I found a new spot! This one is great if you want healthy fast food. They have a lot of options to choose from, but I decided to go with the hot honey chicken plate. Presentation, portions, flavor was 10/10!!! Also not bad for the price, as it was just under $15 with a drink. The chicken was juicy and the hot honey and sauce that came with it had the right amount of spice. The choice of veggies with this plate added great flavor and left me feeling super full. Excellent! Nothing more needs to be said, but I would remiss if I didn't share details of our visit. I have been to the Woburn location of Just Salad before and wasn't aware that one had opened in Burlington. It is tucked in the middle of a small strip mall across from the Burlington Mall. I think it's fairly new to the area so I found it very neat and clean. I got the Tokyo Supergreens salad and my husband got the Earth Bowl salad. Both were delicious-all the vegetables were fresh and crisp! And in addition to tofu they also have impossible chicken for a vegan option! I'd mistakenly thought the location was going to be in the Burlington Mall food court, but was pleasantly surprised when I realized it was in the Good Feet plaza (near Tavern on the Square). Kimberly greeted me, gave me a lovely branded reusable grocery bag, and explained the restaurant's mission and concept of sustainability. You can purchase a reusable salad bowl (featuring beloved Sesame Street characters) to bring with you on return visits--earning you a free topping. Just Salad really believes in fresh food and saving the environment. They've also got a set up for all the delivery apps, including their own, which is purportedly "the best" for take out you plan on picking up yourself. The space is cheery and open and clean. Soft music played overhead and the chairs are comfy. I had a DELICIOUS sweet crispy chicken wrap with still water and a chocolate chunk cookie. I must say, all the salad ingredients (accessible only to the food provider) are on display and represent a myriad of veggie & protein options including dressings and fun crunchy toppings. My wrap was fresh, crisp and yummy. The cookie was the perfect amount of crunchewy sweetness. I hope this place does well! The in-house roasted chicken looked incredible so I'll be back for THAT. They also feature plant-based smoothies and 3 types of tea/juice beverages. There are seltzers and sodas by the can as well. read more

Absolutely love Just Salad in Burlington! The ingredients are always so fresh, and there is such a great variety to choose from. I love that you can customize your order, the ability to create a salad exactly how I like it is a game changer. It's a great spot for everyone in the group to find something, with so many other options with smoothies, wraps and now plates. Gustavo is the best! The service here is a mess. The front-of-house manager on the Sunday before Memorial Day was confusing and seemingly lost. He micromanaged his staff into mixing up the dressings that my friend and I had ordered, forcing two salads to be thrown away; he asked me if I wanted a drink and forgot his own question by the time I answered; when my friend demurred on whether we'd enjoyed our meal, he posed the question again immediately. The food tasted good, but my "jammy egg" was just mangled, and it didn't impress me visually when it was served (look at the scraps of lettuce on the edge of my plate). When we went, there was no one ahead of us or behind us. There was really no extrinsic pressure on this staff to justify these unforced errors. In concept, Just Salad is just like Chopt or Sweetgreen. There's nothing new there. read more

I did a make your own bowl and put everything I think would taste good together in it. I got rice, lentils, sweet potato, grilled veggies, mushrooms, chicken, and tofu. So I came here with a friend who has lots of food restrictions. Their salads are good. I won't lie. However, it was one of those days that it was extremely hot outside. Like 100°. And it was probably 85° in the store. The poor people who are serving us looked exhausted and very very hot. It's almost as if they turned the AC on so low just to keep things from spoiling. I didn't like that part. But my salad was good. The woman who assist me I'm not sure if she had a language barrier or not, but when I asked for dressing on the side, she gave me one when I asked for two. I went here one day to eat as well as do some work a routine that I have frequented for a while at sweet greens and/or chipotle. I found this place to be a tad bit more expensive, which was surprising because I thought sweet greens was not cheap to begin with. The parking lot is terrible during peak hours and very difficult to navigate. My salad was OK, but nothing that I would consider a run back as my total cost for a salad with protein and a water was over $20. read more

