We are staying nearby and were looking for a place to eat. We got a chuckle out of the variety of menu: Hamburgers/chinese/pizza. We ordered 4 different burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. All of us were super happy with our orders. We also ordered crab ragoon. Not our favorite but if you like your filling on the sweet side, You might like them It was a great classic burger joint. We might come back for a homemade breakfast in the morning. And we did go for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were soooo good! Pancake was sweet. No syrup necessary. Great breakfast

Excellent hole-in-the-wall place! Try the garlic cheese curds, amazing. The white lightning hamburger has bacon and their signature bbq sauce, pretty good. The fried ravioli was good as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals in our group of 7. Service was very friendly. Has a 60's diner feel.

You can see how good the blackberry cobbler was.

Stopped in for Fiesta Thursday. As always the staff was super friendly. The food came out quickly. Good sized portion, more then enough for one person. Filled with chicken, rice and beans. Fried crispy and covered in queso. Chips were fresh and the salsa was mild . It was a good meal. Definitely reasonably priced for the area. I didn't get dessert tonight but they always have a selection of homemade cakes and pies and other sweets. Definitely will be going back.

My daughter and I were in the area visiting and read several positive reviews so we decided to give…read moreit a try. When we first pulled up the place looked like it might have been closed, but it wasn't. We were just there at an unpopular time of day. It was around 2:45pm so after lunch and too early for dinner, but we were hungry. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted by a very kind and informative gentleman. We told him we had never been there before and he informed us that because it's a bbq place, they sell out very early. It was also St Patrick's Day and he told us even those specials were all sold out. He proceeded to tell us what they had left and made recommendations for us based on what was available. We ended up ordering the smoked turkey, burnt ends, potato salad and the bbq beans. The sauces we tried were a mustard based bbq sauce and their traditional house bbq sauce. We took a seat at a table while we waited for our food. It's a seat yourself dining room. Our only complaint about the dining room was the lighting and temperature. It was too dark inside and the temperature was too cold, but it was also very cold outside. Our food was brought out pretty quickly and everything was worth the wait! The turkey was so moist and tender and the burnt ends were charred just right. The potato salad and beans were both large enough to share. The potato salad had an unusual flavor because it was made with pickles which we love so it was different but incredibly delicious at the same time. I was so glad we ordered it. The beans were just okay for me, but my daughter really liked them. Personally, I don't get too excited about beans when there's better options to try. I'd rather put those carbs and calories to better use. LOL The sauces were both good but the mustard one had a very strong mustard flavor so if mustard isn't your thing you're not going to like it. The house sauce is just the right mix or sweet and smoky. As I'm writing this review, I'm craving the potato salad so much and the turkey too. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely stopping there again. Nice staff, great food, and good portions what more to ask for.

I left with a profound sense of spiritual displacement and an empty stomach. The service was prompt, but the atmosphere took a turn for the supernatural shortly after we were seated. While the staff was professional, they failed to warn us about the sentient portrait photo of Paula Deen hanging in the dining area. Midway through our first course, the portrait's eyes began to track our movements with a predatory glint. Without warning, the 2D Paula detached herself from the canvas, stepped into the three-dimensional realm, and began a localized reign of terror. The Incident Log: The Biscuits: My "Ooo-ee" Butter-Drenched Biscuits were the first casualties. She vacuumed them up with a sound like a shop-vac in a flour factory. The Decor: In a display of indiscriminate hunger, the portrait then turned her attention to the centerpiece. She didn't just smell the decorative flowers; she ate the silk hydrangeas and the ceramic vase they were housed in. The Collateral Damage: My companion's fried chicken was snatched mid-air. Even the sugar packets weren't safe. It is difficult to critique the seasoning of the meatloaf when the restaurant's namesake--or at least a high-pigment manifestation of her--is busy unhinging her jaw to consume the table's napkins. I reached out to our server to ask if this was a scheduled performance or a breach of the space-time continuum. They simply offered us more sweet tea, which the portrait promptly intercepted and drank through the glass. Verdict: If you are looking for a quiet family meal, look elsewhere. However, if you want to watch a piece of wall art achieve apex predator status by eating everything in a 10-foot radius, this is the premier destination in Branson. I am still hungry, but I am mostly just impressed by the portrait's digestive fortitude.
