fried dumplings for us to share and I ordered a peaking duck wrap. Shelby also ordered a spring roll. The duck roll was one of the best I've ever had. And Shelby enjoyed the spring roll as well. The dumplings were delicious. Doughy, fresh and hot! Couldn't have asked for better ones. For my entree, I ordered the Hong Kong wonton noodle soup with shrimp and pork and throughly enjoyed it!! We also ordered the veggie fried rice for the table and that was great as well. Lexi ordered chicken lo mein and really liked it. So overall we had a great experience! Even the tea was great! Will definitely be back soon!!

While were there, many Chinese-speaking people came in to eat and order out, which is always a good sign. It is a no frills, non-fancy place to eat (kiosk ordering, self serve plastic utensils). We focused mostly on the noodle dishes for this trip, and want to go back to try their other dishes (many which seem to be more geared toward the American palate, e.g, General Tsao's chicken). Deep fried dough sticks (you tiao) - 5*/5, I love these and have not found dim sum places in Chinatown that serve the light, easy to tear apart version of this anywhere and Sang Kee Asian Bistro does not offer this on their otherwise wonder dim sum menu. I am SO happy to find this and will be back again and again just for these. Along with some hot, sweetened soy milk to dip them in, this will be my special treat/snack go to item at Taste of Chang'an. Hooray! Pork & Chives dumplings - 5/5, these are very good dumplings and although I like the filling I make better, I am unwilling to make my own wrappers so I can imagine ordering these for takeout in the future as an appetizer for a party. Hot & Sour soup - 4/5, good overall but could use more hot and more sour. I appreciated how the broth was actually not broth and not as gummy as some hot and sour soups can be. Changan Biangbiang Noodles - 4/5, I appreciated the hand pulled noodles but found the ratio of pork belly pieces to the amount of noodles to be too low so after eating my way half through the bowl I had only noodles left. Flavors are good, but the next day I did not want to eat my leftovers which is a sign. Pork Ribs Noodles - 4/5, my son had this and he and I agreed the pork ribs were more flavorful than the pork belly pieces in my noodles. He also had many leftover noodles with no more meat, and did not want to eat the leftovers. Sauteed Spicy Chicken Noodle - 4/5, my husband had this and it looked more like a chicken/green pepper dish on a bed of noodles. Leftovers had a good ratio of all items in the dish and I did eat these the next day for lunch. When I go back, I'd like to try their zha jiang noodles, pork buns, scallion pancakes, and their other dishes. And I am so happy to have found somewhere on the Main Line where I can pick up fresh, hot you tiao!

The prices were also reasonable. My sister ordered several appetizers for the table, and then we each ordered an entree. For appetizers, we had the cucumber salad with garlic, the scallion pancake, and the shredded pig ear. The cucumber salad was fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed the scallion pancake with dipping sauce, but I was not a fan of the shredded pig ear with chili oil. The texture was just too rubbery. As an entree, I ordered and loved their huge bowl of hot and sour soup. It was one of the best hot and sour soups I've ever tasted. Although it says one serving, it was large enough to be a meal. The spice level was just right, and the broth was rich and complex. However, being at a restaurant known for soup dumplings, I had to try the Lucky Six Soup Dumplings which ranged from black truffle to crab meat and pork. It was fun trying each type of dumpling (6 total), with the black truffle being my favorite. Be advised, they can be a challenge to eat as you want to slurp up all the soup inside without any spilling out. We were allowed to bring our own cake which was served by their cool robot. Human service was also efficient! Overall, a fun experience at a unique restaurant.

The place is a mile away and doesn't offer pickup on the app. We selected this restaurant over the other close Chinese restaurant because of the ratings but with this service I would just pick the other one. I finally called the restaurant and the lady who answered the phone said the order was delivered. The app said (and still now at 7:16 still says) the order is in process. She said her app (what app?) showed the order as being delivered. We checked the front door (we were sitting in the front room the entire time) and the food was on the front step. The driver never knocked, never rang, the app was never updated. When I opened the order, we were missing not only the large wonton soup, but also the General Tso's Chicken Combo Plattet was missing the lo mein noodles. The store offered to provide an in person credit (we were in a rush to depart on a five hour drive and had ordered delivery so we wouldn't need to go anywhere and wait) or a grubhub credit (I never use grubhub, I ordered through Yelp, and with this service I won't ever use it again.) So, a pretty lousy experience for OK Chinese food that was supposed to be convenient but was the most inconvenient delivery experience ever

The staff were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. For our meal, we ordered the shrimp platter and the white fish with bok choy, and both dishes were excellent. The shrimp platter was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The shrimp were cooked perfectly--tender, juicy, and well-seasoned without overpowering the natural taste. Each bite felt fresh and balanced, and the portion size was just right. The white fish with bok choy was a standout dish. The fish was delicate, flaky, and cooked to perfection, while the bok choy added a nice crunch and freshness to the plate. The sauce was light yet flavorful, allowing the ingredients to shine without being too heavy or oily. It felt like a well-thought-out dish that reflects Dan Dan's focus on quality and authenticity. Overall, our dining experience at Dan Dan was memorable. The food quality, thoughtful preparation, and friendly service really set this restaurant apart. If you're in the Ardmore area and looking for delicious Asian-inspired cuisine made with care, Dan Dan is definitely worth a visit.