"Needs work" is a fair grade here. On May 26th they have a "grand opening" sign out with $5 salads advertised .. turns out it's not valid yet until May 30th ... why are the signs out ? Ordering for two people was an exercise in confusion. What appeared to be a manager took one persons order and then ignored the person as they looked to grab another employee to make it . No! Put on the gloves and do it yourself if you take the order ! Take responsibility and execute. The inevitable pass off to another (more competent and earnest) employee resulting in dressing information getting mixed up and the first attempt had to be tossed after they put the wrong thing on it. This was exacerbated by the listing of salad dressings being nowhere in view when the question was asked, but hidden downstream by the register. All in all it took 4 people what felt like 10 minutes and several repeated questions and mistakes to make 2 salads with no line behind or in front of us. By the time I paid I definitely felt the salads should've been $5. They need to practice more before that grand opening or it's going to be a train wreck with actual crowds . At least the actual salads tasted good. Maybe I'll come back in a month or two once they've sorted the teething issues out . I placed an online order at 12:31, and it said it would be ready for pickup at 12:50. I arrived on time but didn't receive my order until 1:21. To make matters worse, they ran out of grilled chicken. Fifty minutes for a salad is unacceptable. The employees are clearly working hard, so this isn't on them--but there's something seriously wrong with management. This isn't the first time I've seen people walk in, order a salad, and leave within five minutes while I wait despite planning ahead. Please make the online system show realistic pickup times. Our warm bowls were not warm. They were--just salad--the chicken was cold and the rice was cold. It might make sense that the other ingredients were cold, but then don't call it a Warm Bowl. Placed a pick-up order for 12:20pm at just before 8:00am. When I went to pick it up at 12:20 (the time requested) the order was no where in sight and the restaurant was packed. I inquired at the cash register and they said they "would get to it", I waited a few minutes and then I asked to speak to the manager, his response was "Too bad. It wouldn't be fair to all of these people if I pushed you to the front of the line." I tried to explain I had ordered hours earlier and yes he could see that but insisted I would still have to wait. I called Corporate while in the restaurant and only then would he prepare my order. I left 20 minutes later. The woman from Corporate did say she would issue a credit but I highly doubt I will ever see anything. I would caution you from going to this JUST SALAD, perhaps other locations are better. read more

We tried this place for the first time the other day - the interior was clean and inviting, and the staff were very helpful. Although our online order ended up taking a while, the employees greeted us upon entering and thanked us for our patience. The ingredients appeared fresh, and the prep stations seemed clean. Our food was very good. The only suggestion I have is that it would be great if they offered some toppings for free, rather than everything costing extra. We got an extra dressing and a sprinkling of cheese to one bowl, and that ended up adding ~$4 to the price of the bowl. I think they'd draw more people in by following chipotle's model - maybe have just the dressings and cheaper ingredients be complimentary, while the premium ingredients come with an extra cost. Some bowls are pretty plain so this would allow for more customization. Overall, this place was great and we will definitely be back. Hope they extend their hours as they get busier! read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I got a build-your-own salad with romaine, chicken, carrots, and corn. 80% of the Romain was rotten. I had to throw the lettuce out and use my own lettuce from home. The chicken was also super dry. Extremely disappointing. There were 3 other salads in our order and all were really lacking on toppings. There is also no option to email the Burlington store directly - only corporate. Would not return. read more

BUT the fact that they don't mark the lids with the name of the salad on take out orders is beyond me. I've asked them to do it a few times and they look at me like I have 4 heads. When we ore ordering for 2, 3 or 5 people and the salads all look similar, it's hard to know which salad is for whom...and it's really frustrating. I was very excited for this place to open so maybe my expectations were too high. It's more of a salad plate than a salad bowl in my opinion. The "bowls" they give you are very shallow & look nothing like their logo which I find ironic. I got a warm bowl with rice & the rice tasted undercooked & hard. The sauce I got was good. But for $12 & that logo I was expecting an actual bowl of food. I would give them another chance but probably won't be a frequent visitor like I had thought and hoped to be. read more

This is our new healthy Go To restaurant! We are obsessed! The entire restaurant was so clean and organized and the music was not blasting like in so many other restaurants. Gustavo, the friendliest and most helpful guy behind the counter, made our first experience at Just Salad a blast. He was very enthusiastic about the food and explained Just Salad had been there for 7 months. The food looked incredibly fresh and there was a great selection to chose from. Gustavo was patient with our slow decision making and offered a few recommendations of his favorites which ended up being excellent choices. We opted to dine in and as soon as Gustova was done ringing us up - he started cleaning the area near where you return the bowls and divide up the trash! I wish I had his energy! Such a sweet guy, delicious fresh food and clean quiet restaurant. We are so psyched to have stopped in and we'll be returning within a week! Yum! read more

Not sure if they just opened today, but I know it was fairly recent. I got the Crispy Chicken Poblano Salad and it was delicious. First time trying out this establishment and I'll definitely be coming back in the near future. Only complaint was that it was a bit pricey. The salad and a can of soda was $17-$18. That being said for the area it's on par for what you will be paying. Staff was really nice as well. Very clean serving stations as well. read more
