BRISKET PHILLY I $16.00 signature brisket
    Marco P.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Northeast Smokehouse and I can't recommend it enough! I tried the brisket Philly, absolutely delicious-- the pitmaster clearly knows their way around a smoker. The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly smoked. I also had the mac & cheese, which was a creamy delight. The atmosphere is friendly and the space is kept very clean, making it a welcoming spot for a meal. What's even more impressive is that this small business started from a food truck and just opened their doors this past January. It's always great to support a local business, especially when they serve up such fantastic food. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of their offerings. Do yourself a favor and check them out Bring your appetite - leave with a smile and possibly a new belt size

Pulled pork, cornbread, and White Cheddar Mac N Cheese

Had a bunch of food catered for a work potluck. BEST food ever! Everything tasted like it was homemade and made with love and purpose. Pulled pork, the bbq meats, Mac and cheese, corn bread and pasta salad were all to die for. Would definitely use this place again!

Brisket was tasteless and expensive. There are other options in the area that are a better value.

The best BBQ I've had in this state in the last decade. The brisket is legit. The pulled pork is so flavorful. Everything is just great.

Since they don't open until 4:00 PM and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, it was surprising that one of their signature barbecue items was already unavailable. The service was friendly throughout our visit. Our server was pleasant, although we did have to remind them a couple of times about the straws and plates we had requested. The food itself was enjoyable. The agave-glazed wings were the best out of all our meals. Charred, flavorful, and something I'd definitely order again. The brisket was tender and well prepared, and while the burnt ends were cooked nicely, they were a bit sweeter than my personal preference. Unfortunately, the apple cider vinaigrette for the salad didn't agree with us afterward, although that may simply come down to individual sensitivity. Portions were generous, making the meal a good value. My only other suggestion would be to serve the food a little hotter, as everything cooled off fairly quickly. One thing this location has going for it is the convenience. There's plenty of parking, and it's much easier to get to than the Boston locations. Overall, delivered solid barbecue with generous portions and friendly service. If they can keep popular menu items like ribs available a little longer and tighten up a few small details, it would make for an even better experience.

Took a couple minutes to sit down but four different people had told me someone will be right with me and they were very nice so I was good. Wasn't really in a rush the person that sat me down, I think the owner, was very nice told me they were pretty busy and someone would be with me in a couple of minutes again I'm glad he told me so I didn't feel like I was abandoned took a little longer than I thought but not too bad. Waitress finally came. I gave her my drink order and my food order and then I waited. The Celtics game was on so my time was occupied. The spot is very nice inside cool vibe. I think it was 50 minutes approximately from when I entered until I got my food. Barbecue places are usually really quick cause the food is ready. I ordered to meet two side combo, brisket pork belly, mac & cheese beans and rice. The mac & cheese was amazing. creamy cheesy good flavor. The beans and rice were pretty good too, moist rice good flavor. The brisket was good wish it was juicier and had more flavor. The pork belly was awful overcooked dry flavorless. All I could taste was burnt and then the cornbread was also very good. I don't know if this place is brand new and they're still figuring things out, but the weight seemed longer than it should be in the food wasn't all as good as it should be the workers the owner were amazing. I hope this place works out for them. staff was a five food was a two. I hate to say it.

I got the two meats with two sides, Smoked Brisket and Pork Belly, Rice n Beans and Mac n Cheese. The Brisket was FANTASTIC, great smoke ring and flavor, the bend and pull was exactly what you'd want, The bacon was a good complement with good chew and taste. The Mac n Cheese was delicious much better than I expected, Smokey taste but there was something else that made me want more, the rice was good, but the Mac n Cheese was just that good!! Best BBQ I've had since Martins in Nashville Tennessee. I can't wait to go back, this time I'm going to eat it there and just enjoy the atmosphere!!

We've had several variations of this and think we prefer the shredded chicken better than the chicken chunks that they serve here. For our main course, my wife decided on their Mesquite barbecue chicken wings with the dry rub while I dove in for a Caesar salad adding blackened salmon. I've been to several and the bigger conglomerates are the ones that have been letting me down the most. In, steps Frangos.... HOLY CRAP WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THIS CHICKEN is pretty much me every time I try what they are offering. Over fries or in a standard basket, doesn't matter because it's super-bomb! Everyone messes up on the juiciness but you'd think this was marinated for at least three days in some god-like buttermilk mixture because it's NEVER a problem here that you get dried out strips. It pairs well with that Frangos sauce you want to take home and possibly bathe in or slurp up with literally anything else out of your fridge. Situated in an old breakfast spot that was easily my favorite within a 10 mile radius and is missed tremendously, I believe the old owner's sons turned this into what it is now and really didn't change much of the decor at all. Hit up the kiosk or go to the friendly staff manning two registers. Even on weeknights, 75% of the tables are filled with everyone from a group of Wilmington teenagers to young families and their kids gobbling down the poultry. It's vibrant and hopping at all hours inside. I'm a huge sucker for atmosphere, so when you hear the mostly 90's pop blaring out behind the kitchen's bluetooth speaker, you know you've come to the right place. Even that toast they are serving alongside the standard dinners *chefs kiss*. My goodness, don't ever change, Frangos.
