I have been into several Hurricane Grill & Wings before, so the fact that they have good food, especially wings, and drinks, is not something unexpected, but I had not been to this specific location. We had a large group so we sat outside, and nothing could have been motlre perfect. Several royal palm trees created a beautiful canopy, and weather being pleasant, it created an amazing ambiance. The server did a great job dealing with a large crowd and everything proceeded without any complications. If I am ever in that neighborhood again, I wouldn't mind going back there again for more wings and beer. read more

I gave 4 stars because of the server and ambiance. She was great, polite, friendly and attentive. Just awesome. Unfortunately, the food not so much. The wings were freezer burnt and the fish tacos were not my fave. It was cole slaw with a nice piece of blackened mahi mahi but it should have been put together better. You know honestly, this is one place that we love to come for a wing Wednesday every now and then and the Wednesday before the Super Bowl the server disregarded the information that the half price wings deal was off for that week even though it wasn't even the night of the Super Bowl. Got a nice surprise with the bill which is normally one of the only places you can eat for two under 50 but not anymore because I won't return after this sneaky snare. Because honest I don't care about paying the bill it just felt very sneaky and dishonest to rack up the bill in fear that we would spend less if it wasn't the deal. I took advantage of the Tuesday .79 cents wing special when I was here for lunch a few weeks ago. It was a nice surprise to see a wing deal as wings are no longer an inexpensive item served in restaurants. I only wanted five wings, but ten was the minimum to qualify for the wing deal. I ordered ten, ate five, and I didn't bother to take home the rest of them because they weren't that good. The pickle appetizer was tasty but not cooked properly as several were stuck together. I wouldn't order them again. The medium garlic sauce was good, but the wings were just ok. I wouldn't oder them again. They upcharge for everything, which is fine, but it would have been nice to be informed of the charges prior to receiving the check. Some upcharges were justified, but some weren't. For example, the pickles came with a spicy sauce, and I requested ranch as a replacement. The server forgot and brought out the wrong one. I reminded her that I substituted ranch, so I wound up with two sauces, I don't think this was my fault, but whatever. I was charged for blue cheese and celery, which is fair. However, the celery wasn't fresh, as you can see the brown spots in my picture. When I asked for some new celery, I was informed that's all that they have. The server admitted it didn't look fresh, yet I was still charged. There were several servers, and from the time I sat down to the time I left, they were chatting amongst themselves, sitting at a table. They would get up and do something for one of their tables, but then they would go right back to chatting and playing on their phones. I think there are so many better places around if you want wings. I always say you get what you pay for, and I would rather spend more money and eat in a restaurant that has better food and service. read more

Trying to get in for lunch anywhere in Boynton on a Sunday is a 50-50 shot. Trying to do it at a place that has TV's when there's a Dolphin game on lowers your odds significantly. Bringing a dog along to look for outdoor seating on a relatively comfortable November day almost guarantees a shutout, but somehow we managed to find a table... We both chose a cold Corona as our opening act, and then the lovely Spensyr went for Fish & Chips, while I decided to try a new seasonal special called Buffalo Pork Ribs. The Fish was spot on, crisp batter coating without being too thick and tasty flaky fish. Chips were so-so. Generic frozen fries that an upgrade to garlic parm couldn't save. The Cole Slaw accompanying the dish was also so-so. Crispy veg to be be sure but no flavor. My ribs were a bit of a letdown. Anything called Buffalo should be hot, or at least a little spicy? These were neither, and the tiny amount of bleu cheese dotted around the plate made it seem more like a garnish than part of the plate. $15 bucks for 4 ribs is pretty close to highway robbery but no sides? They could have at least kissed me before I got screwed. At least the beer was cold... read more

