First time at Texas Roadhouse after hearing wonderful things about it and I was very happy! Service was amazing, everyone was nice and very attentive. The restaurant was fully decorated in a rodeo vibe and the servers even did their dance halfway through dinner lol. And they do not lie, those rolls are amazing!! Hot, buttery, fluffy, and hot off the oven. We couldn't have enough!! We ordered the grilled shrimp appetizer and it was delicious. They were perfectly cooked and juicy and the butter they came with was out of this world!! We kept the small container and drizzled it on top of our stakes which took them to the next level. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and cooked to the preferred doneness. Very flavorful and great portions. We had those with the stake fries and caesar salad which were both good as well. The food is not high end steakhouse quality but for the price point, it's good. The prime rib can at times be slightly fatty but has good flavor and not all steakhouses offer it. Prime rib is limited so come early or call ahead if you want the rare/med rare. So why the 3 star review? This is more directed towards corporate. My wife and I won a 'dinner for 2' during a promo they were running over the holidays. When we came to redeem it, we found out it was actually only $30 off our bill. Even the manager was understandably annoyed that they call $30 off a 'dinner for 2' when most entrees on the menu are around $30. He said they haven't changed the amount in 20 years..... umm inflation!!! Look, this is all about setting expectations. Had we been told you won a $30 rebate off our next check, we would have been happy but that is vastly different than telling someone they won dinner for 2 where the average bill is around $80 and then telling them you're only getting $30 taken off the bill. However, this was my first time eating there as I had been vegan and vegetarian for years and recently added chicken back into my diet. Here's the rundown: - the rolls are heavenly, no doubt about it - free peanuts? love! - the herb crusted chicken - phenomenal! - the baked potato - wayyy too much butter and why is the skin coated in salt ?? unnecessary - the green beans - they should really put on the menu that there's bacon in them. This is our neighborhood steak house. They consistently serve a fantastic prime rib here which not a lot of restaurants have on the menu much less do well. I think some of the best tasting steak for the price. My son and I stopped in on a Friday night. Restaurant was packed. 30 minute wait. They offered us an outside table, no wait and a free appetizer. So of course we sat outside. We got the free potato skins, very good. Plus the free peanuts. Our outside waitress was awesome. Very nice. My love and I went out for an early dinner date, and since neither of us had been to Texas Roadhouse in awhile, this is where we ended up. We probably waited for 15 minutes before we were seated at 7 p.m. Our server was Mel, who was fantastic. Their bread is delicious, and post-2020 they no longer serve peanuts in a bucket. Instead, they give you a bag of peanuts. My parents love this because it means a snack for them. The fried pickles were really salty, but they had a good crunch to them. So I never went to a Texas Roadhouse growing up. I forget why one night I decided that we should go there, but I did. I was pleasantly surprised on how nice the staff was. We were quickly seated, and I quickly realized how great this place was for children. First of all, it is a little bit loud so your kids can be a little bit loud too. On Tuesdays, they have a magician and a mascot walking around. When you are seated, they immediately put bread down. Which if you have children, you know it's great when they have something to occupy them quickly. The bread is fantastic by the way. They have a pretty big kids menu and it even has steak on it which is my son's favorite. I always get the filet with broccoli and a side salad. Their dressing on the salad is delicious and their cheese is freshly shredded. Their broccoli is so good. And the flavor taste as good as the fancy steakhouse steaks. While we had a mostly good experience when we visited on Saturday, I unfortunately have to leave a negative review. We came in on the Saturday before Mother's Day to celebrate early, with a party of seven. We were seated promptly in the back near the restrooms and had a lovely and attentive waitress, (whom I wish I could recall her name). All of our food came out in a timely manner and was just fine (though my boyfriend found his burger and fries a bit too salty). The issue lies with restroom processes. My boyfriend went to use the restroom shortly after receiving his burger, and came back to say he witnessed not one, but three male restaurant employees leave the facilities without washing their hands. One of which had dropped off some of our plates. That's absolutely disgusting, and left us feeling violated and with a loss of appetite. Please wash your hands when using the facilities. Even if you yourself do not enter a stall, the surfaces are covered in unseen bacteria that also lingers in the air. As a former server, this is unacceptable. The only reason I didn't speak to a manager is because I didn't want any sort of scene that might sour an otherwise pleasant experience for my mother and grandmother. Do better. read more

