One of the best restaurants in town. The owner himself personally tends to guests any time he is present at this location and always treats them as friends. The service is fantastic. The food is all very obviously homemade and tastes delicious. Large portion sizes too!! It can be fairly busy so it's often quite loud indoors, but it's busy for a good reason. I ordered chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and a side salad. My husband had the breakfast and I can't remember all he got at this time. The salad was bigger than I had expected. The chicken fried steak was crispy and tasty. Until I noticed a hair in the gravy. I told our waitress and had her take it away. I ended up leaving my husband at the table because I was nauseous, and I went to our car. He had no complaints about his food. Our visit was yesterday 2/26/2021 around 4:30-5. We were just in town for the weekend so I can't say I would return. The restaurant was nice and busy, we had no trouble getting seated. Although it was really cold inside. Well this little hidden gem is a lost diamond!!! I yelped it and I was not disappointed in anyway!!! I was here on a Sunday morning and we'll it was busy as heck!!! And for a good reason!!! This place is totally legitimate for food!!! It does get busy and it does fill up fast so come here early. I had a 15 min wait which was not bad but also I was there by myself. Once I was seated my server was right on top of it... she greeted me with a smile and treated me very well. The coffee was amazing that I had 4 cups, it truly helps when it is nice and hot and fresher brewed. The whole place was just packed and the aromas that where coming out that kitchen where amazing. The pancakes where so good! Wow my mouth is just watering from thinking about them. I enjoyed my eggs, chicken fried steak and house potatoes with country gravy! The covid spacing is not suitable it is to close and I myself having a auto immune I will not be going back until things straighten out with this covid crap. However I will go back. My boyfriend and I had a great time this morning!! We had a very yummy breakfast that came hot quickly and hot. The staff from the moment we walked in to when we left were all so welcoming, warm & sweet. Our host sat us immediately and got our drink order in. Not sure if I caught them at the wrong time but the food was ok (2-9-21) but willing to give them another shot when in the area. The best breakfast around, I recommend the huevos rancheros. This place is locally owned and it shows.

Take everything that you love from the Waffle House, IHOP, Bob Evans, Denny's, the Huddle House, etc. and up that deliciousness by ten fold and you will experience the greatness of a Hungry Jack breakfast. Be sure to go early or expect to wait. And if you do get a lazy morning start just know that it will be so worth the short wait. My sweet husband raved over the seasoned home fries and said they were worthy of just a solid plate of those delicious potatoes as a meal! The portions are generous, the service is great, and the food is granted a 5-start rating in my opinion. You walk in and the big smell of egg welcomes you! Food is good, is like the way you (not a chef) will do it at home, real eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon good, fresh ingredients, clean place. Pancakes is just ok, no steak and eggs on the menú and coffee is just like black hot water, needs more attention to those details and will be a 4 Stars place.
