    Crazy Falafel Bowl

Is this another slop bowl place, yes. Was it good. Also yes. Flavors were great. The counter staff is friendly. The restaurant was clean for a fast casual. Right next to the rail station. Perfect lunch spot for a quick meal before or after you take the transit. They made a fresh batch of falafel just for me so they would be warm and crisp. I suggest either going with all grains or all salad for a base or you'll end up with hot lettuce

Nice clean place with lots of seating. Food seemed healthy and bowls are customizable. Affordable prices. Many options like salad, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrot/cabbage slaw, lentils. I tried the lemon chicken bowl. An issue came up after eating part of my bowl & the servers were nice and empowered to rectify the problem.

When it comes to fast Greek food, Hungry Zus is often the best. One of my favourites is the Zus Thunderballs, which are flavoursome. The hot sauce and tzatziki went well with the beef and lamb meatballs; they all melded perfectly. The service is quick and friendly, and the ambiance is relaxing. Easy access to the Waterfront station is excellent for a quick bit before your lunch or evening event.

Delicious food and a great location right next to the train station! I ordered the crazy falafel bowl and it was delicious. As a vegetarian I always appreciate a falafel option. The bowl came with four which were very filling! All of the ingredients were fresh and looked appetizing. The space was nice and bright. And to top it off the utensils were bamboo and the bowl and napkins were compostable!

I am becoming a fan of this place. I've tried both of the vegetarian bowls on the menu, the goddess dill sweet potato bowl and the crazy falafel bowl. They were both really flavourful and I love that they come packed with lots of fresh vegetables. The sauces are amazing. The portion size is filling and it's good value. The bowls/wraps are very customizable; you can make substitutions off the standard menu items or just build your meal from scratch. There are lots of vegetarian combinations you can create, and it is possible to make a vegan meal even if the options are limited. There's also a big menu besides the bowls and wraps, I'm happy that the breakfast menu is available all day! They have some baked goods: cookies and muffins. I came one morning and got a muffin and wasn't really impressed (but in fairness I accidentally grabbed chocolate chip when I meant to get blueberry and I don't really like plain chocolate chip muffins). I like the cookies though, especially the turmeric cookie! For drinks, they do coffee/tea and "refreshers", which are like aguas frescas. I've tried a turmeric latte and the cucumber mint lime refresher. Both are good! The staff here is always really polite and they've created a nice environment to stay and enjoy your food.

This is the zucchini fries i had. Alot of ppl would call them zucchini sticks. There was just the right amount of tzatizki sauce too.

The food is awesome there. The service was great. They were friendly and quick with my order. I went there with a friend of mine. We had never been there before. So first time. We were really impressed with the price of food there. I had some zucchini fries. They were damn good. The atmosphere was nice too. I would recommend going to this place. It is on Granville Street. Apparently it opened in January. So it is only 6 months old.

Very good food. Like the shredded lamb and grill chicken. Sauces are just right. GF options. Will come again if we get a chance.

Definitely try to go at opening or when it is not busy, as the dine-in experience is memorable - they place your order in a long wooden board to make it a beautiful spread. We got the Manoush'eh Special which has ground beef, pomegranate, etc and Sham Style which is shaped like a boat. We also tried the yogurt drink which pairs well with the dishes. The only con is that this place does not have free water, but it is no problem to have our own water bottles supplementing the meal. We also got the lentil soup which is pretty good. Definitely sufficient to share one to try, but the Manoush'eh outshines the rest of the items. I loved the quality and texture of the Manoush'eh and just the breads in general. It is a lot of food for 2 people so if you want a snack, you can definitely just share 1. Some people go here for the wraps too. Overall, an affordable restaurant with good food. We got the most expensive items and it was less than 50 CAD all-in, but a lot of the items are around the 10 CAD mark.

Pleasantly surprised I was!…read more I was not expecting this much delightfulness in my mouth - Doner Stop rocked it for me! On a real whim moment - a friend I was going into town with was carrying on past this joint & said - hey you have to try this Doner - it's good. Oh why not - I said. I popped in & walked around checking out the setup & noticed the freshness & cleanliness right away. I like the decor as well - neat high tables & wood finishing. DS is still a baby - having just opened up 3 months ago. I met the boss & we chatted up a storm. He's a cool guy who's been in Vancouver for over 10 years - originally from Turkey! Ok - you had me at Turkey!!! He recommended the chicken Doner & wow oh wow did this taste of heaven go down or what. The tender halal chicken & Tabouli salad & ingredients as well as added sauces including hot sauce - Mama Mia!!! Heads up for anyone popping in over the next few weeks - the boss has plans for Kebabs & is strategizing how to work in a new grill etc etc. He's real excited about this venture & said I have to come back at the end of February when he hopes to have completed setting up. Sounds awesome - I will definitely be going back! Oh make sure that when you go to DS - show boss the picture of my Doner & tell him to grill it exactly like in the pic!!! You won't be disappointed!

The chicken doner was one of the best I had so far. It was flavorful on its own, with a slight crisp on the edges of the meat. It was not dry and was just right. I got to try several of the sauces and my favorite would be the garlic tzatziki and the cilantro. I didn't really like the doner sauce which was essentially ketchup, mayo and mustard. It was too rich for me. It is a self serve place, where you place the order and then wait to pick up the food. Feta cheese was extra cost which was not stated up front when the staff asked if I want it. That is a bit sneaky I feel.

I got their salad bowl with mixed meat (chicken, lamb, and beef). They have many salad options but if you don't specify which one you want, they will just give you their usual salad. I opted for their greek feta salad. They have a dine-in space but this place is mostly for take out. Their service was pretty fast and they were very busy (it's summer time in Vancouver so makes sense). Their menu is huge and they have lots to try from.
