Honestly, I love me some Hungry Tiger Pizza. I'm surprised it doesn't have more bumpin' reviews. I guess it depends on what kind of pizza you like, but HT does Greek pizza RIGHT. Run by a cute Greek family, I've never had anything bad here, and you know they're about their business. My fam always gets the sausage pizza which is delicious, and that CRUST. I most recently got their mixed greens salad, which was mixed greens (duh, yes), goat chez - a plethora, roasted green peppers (uhm yum), cranberries, and I added grilled chicken, which they give you enough for two meals. My sister tells me tales of their garlic bread, which allegedly is the size of a full pizza. Thus, that's next on the list when I go there. My family has been going here for a while, and with a lot of pizza places in Billerica (really there's nothing else...) Hungry Tiger never lets you down. read more

Just ordered and honestly this place is a gem! Cheeseburger dinner came with TWO burgers and tons of fries. Cheese omelette was amazing- my daughter LOVED it! Love love the pizza here. I honestly don't know what they do to it, but it's kind of like a Greek pizza but not greasy and the dough is so light and fluffy and crispy. My mom and I are so picky and it is definitely our favorite place. We have to try some of the other items but we love the pizza so much. They are awful. Hung up on me when I had an order issue, claiming they were too busy to resolve the fact that they didn't send the right pizza to me. I tried calling multiple time and met with aggression every time and then hanging up the phone. This establishment is unprofessional and should not be one anyone in this area should support. I stopped for dinner at Hungry Tiger, which is located in the Town Plaza next to Namco. They serve up Greek style pizza, calzones, subs, wraps, gyros, salads, pasta, seafood, steak tips, appetizers, chips, and more. Bottled Coke products, beer and wine served here. The place is order at the counter (in back) with table seating in the middle of the room and the booths with have mini flatscreen TVs along the walls. The walls are decorated with framed prints, signs, pennants, and art vases. I ordered a Regular 10" Eggplant & Feta Pizza ($8.25 plus tax), which was ready in about 20 minutes. I watched some sports highlights on the TVs while I waited and the kitchen staff was seen gazing out through the narrow long opening between the kitchen area and the dining area like "hungry tigers" as customers entered the place. I enjoyed the pizza hot out of the oven which was a very good Greek style pizza. The crust was crisp outside with a firm texture, topped with tomato sauce, a blend of cheddar, mozzarella, & feta, oregano, and soft slices of breaded eggplant. Probably would have been better off at the Market Basket for a sub. Maybe just a bad day during the lunch rush, have eaten here before and it was okay, but nothing to write home about. Finally. A good place in Billerica to get a good grilled chicken salad. Got a grilled chicken salad and a grilled chicken buffalo salad and they both came with a lot of chicken. Both were delicious. Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Well, this isn't the game or the place but Hungry Tiger is a great place to sooth the appetite of a tiger. A traditional subshop with Greek-American style pizza (mmm-my favorite). Hungry Tiger is spacious and has a small plasma/HD TV at ever booth against the wall. I really loved it that I could eat lunch and watch a little TV. It helps since my office doesn't even have a break room. Is that even legal? The subs were good and filling. Food is pretty good. Big menu too. Only minor issues, like they don't know how to wrap a wrap. All the contents falls out always! If you get a wrap, get a fork too. Also, they only have one wrap option and that's wheat. The worst of the wrap options. Lol. Also, the lady at the front counter isn't very friendly. I always feel like I am bothering her. They have a ton of TVs for some reason. None are HD and all only have hockey or the news (not great when I am sitting there with my kids and they have to see a report on a disturbing news story). My son and I went to the restaurant at 8:45 last night it states they close at 9:30 we walked in and I double checked that they closed at 9:30 the woman didn't even know what day it was we then ordered our food asking that we could eat there she said of course then about 10 minutes later she came out and said you take it to go she could barely speak English we said no we want to eat here so it went back-and-forth a little bit we ended up eating it there but it was just it was really uncomfortable they were sort of staring at us. Not only healthier but also more flavorful than your typical run-of-the-mill sub, Their Tiger Sub - a combination of fresh roast beef, turkey, and bacon - is particularly genius. Other recommended items (besides their pizza which is great!) is their Chicken Broccoli & Chicken Blue Cheese Subs, and Turkey Club. Just not a great cheesesteak experience overall. It appears the core items here are Pizza/Calzones. We recently got lunch at the Hungry Tiger in Billerica, MA. This is a standard New England pizza joint. You wait in line, order at the counter, and pick up your food when it's ready. It was very busy at lunchtime, but the food came out fast. I ordered a steak special. It was cooked well, and was full of fresh veggies, although it could have been seasoned a bit more. Not great, but not awful either. With so many places like this in the area, it's hard to stand out. We'd probably return in a pinch. read more

Pizza is crispy and cheesy with just the right amount of slightly sweet sauce. Onion rings and fries were yummy also. There was a short period where quality dipped slightly, but my last couple of experiences were great. They provide the pizzas for birthday parties at the altitude trampoline park next-door and I must say everyone at my son's party raved about the cheese pizzas. read more

Shocked and concerned. I ordered a simple cheese pizza at 8:00 with a 20 minute wait. I got there at 8:14 took it home and it was ice cold. I looked at the ticket that was attached and was made 1 1/2 hours earlier and my pick up number was 146 and this one was 121. That by itself is pretty bad that they would try and pawn off an old pizza but what shocked me was when I returned the pizza they put right back on the rack! read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE: I coach a youth cheer team and we had our end of season party at Altitude. As it was a Tuesday they did not have party staff (which is fine) so I figured we could have our pizza and drinks after the girls tumbled. Hungry Tiger was a few doors down from Altitude so I let parents know pick up would be there. I went over at 5 o'clock (we were going to eat at 6:30) to let them know that we would be a large party of 20 girls plus some parents. Just to give them a heads up so they were not overwhelmed when we came. The girl at the register said hang on and went to an older gentleman that came out and said they did not want us and we should go to McDonalds. He didn't want loud children in his pizza place. He makes his money from making pizza's for Altitude (lots of loud children). He makes his money from all the kids and families who stop by Hungry Tiger after jumping but does not actually want them in his business. I was shocked to say the least. I would never go back to an establishment that would treat my cheer girls like that. Since when do people turn away the business that keeps them IN business? Shame on them. read more
