This organization took a great experience for us (building our new retirement home in Dingmans…read moreFerry, PA) and turned it into a nightmare. The Contractor/Builder work was extremely inferior. There was absolutely no project management nor any supervision during our project, resulting in us, as the homeowners, having to create a punch list that was pages and pages long. We identified broken windows, never-tested appliances, dented brand new refrigerator, incomplete electrical panel labeling, no furnace filter, brackets and screws missing on our decks, multiple doors hung incorrectly, mis-aligned cabinets/fixtures, poorly caulked kitchen island and sinks, inoperable exhaust fans and light switches, badly spackled walls, missing fireplace molding, never-installed washer/dryer stack kit, non-working doorbell, paint stains on new flooring and kitchen cabinets. The list goes on and on. Bottom line: there was no Project Manager to supervise the work that was performed in our home. We were told many times that this organization's owner/project manager had other large project obligations. Not something we wanted to hear as it was evident our retirement home project was suffering. We mistakenly made our last project payment in good faith as the owner promised to remedy all remaining open items. Foolish on our part, for sure. He addressed a few items on our punch list and then went radio silent. Unfortunately, to date, we continue to find other problems in our new home, which we understand may be considered unsafe. My suggestion is to make sure you find a Contractor/Builder who is 100 percent dedicated to your project. And, that organization has someone on their team who is responsible for Quality Assurance. Or you will be the person creating an extensive punch list and crossing your fingers you will get 100 percent resolution to issues that never should have been on your punch list to begin with.
