Portland do not sleep on this fabulous new restaurant! Heartbreaker has the dreamy easy meal you need when you're on the go. Friendly staff, options for every dietary need (gluten free Buns and Romaine Lettuce wraps available for the hot dogs, dogs come in vegan, beef or pork). The pickle plate is the best I've had in PDX. This space is developing but already has lots of Southern charm, thanks to the chef's Southern roots. House made ice cream is abundant in classic and adventurous flavors, take home a pint or get a sundae! I'm a big fan of supporting LGBTQ owned businesses who support the community, and you're spending money here that really makes a difference. Can't wait to see how this beautiful space develops!

Stopped in for the first time and it won't be our last! Perfect spot for an easy, fast, home cooked, lunch in Montavilla. Our food was so delicious! The staff is so nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is so cute and homey I want to live there! I was taking notes (and pictures) left and right. All of it is spot on!! We ordered the dirty cowgirl hotdog with chips and the heart of gold grilled cheese with cup of chili. It was all amazing and delicious.

Tasty food, with meat and vegetarian/vegan options. We tried a vegan dirty cowgirl, and a beef special (called something related to Miami). Both were delicious- tasty sauces, and other toppings, a great bun and very filling. We tried ice cream as well, which was delicious. Super friendly service, and a clean, cute space. We'll be back to try a frito pie, some other hot dog and ice cream flavors!

What a delicious and worth visiting spot amongst a gazillion places to eat in Portland. Not just another eatery, Heartbreaker's creative menu and handmade southern touches are unique and expertly done. Don't miss out on the chow chow topping, and the home made fancy ice cream selections. If all gender bathrooms are important for you this business does have an all gender bathroom.

Possibly our new favorite since James John Cafe closed in St Johns. Perfect blend of all our favorite things. Preserved goods, home cooking and sweet staff. We ordered the shrub flight with bubbly. Comically, we call soda water "bubbly" at home and didn't give it another thought. We don't drink. They kindly reported the vins for us with sparkling water. Thank you for a lovely brunch!

Crispy, airy, buttery and oh, so delicate, my raspberry cruffin was the dessert dreams are made of! If you've never had a cruffin... what are you waiting for?! It's croissant dough baked into a muffin shape. And the particular version I ordered today was filled with sweet and creamy vanilla custard and raspberry jelly. My mouth is watering describing this now, a true sign I'll be returning to experience this delicacy time and time again. There are three locations of Twisted Croissant in Portland, and this is the only one I've visited. The interior has a classic Parisian bakery vibe, clad in white subway tile from floor to ceiling. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Given the location, I assume there is outdoor seating in the summer months, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, run here if you haven't been. These baked goods are worth the visit!

Easiest 5 star review!…read more It's all about the goods, baked goods. Breads. Treats. Sammies. Coffee and all the drinks are fine but everything in display was made by hand with quality ingredients. People line up until it's gone. Some days we've waited thirty people deep but in this day it was about a dozen. Service is quick and although there is seating, it's often full. We always go with the intention of eating somewhere else. The jamon sandwich, French pastries and especially the perfectly crunchy carmelly palmier are my faves. The Annex next door has a paired down list of options that often keeps the line from getting too long at the main store. We love both. The quiche was rich, flaky, and packed with flavor, while the chocolate croissant had beautifully laminated layers with just the right balance of buttery pastry and chocolate. The fresh bread was the highlight, beautifully crusty on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and everything you'd hope for from a true artisan bakery. You can taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. Service was swift and easy, making the experience seamless from start to finish. There was also a decent amount of seating available, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing something on the go or catching up with a friend over coffee and pastries.
