The service was amazing. John the bartender is super friendly and knowledgeable. The Old Fashioned with That Tea is a game changer! Katie was also wonderful. Knowledgeable about the menu and great personality. We started with Pesto alla Genovese and a crab cake. Both were yummy. I ordered the Hangar Steak and my hubby got the burger. The rodeo sauce was amazing. I was dipping my steak and French fries in it! The fries which are cooked in beef tallow were incredible!!! My friends enjoyed their steak tartare and they also loved the burger. It's not a cheap meal but I highly recommend it. Looking forward to trying the late night hot dog with those amazing fries!

We've had breakfast and dinner at second rodeo and both are great meals. They have a small menu but it's really well done. The place has a very intimate space and the servers are really nice. They also make great craft cocktails.

Local, speakeasy-vibe bar in an unassuming plaza on Ocean Ave... you wouldn't know it was there unless you were looking for it. We popped in for a last drink of the night and were lucky to snag on of only three coveted two tops. The cocktails were... craft; made with high quality ingredients and artfully done by the skilled mixologists behind the bar. We didn't stay for dinner, so can't comment on the food. My only hesitation in 5 stars is that it does seem a tad overpriced for the area. We love when quality establishments come local and know that comes with a cost, but will save our visits for special occasions.

Ah mazing the burger here is one of the best burgers I've had (dare I say, in my life!). The Rodeo Ice cocktail is your creamsicle dreams come true! I will absolutely be back to taste test all of their craft cocktails & for the good vibes! Love the green business initiatives and lifestyle they support too!

Five words. Absolute hole in the wall. From walking inside; to the experience itself. It's insane more people aren't talking about it! I had no expectations. My friend told me their burger was a hit, so I came to see it for myself. John was taking care of me and my friend at the bar. The cocktail menu is a real pleasure to read through from a tequila forward bar to frozen drinks there's not a single cocktail that looks just thrown on there. In honor of Cowboy Bebop I first tried the Space Cowboy, which is kinda what it sounds like; out of this world. Passion fruit, Mezcal with a subtle note of spice added from the Dijon in the drink. They chill it to perfect point of being a frozen drink which added some fun into their caliber. Balanced and yet bold. Bar top looked fun n deco. Believe it or not; it's a chill cafe during the day and a disco ball experience at night. From sun up to sun down there goal is to make it a great hangout for locals and anyone who wanders in. To start off I got the Foie Gras and grilled baby bok choy which both were done so well. The Foie Gras, on top of the presentation, danced on my tongue with a subtle Smoke flavor given from their wood fire grill and a nice nuttiness from the peanut whip they paired it with. The pork belly bok choy had a perfect crunch from the green, and the pork belly just came in like big brother and added a dynamic of softness from the fat that you just can't beat. I landed on choosing their blood orange & ginger mocktail while I waited for my burger. Ginger candy cold foam was phenomenal. Unexpected 10/10. The burger though I'd say was a nice cherry on top that needed no introduction. My friend certainly delivered on a good burger joint. Wonderful sauce and beautiful char. Lastly I had the cookies n cream which is made fresh to order. Biscoff butter ice cream and cc cookie was certainly the best way to end off this evening. The goal of course with any menu is to not be a gloater but a shower and they have certainly done just that. You'll never know by outside looks alone until you try it but this place is a wallflower and an amazing time. Good job to the kitchen staff there and excellent job to whoever designed this experience. You made somebody's night.

Bad experience. The high price combined the low quality of the food make this place a bad choice. Plus the slow service.

We started with an Old Fashioned, and there's just something about their cocktails that makes the whole experience feel so elevated. We had to try some of their new appetizers, and every single one was amazing. The Japanese A5 Wagyu Cube was incredibly tender and flavorful, the crispy potato with crème fraîche, chives and Ossetra caviar was the perfect little bite, and the smoked tuna tartare was fresh, smoky and delicious. I love that you get to pick out your own knife for the meal. Such a fun little detail that makes dinner feel like an experience from the start. We shared the ribeye with all three sauces, Peppercorn, Red Condimento and Chimichurri, and loved every one. We paired it with the creamed spinach, duck confit mac and cheese and truffle Provençal fries. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly done! My husband tried the Pussy Galore after dinner drink, and we finished with the Heath and Chocolate Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream and coffee chocolate ganache. The perfect ending! What I love most about Nicholson Muir is that you're not just coming to eat. You're coming for the experience, the little details, and a few hours to slow down, reconnect, and simply enjoy being together.

The service is friendly and attentive - the dishes were bused quickly and the silverware was replaced after the first course, which I really appreciate. This is very quaint little restaurant, but I've never felt cramped. The food is great and they've got a large enough menu to have plenty of options without being overwhelming. Can't go wrong here.

The place is tucked away and low key on purpose, but once you step inside, it's like entering another world. A magical land where cocktails reign supreme and Vincent is the all-powerful sorcerer behind the bar. There's no menu here... and there doesn't need to be. You simply tell Vincent what you're craving, and he conjures it with a flick of the wrist, a dash of bitters, and probably some ancient incantation whispered under his breath. I had three... maybe four drinks (time works differently in magical places), and each one was flawless. Complex yet balanced, bold yet smooth... true potions of happiness. If you're lucky enough to find yourself in this enchanted hideaway on the one night a week it's open, let Vincent work his craft. Just know you'll leave spellbound... and in my case, headed straight to bed, because even wizards can't save a 40-year-old from an early bedtime after a few too many old fashioneds.

Banana Boat -- Boynton Beach (3 stars) Surf & Turf Nachos…read more-- $21 -- "The Mirage Nacho" I only review nachos. That's the whole thing. So I can't tell you about the waterfront, the 40-plus years Banana Boat's been serving Boynton, or the rest of the menu, which, for the record, looked legitimate. I'm here for one plate. The Surf & Turf Nacho sounds incredible on the menu. Filet mignon and shrimp. That's how they get you to $21, and I paid it. Here's what showed up. The filet retired its number after only a few appearances. On a $21 surf-and-turf nacho, the turf scored early and then vanished like a witness in a mob movie. The shrimp came in bigger numbers but arrived whole and uncut, and nobody in that kitchen asked the one question that matters: how does a whole shrimp sit on a nacho chip? It doesn't. It sits on top looking decorative while the chip underneath has an identity crisis. And where would this be without mentioning my old nemesis. Beans. They don't belong on nachos. Ever. If you're using them, you're just trying to make the plate bigger. Maybe you need a big lifted truck too. This isn't a surf-and-turf nacho. It's a nice thought. A dish designed to impress on paper, justify a price, and get photographed; Not to really be eaten as a nacho. It was also a small portion overall. I finished it, but that's not the achievement it sounds like. Finishing a $21 nacho because there wasn't much of it is not a win. It's literally the complaint. Credit where it's due, because I'm not here just to swing: * The queso was actually melted. After a long run of unmelted shredded-cheese disasters around here, that matters. * The guacamole was generous and well made. * It arrived hot, eight minutes out. That counts. * The flavor was genuinely decent. Everything present tasted fine. The problem was what was present, and how little of it there was. The Fork Rule was violated immediately. Rectangular plate, whole shrimp, oversized store-bought chips, everything arranged for the camera. This was never getting eaten with your hands, which means it was never really a nacho. Verdict: 5/10 -- The Mirage Nacho. It looked great on the menu. It tasted decent on the plate. It just wasn't a nacho. The flavor is the only thing keeping it out of the basement. Order it if you want a pretty $21 appetizer. Don't order it expecting nachos. -Florida Nacho Man