This place is the worst. The food was terrible and so was the service. Was there tonight at 6.30pm. Very few people there. Ordered wings and nachos. Wings were under cooked and the nachos were soggy and just terrible. We were never given silverware and they got the one drink we ordered wrong. Not going back ever again. Tonight we had the worse service ever and we go there quite frequently. It was not busy. There was more staff then tables and still poor service. The manager was nonchalant when I addressed it with him. Food is improving since it's hit and miss sometimes . We waited a while to be served I had to ask twice if we had a waitress. I to go find someone to pay. I rarely write a review especially of this nature but tonigjt was awful and mainly becuase of the service. We ordered the steak special and it was good. I'm really sad to be updating this rating on here. Since the pandemic, we've switched to take out. However, no matter how many chances I give, they seem to mess up the order somehow. Whether I call it in or do an online order. The last 3 times they have always forgotten something on an item or forgotten part of my order altogether. I've had to specifically open and check each item now to make sure they are in there... What if I had delivery? Not to say that they don't refund the missing thing... That's great.. But I wish my order wasn't messed up in the first place. The quality of the food has gone down as well. Maybe they are now busy doing these? But it feels like there's zero care about how the food is packed and given to me. Not sure when I'll be coming back (not like they care, I imagine they get enough business without me).. Ok I dropped rating to 1 star. Although the food and service Is fine. Tonight they let two people come an play pool inside without masks. FL is currently running over 10% COVID-19. On the door in 3 languages that facing coverings are required but no one in management stopped them nor did any of the staff. Couldn't wolf down our food fast enough to get up and leave. We have been coming most Friday nights, set inside as we feel about as safe as it gets when eating out. Most want outside so limited customers inside. So if don't want to enforce your rules just rip the signs off the doors and let stupid idiots do whatever. Want our business then enforce your own rules. Better idea is fire the management on tonight 1/15 tell the rest to say something if a customer comes in without a mask. I like your wings but not enough to die for them. I'll be looking for other place have my wings that enforce masks inside when they have a sign posted. To bad I just hope no one gets sick or dies as I guess people still don't understand those key words asymptomatic mean you are not showing signs of being sick and that is why masks are important. Just ask the guy the news who spend 200plus days in the hospital and lost over 100 lbs what is it like and how important being safe is. Spouse and I went last 5 months ago. Music was tooooo loud to enjoy, and the waitress said it COULD NOT be lowered. 3 stars is prob just right. Service was friendly from one of the waitresses but the hostess was unsure about take-out service. The waitress I went up to after that finally helped. I ordered a drink at the bar (Moscow Mule) and it was nothing but ice and vodka. And when he served it he forgot the lime slice so he literally tried to throw it in the glass and missed and I had to pick it up off the bar. The vibe seems cool outside but sure if I'd be back after this experience. The wings were good. I went with half Jamaican Jerk and half Boss. It's your regular sports bar like the ale house or Bru's Room...I will have to try one of those next. I don't think I'll be back here. read more

This place can not seem to get it together. Last 3 orders they have missed items. After the 3rd time in a row I finally decided to call and say something since I personally pick up my orders and asked the women manager if everything was in the bag and she verified that everything was correct. However after I came home same thing still missing items that I ordered. The manager did not care or offer anything other than I am sorry. With prices being jacked up the least they can do is guarantee what you paid for is in the bag. read more

While their menu clearly states that Yuengling beer is $3 for their "all day every day happy hour" they charged $4 per glass. I believe they can only charge what is on THEIR menu. First, insteresting approach to the covid crisis. One bartender was masked, super attentive, friendly. He appeared to be the main bartender. The other bartender on shift wore her mask on her chin. She was sloppy, laid her head on the bar and appeared either drunk or high. It was actually embarrasing to watch her interact with the customers. The rest of the staff acted like , well, thats just her. If you have covid practices in place, have all the staff follow the procedure or why bother? On to the food. We ordered the Baha fish tacos and the Korean BBQ tacos to share. The tacos were exellent. Both portions were well balanced with meat and slaw and the order came with two tacos that were good sized. The fish was cooked perfectly and came in ample proportions. Both versions were a bit messy but who cares when they taste that good. We couldn't decide which taco we liked better. Since we ordered the tacos, we missed out on the wings. However, I was very impressed with the bartender who offered sauce suggestions to the couple seated next to us when they had wings left over but needed more sauce. He highly recoommended the Thai sauce and the couple both agreed it was the best flavor. Sorry no photos, we were hungry! read more

We had been to the Lake Worth location before and our experience there was very mediocre and when we saw that this Boynton location was opening up, we were kind of leery on trying HG&W again. Tonight, on a Saturday evening after 7pm, we decided to give them a second chance seeing as how they're at a different location and yes, granted, they're still new. We came in around 7pm and were told that it'd be a 25-30 minute wait which was fine as it was a very nice breezy evening to wait on a bench outside. The greeters are very nice ladies and one guided us to our table. The interiors are very spacious, much more spacious than the Lake Worth location. It was almost as if you could fit in some more extra tables in there, but it was actually nice not feeling crammed and placed so close to another party's table. Our server was a nice and prompt gentleman who had our orders correct and on time. My husband had their Applewood Smoked Bacon & Cheese burger and it was perfectly cooked well-done as many places can't get it right on the first attempt without charring it! He said he would order this again. I had one of the Fiesta flavors: the Shrimp BLT Quesadilla with their Dynamite Sauce (my request). It was surprisingly delicious. However, now that I am home, my stomach has begun to rumble. I think it may have been the somewhat excessive breading on the shrimp or the peppered mayo. But I think I will be alright. It won't stop me from trying HG&W again for something else. I am just glad that East Boynton Beach finally has another awesome restaurant to choose from and it is almost a great substitution for Buffalo Wild Wings... only that they have a very excessive list of wing sauces to try! lol read more
