Great little breakfast and lunch place. We had the egg basket with bacon, hash browns, and biscuit. Absolutely more food than anyone other than a lumberjack could eat. We recently went for breakfast. I'm not sure what to rave about, the wonderful people who work there or the food. Both are truly terrific. The people are so friendly and helpful. The food is great. Had a short wait getting there at 11:00 on a Saturday morning. Coffee was offered while we waited and we were given the option of sitting at the counter, Found out the hostess was the owner along with her husband who was cooking. Very pleasant, bubbly, and accommodating. My wife had a Spanish omelet she was unable to finish it was so huge, and a biscuit she made sure she finished because it was so good! I had two pancakes, eggs over easy that were perfectly cooked, and sausage that was just the right amount of spicy. The pancakes were platter sized and I managed 1 and a half before having to give up. The pancakes were possibly the best I have ever had, so light, perfectly cooked, tender. Breakfast is my favorite meal to have out and this one ranks up there with the very best I have ever had. read more

Glad we decided on eating here. A bit of a drive from "the strip" but well worth it. Had the hash browns that were stuffed with green & red peppers/mushrooms/onions/sour cream (think it's called Bob's hashbrowns) and it was delish! OMG! If you walk out of here hungry it's YOUR fault! 4 of us had breakfast on 5/29/2016 Best we've had in a very long time. I ordered the chicken fried steak, best I have ever had. Homemade! My brother in law ordered the Mexican Omelette with a pancake. They both covered the entire plate and tasted delicious. My wife ordered scrambled eggs and bacon ala carte and she too received more bacon than she could eat. Sister in law had eggs, sausage and hash browns and she really enjoyed them. The white bread for toast is homemade and delicious. It is a smaller cafe, staff is friendly and attentive. I spoke with the owners daughter about the quality of the food and complimented her about it since so many restaurants are so willing to use pre-prepared frozen items. She told me how her dad would only allow them to use only original fresh ingredients. There's a success story there! read more

Had breakfast on a Thursday morning around 10 am. We were in a blissful food coma afterwards. Get the Bob's Special Hashbrowns. Per my husband - "the best hash browns he has ever had." Cinnamon rolls, French toast and pancakes were also great. Great service as well. read more

We stumbled across this restaurant when the one we were aiming for had a 45 minute wait. We were luck we did because this was relatively quiet and the food was tasty and priced well. I ordered one of their egg basket options with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a biscuit. The biscuit was obviously homemade and was soooo good. Eggs and bacon were great too. My husband had their corned beef hash and said it was some of the best he's had. His meal also came with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit. Our server was friendly and working hard with a smile on her face. Everyone seemed to be having a good time here and it made the experience all the more enjoyable. Wow-- really delicious, generous breakfast. Definitely worth a stop! Bob's hash browns are scrumptious, the bacon was fabulous, the coffee was fresh and kept coming. We ordered the egg basket and a western omelette-- HUGE portions, delicious food. We saw other tables with a HUGE pancake-- at least a foot across! The service was tremendously friendly and prompt. I tried The Hungry Hunter for the first time today with my family and I was blown away by the friendly people, very clean restaurant, great breakfast/lunch menu, and reasonable prices! This is a good - not five-star - place. Good servers, decent food. The menu offered pigs in a blanket which came out as pancakes and sausages or as we called them, pigs next to blankets. Scrambled eggs were actually a fried egg, chopped up. It's located almost within an RV park and has a double-wide feel itself - offset by a cute little electric train going around the top of the room. read more