I was told yes as long as you've checked in before six you will be OK. I rushed to the restaurant got there at 10 to 6. My name was on the waitlist but they told me that I wouldn't be able to be seated for 5 to 10 minutes. I said that's fine. I'll still be able to order the early time and she said no you have to place your order and have it in the system before six. Probably the worst Texas Roadhouse I've ever been to. Started off with asking bartender the price of a Bud light draft and she told us somewhere between $5.75 and $9.00. Found out it's $5.75. Ordered a 6 oz New York strip and got a piece of grizzle and fat. They replaced it, but by that time I ate my sides and wasn't hungry anymore. The person I was dining with was using a corporate card so asked for their alcohol and food on separate checks. They received two checks, but server rang up both on the corporate card. It's noisy and not fancy or pretentious. The food itself is not spectacular. We started with one of their fried onions. I can't remember what it's called. It was fine enough then we all had a combo of filet mignon and ribs. The ribs honestly were kind of dry not great but not terrible. The fillet was all right. I had mac & cheese and loaded mashed potatoes. Both were fine. We had french fries broccoli corn. Everything just fine for the price. Was so looking forward to the Filet Steak with mixed salad tonight at Texas Roadhouse. Upon scanning the menu on their website the dish looked so inviting and went tonight. The service and ambience there is terrific , from the front desk to the table. As we were seated we were provided with hot rolls with Cinnamin butter and were delicious. We placed our order with Melo a terrific waitress that always was checking on us, the meals were delivered in a timely fashion. My wife had the 8oz Sirloin with baked potato and steamed vegetables looked delicious, my filet salad with mixed greens ,blue chesse, cherry tomatoes and filet chunks , the salad was delicious but the filet served looked nothing like the steak on the website, which were generous slices of filet cooked to a mouth watering medium rare. I showed our waitress the website picture of the salad and seemed concerned, she informed the manager about this and he responded and thanking me for bringing this to his attention, just disappointed that I didn't get what was advertised. My wife and I met another couple for dinner tonight at the roadhouse. The wait time was about 50 mins. Very busy. The hostess at the door had everything in control. When we sat we order our drinks and dinner at the same time. Which turned out to be an excellent choice. The wait staff was quick and responsive. Very excited atmosphere. But if I had to choose between a steak and a baked potato to not be cooked perfect I would choose the baked potato. Overall A-+. My wife enjoyed the 12oz prime rib. With same sides as mine. We finally sat down and we're given our bread with cinnamon butter right away. We ate those then met our waitress who seemed very nice. We ordered a cactus bloom and fried pickles. They came and I can assure you, the bloom isn't as good as a blooming onion and trust me I'm no fan of the outback either. The fired pickles were ok but they use a horse radish sauce and not a sweet one. We got our salads and then we got our meal. I ordered the 16oz rib eye. My wife got a New York strip and my mom got a strip as well. My steak was ok. Missing flavor. Sweet potato was burnt. My wife's steak was ok. Little more softer then mine. We were surprisingly pleased with our lunch today -- the overall experience, the service, and the food plus the ridiculously low price made this a "yes, we will be back". We were going to the Boynton mall and needed someplace close to eat first. This came up in the app as a suggestion. We had great and friendly service from Erin (sp?). They had their "early dine" menu (as well as their full regular menu) available. Items on the special menu were only $9.99 until 3 pm -- and include two sides, as well. We both ordered their six-ounce sirloin steak. We both got their mashed potatoes and green beans as our sides. We'd ordered our steaks Pittsburgh blackened. Mine was a tad too bloody rare inside and they easily took it back to throw on the fire a tad more. Meanwhile I enjoyed their smoky green beans flavored with bacon, onions and garlic. So good. The mashed potatoes had personality, too, with a bit more black pepper in them than I usually use. I had opted for some brown gravy (on the side) and that tempered the pepper. When the manager brought my (now) perfectly cooked steak back to me, he even offered to get me some new "hot" sides. I declined, but wasn't that super service? The guy a few seats over from us at the bar was really enjoying his burger (and fries) -- also a good deal from the regular menu. The steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them, medium rare. The atmosphere was excellent. It can get a little loud when they're busy, but that's expected at a restaurant like Texas Roadhouse, which is exactly why you go there other than for their delicious steaks and rolls.
