We were given a gift card to the Pressed Cafe, so that is what brought us in to try the cafe. We were surprised that it took us twice to drive around the lot before we could find a parking spot. Once inside we were greeted right away and seated immediately by the friendly bartender at the front bar area. He was very helpful and not pushy. The menu was much larger than I thought it would be. Once we were ready to order the bartender came over and took our order. The food came out very quickly even though the restaurant seemed pretty full. We both thought the food was very good. We did not buy any of their pastries but they looked very good in the display cases in the rear of the cafe. I would recommend this cafe and we plan to visit again in the future. read more

This Pressed Cafe location in Chelmsford is easily my favorite one. The spot is beautiful, clean, and super spacious compared to other locations I've been to. It has such a nice vibe whether you're eating in or grabbing food to go. Their portions are huge and the food is always fresh and delicious. My go-to is the eggplant parm bowl, and I love how accommodating they are with requests. The last time I ordered, I added a note asking to swap one grain for another and to include some extra hot sauce. A few minutes later, I actually got a call from an employee (I believe his name was Matt) just to confirm what I wrote. The fact that they called to check to make sure everything was to my liking was so incredibly kind. He was upbeat and friendly and made sure everything came out perfect. The service here is always VERY VERY FAST , the staff is great, and the food never disappoints. Definitely one of the best spots in Chelmsford. I've always loved pressed cafe but today really ruined it for me. First, we ordered an everything bagel, the man on the other end said "French toast bagel?" I repeated to him "everything bagel" and he heard correctly the second time and still put it in wrong. Secondly, we ordered balsamic vinegar instead of Caesar dressing with the salad, and if you look at the photo, it came with an oobleck consistency. Very disappointing and concerning. read more

I have been to a few of these Pressed locations, but I think I like this one the best. It has a bar area, so not typical a "take & go" like the others I have been at. It has the feel of a formal sit-down but also casual at the same time. You still order and get a number and sit. While they have an extensive menu, I always go to my favorite tuna melt. Hitting up the various Pressed Cafes in the area and impressed with them all so far, this one included! They all have such unique styles and designs while keeping the overall vibe between locations. The Chelmsford spot has a nice outside seating area with a few umbrellas. The inside is very open. There is a bar to your left when you first walk in, then some high top-booth tables along the right wall, other tables throughout, and some other crafty seating locations. The order station is in the way back, with another seating area that looked super comfy. The front area in my opinion could use a tad bit more lighting, but it wasn't too dark. I think I tried something different than my usual (the pressed) and got an iced chai to drink. There was a slight mixup with how the order was added (didn't ask for name and we didn't get our number) but everything came out perfect and as expected. One thing to note - the restroom at this location is very unique -- in the way back left past the ordering area, you'll find an open back room. It is an open concept, if you will, where there is a communal mirror and sink in the middle. Along the border wall are various "rooms" that each have a toilet and sink. So it's gender neutral, no designated men's/women's. It was very clean and an interesting concept. I always recommend pressed cafe and suggest if you're in the area to check this one out! read more

Have been ordering takeout from the Chelmsford location since it opened. The food has always been good. However, lately, it appears they can't get a to-go order correct for anything. I wrote to the store and to the corporate contact address after three orders were each missing something. They asked me to reply with the order numbers which I had on email confirmations. In my original email I totaled all the missing items and it came to approximately $15. Corporate replied I should have called the store directly and included a $5 coupon and the store replied asking me what they could do to make it right. I replied that re-imbursing me for the missing items would be a start and that a $5 coupon was an insult when I said I was missing $15 worth of items. That was the last I heard from both corporate and the store despite writing them several times stating I had not heard back from them. Interestingly, the next order was also missing an item. I called the store directly and they actually answered. I told them I was again missing an item and he asked what my order number on the receipt was. When I read it to him I mentioned it the missing item had a star next to it on the receipt and he laughed and said that was a reminder to the staff not to forget an item. He then said he saw my item sitting by itself on an assembly table. He then told me if I came back during certain hours and asked for him he'd give me two of the items. Didn't solve the problem. Corporate also said the store could deliver the missing item but that was not offered to me and I was not driving back at night. Pressed, your system doesn't work and you need to do better! I'm also still waiting for my now $17 worth of missing items that you still owe me. What really has me irritated is writing me back and saying that's not how they want the experience to be and asking what they could do and then having them completely ghost me despite several emails. I have also given them plenty of time to respond. If you don't mind paying for things you won't receive it's a great place, otherwise save your money for someplace that actually will give you what you've paid for. read more

