The pizza place situated in what was once (very obviously) a Sonic. This particular location delivers pretty quickly to the AB area, and probably Ruskin, too. Also has a drive-thru and pull-up spots, if you don't have their phone number on hand and NEED PIZZA RIGHT NOW. The pizza is like every other Hungry Howie's ever. It's good enough if you're hungry, and HH does their thing with the flavored crusts, so it sets them apart ever so slightly from the other pizza chains in the area. It's fine, whatever. Chain pizza. I ordered a pizza bowl (I don't know the actual name of the product, just that you eat it with a fork. I asked to make sure that I would get some napkins and a fork because that location never brings any. The guy on the phone said it was not a problem, but I would have to pay extra. When I complained about being charged for something that should, and always has come with your order, no matter where you get it, he acted as if I was being silly by complaining. I cancelled my order and will NEVER use that ridiculous location again. It's not as if I can't afford it. It's the principle. Where does it stop? Next, they'll be charging for the container. Love my Deluxe Combination Subs. Been pleased with HH in Apollo Beach since I moved here a few yrs ago.

Just received our pizza an hour and 15 minutes after we placed the order. Delivery. Ordered a large thin crust pepperoni pizza, well done. I did not know that well done meant burnt. Pizza arrived semi-warm like it had been sitting under the warmers for an hour. Pizza has good flavor but is very very dry definitely not worth $20 bucks. It's like cardboard. Definitely not hot and fresh. Super disappointing however not surprised Coming from Chicago, we are pizza snobs and no we don't eat deep dish. Who knew? I have lived in Florida for 3 years and never tried HH. We ordered a Cuban pizza on original crust this week and...Wow! I loved this pizza! Get one! My hubby tried the Hawaiian-Howie Maui Pizza. It was so delicious. Our pizza had a lot of toppings and was piping hot. We will be ordering again. I had never heard of Hungry Howie's but you know what? It was kinda goood. The subs are basically mini pizza dough wraps. It all is freshly made (or cooked, I'm sure the food is already constructed) and yeah it's a huge chain and I don't like giving money to chains, but I do like the systems and doing something new. Hungry Howie's reminded me of Papa John's.... it's edible but nothing special. We ordered it late one night forth of July weekend during a big family cookout after everyone got tired of eating bbq. We ordered three large pies (sausage, pepperoni and cheese for 35 people. There was more than enough left over when everyone was done eating. The pizza wasn't horrible but it wasn't fabulous either. I didn't hate it but I wouldn't order it again. My uncle said he only ordered it because their usual pizza spot was already closed. Hungry's is your average run-of-the-mill pizza place. If I could give it no stars I would, these guys are literal idiots, I ordered pizza at 6pm and never received it when I call they told me "the driver didn't know how to enter the neighborhood" Mind you there's only one ducking road, no big deal though, I ask them to please deliver it out again and the idiot driver did the same thing again. Never once tried to call to figure out how to get or anything. When I call the store they act like nothings wrong sending my fucking order back TWICE. I buy 4 to 5 large pizza's once or twice a month in order to brighten up the elderly at the ILF where my Father lives. Hungry Howie's pizza's are ok. They are enjoyed by the people, but their delivery people need a GPS, Pathfinder, Search Lights, (forget the maps, they couldn't figure them out). Needless to say. Hungry Howies really? Yes. It is consistently a good inexpensive pizza. It is my go-to pizza either for just a regular Friday night or a quick meal for a big group at the house especially with kids. I think they blow away Little Caesar's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, and even Papa John's. Now they may not please you pizza snobs out there who insist that nobody can touch your Chicago or New York style pizza, but for the price it is a good pizza with a generous amount of cheese, sauce and flavor.
