My family and I went here for lunch on a Sunday. Seat yourself, order when you're ready and they will bring it to you. You first walk into their retail space. As you head in to the restaurant the place opens up. High ceilings, tables spread out and a half-open kitchen concept. You see the Chef and others hard at work preparing food. Something you typically see in a fine dining restaurant. After securing our table in a quieter back section of the place, my dad and I memorized the tables orders and went to place it. A burger, a buffalo chicken wrap, a shrimp po boy, a bowl of gumbo and a side of mac and cheese. Food and drinks for all came to around $60. The food didn't take long. It was all fresh and tasty. The burger, for me, was a standout. This was a fresh ground burger. A meat patty with some weight to it topped with fresh veggies and a soft bun. The fries on the side were ok. They needed to be crispier but otherwise were good with ketchup. Everyone around the table was happy with their meals. We ate a nice lunch, the staff we encountered were friendly and the price was right. It was just the lunch we were looking for. Their menu is eclectic too. No shortage of options for any craving. I'd come back here again.

There is signage at the counter to order that reminds diners that each meal is made to order. So consider your time accordingly. Let me say this is a great spot for lunch! The prices are downright reasonable!! In a place where lunch entrees are nearing a $20 bill each, Gocki's has keeps its prices seemingly low and very fair. Felt like a bargain lunch to us! Havana is a lovely little town known for its main street shops, as well as quaint antique and boutique shops. I highly recommend Gocki's for lunch! We ordered the Mac and cheese bowl with shrimp, bacon and boom boom sauce. It's delicious. I could only finish half. Need a to go box? They're available in two spots in the dining are. Easy! My dining companion ordered the Italian sandwich filled with ham Genoa salami and pepperoni with mayo lettuce, tomato, onion, Italian Dressing and Seasonings topped with Provolone cheese served on white or wheat bread. It's served with fries too. My dining companion couldn't finish half the sandwich. The restaurant was very clean. There are two dining areas to enjoy your meal in. There is an ice cream case with 8 or so flavors. At $3 per scoop, this feels like a deal. We were too full from lunch. Wahhhh. Next time we split a sandwich and make room for ice cream. They also had baked goods including a cookie sandwich that looked delicious, as well as cookies and brownies. Service staff were personable, pleasant and efficient. If you're going to Havana, this place is a gem worth enjoying!

My server immediately came to the table, brought me an unsweetened tea. I was torn between shrimp n grits or the Parmesan crusted black grouper. My said both were great. I chose the grouper. My entree arrived and it didn't disappoint. A large thick piece of grouper cooked perfectly surrounded by a crispy delicious crust. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and tender with a tasty sweet glaze. The greens were also on point - lots of bacon pieces and a sweet/spicy taste. Lunch came with a large crispy hush puppy. With tip - lunch was $50. A bit pricey - I don't mind paying top dollar for a top quality meal and service. Well done Jonah's!

Not really worth the wait. Decent food. Friendly staff. But nothing super special. For Thomasville, I get it, but I live in Pensacola where there is a place like this on every corner. I had the grouper sandwich (blackened) and the fried green tomatoes for a starter. The FGTs were very good. The sandwich was average except that the ciabatta bun was exceptional. Cheese grits on the side were above average. Brussels sprouts were just like any bistro Brussels sprouts ever (man, I wish this trend would die, but I keep ordering them hoping to be surprised.) The place was PACKED (as usual) but the staff were friendly and attentive. For me, however, this is expected in any restaurant. Therefore: 3 stars for decent - if unimaginative- food and good service. Will not come back unless there is no line ... albeit an unlikely scenario.