This cafe is the only place I've known in recent years that can do many things and be very good at all of them. I am not celiac, but I treat my intolerance like an allergy. So just keep that in mind. I don't think they have a dedicated fryer or area for gf. It's simultaneously a sit down experience, bar, full contact ordering, kiosk ordering, and drive thru coffee shop, juice pressery, and has a full HUGE amazing menu with interesting options. It has tastes for everyone for whatever mood you're in, and also accommodates gluten free, vegan & paleo diets. And the vibe in there is fresh and fun. Their wraps are giant (gluten free wraps are hard to find, let alone huge delicious ones), their coffee is as good as a specialty standalone shop, they've got To-go items and everything is customizable. The employees were friendly and personable (rare these days...I can say that as I used to work in the industry) and none of them seemed to be aggrieved at their job. It is a very well run machine. And they have good lemonade...not too sickly sweet. I got a middle eastern inspired wrap panini (I can't remember the name atm) that had chicken and all sorts of good stuff, subbed out the breaded eggplant for falafel (which is gf) and added pickled onions, side of the potato salad and extra side of the amla sauce, along with a lemonade that had mint added to it. So delicious. The thing was like 2 pounds. Yes I ate it all. Pumpkin pie decaf latte as well. Lemon blueberry bread was decent if you're used to gf/paleo things. And the ingredients seem to be very simple & genuinely "clean" for an operation of this size. I would say you're looking at approx $15-25 pp depending on what you get. Anyways I highly recommend this spot if you are gluten free and dairy free, and even people who aren't. You'll find something for everyone. I've been to at least 2 other Pressed locations, and I think about this place anytime I happen to be in NH. They're pretty consistent across the board in my experience. Very happy! read more

They have good things here .. what gets me upset and it's happened SO MANY TIMES is they forget to add things (that the charge for) I got a rainbow Acai bowl .. these bowls come with lots of fruit , kiwi being the star of the bowl . As usual, Pressed has provided a quick, fresh hot meal. Everytime we are heading there I say to myself "try something different today" but as soon as I see the menu I go back to my favorite item-the vegan Jaffa salad. It is the best salad around this area! The kale and romaine mix is always fresh and crispy-no matter the season. The Jaffa salad includes tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles and chick peas; but the best part is the Matbukha which is like a fermented tomato sauce/salsa. It is delicious!!!! It is served with their house made schug-a spicy cilantro paste. The vegan option includes Impossible patties. My husband got the vegan red dragon bowl which is served with roasted tofu and includes fresh pineapple and mushrooms as well as sautéed kale. Everyone is always friendly there. The only downside from this visit was that it was chilly a bit no matter where we sat-we moved twice. We could not avoid the blowers. But I wouldn't let this stop me from coming. We ordered lunch for a corporate event through the catering department. We had many missing items: napkins, utensils, sauces and sides. We also ordered pasta sides that were all replaced with salad sides. Sandwiches were ordered with names for easy distribution. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were labeled with abbreviations created by Pressed, illegible, making us open each item to identify what it was . It was embarrassing to us as we hosted a few customers during the event . I did call the catering manager to give feedback and the response was " next time we will do better" . This location is either hit or miss, depending on who is working and what I order. Some of their food makes me incredibly sick shortly after eating; while other menu items do not bother me but come out just being average, nothing great. Example: food isn't hot, panini's are burnt, chicken is tough, drinks are over-filled with ice when I request light ice, etc. I keep giving them a try thinking maybe this time will be different, but again today (6/7) I got sick immediately after having breakfast there, so I've re-learned my lesson and I'm going to move on from Pressed. read more

I've been to the location in Burlington a few times. I adore the Bridge panini. It is grilled chicken, mozzarella, pesto and a balsamic reduction on ciabatta then squished together into melty goodness. What could be bad? Pure perfection on bread. I drove by the Chelmsford location a few weeks ago and made a mental note to stop in. I drove by again today and needed dinner, so why not? The space is stunning. You walk in to a full on bar to the left where I could sit sipping on a smoothie or fresh juice for hours. Everything is painted this indigo/grey blue with pops of caramel browns. On the right are bunch of high tops that were populated with groups of teenagers. To the left are some tables in a cozy alcove. Keep walking to the back and there is a counter for ordering. I got my Bridge panini and a few other things. I was told my wait was going to be about 15 minutes. I made my way over to another alcove with some tables and chairs and what looked to be the perfect couches for taking a nap after indulging in some tea and cookies. The caramel accents follow through onto some mid century modern chairs. These were just right and I settled in for my wait. Less than ten minutes later, my name was being called. Before I could even get over to the counter, one of the workers actually brought my order over to me. I am walking with a cane so that bit of kindness is very much appreciated! I was out the door so quickly that it didn't register that I should have tipped. Manager at this Pressed location, you have assembled an amazing and thoughtful team. I'll be back soon if for nothing else than to leave an extra tip. Oh, and for one of those Spring Fling smoothies or an agua fresca. Notables: - There is a really nice patio with umbrellas. - They have a drive-through! I wonder if you can place an order online and pickup through the window or if you need to go inside? We had a very busy weekend volunteering for PMC in Sturbridge. As we returning to our home in Maine we started looking for a place for a lunch. We did not want to stop for fast food or a sit down restaurant. In my search Pressed Cafe popped up and the menu looked promising. What a WONDERFUL surprise with the perfect lunch, tasty sandwiches, potato salad reminiscent of a summer picnic, and finished with a chocolate chip cookie.
