The donuts are always tasty and the service is friendly. The vibe is also pretty cool. They participate in Too Good, a program to fight food waste!

We love these donuts In bring my grandbabies here when i'm in town. They love picking out a specialty donut of their choice . Mt favorite is the old fashioned by far !!!

This place has its own special take on donuts. They have all the flavors that you'd expect but the dough they use tends to be richer and creamier than other places. That's what sets them apart. Their donuts are also thicker and more filling. We went on Sunday and it was easy in and out. This is a nice addition to the donut selection in the area. I recommend as a good alternative for donuts.

This is a really fun donut shop. They have a really entertaining vibe and the employee I talked to was super friendly and nice. My rating is middle of the road because they're a little on the pricey side and I'm personally not a fan of donuts that are covered in a ton of frosting, candy, etc. The donuts themselves were really good, but for me the extra stuff is a distraction. I'm sure other people (especially little kids) really enjoy that kind of stuff, but it's not for me.

This donut shop is so good it HURTS!!!! Lol!! I've always wanted to say that. Seriously, this donut chain makes really freaking good donuts!! Never heard about Hurts Donuts before our local friends took us here on our most recent trip to Colorado. As far as I know, there are no Hurts Donut Company stores in California. Once you step foot inside their doors, you know that this is not your local Mom and Pop donut shop. It is so colorful, large, and clean inside. Love the clever decor all over the place! It's cool that you can see where they make their yummy donuts too. Those display cases of theirs are filled with mouthwatering looking donuts!! They have all the classics plus a bunch of others that you won't see in most local shops. Everything looked great!!! We bought an assorted dozen donuts for the 5 of us to share. Brought them to the house to enjoy later and enjoy we did! We sliced all the donuts and shared everything. What were my favorites? The Cookie Monster donut was creative and delicious. The Jesus donut is another favorite. Might just be the cool name, but it does taste good! The Bavarian Cream filled would have to be my favorite donut at Hurts right now. There are so many other donuts that I wish to try. Probably a good thing that there is not a Hurts Donuts shop in my hometown because my sugar level would be sky high! For now, I can only enjoy Hurts Donuts whenever we visit are fantastic friends in Colorado.

They delivered donuts to my doorstep for my boyfriend's birthday and it was wonderful. They were prompt and the donuts were delicious! My only gripe is that they don't have any gluten-free donuts (which doesn't take away a star by any means), but it just sucks that those like myself who are gluten-intolerant aren't able to enjoy the yummy looking donuts. Boyfriend and neighbors thoroughly enjoyed them though! I took a small bite from the cake donut that looked like a samoa cookie, and will say that while very good, it's very sweet--but that's a donut for ya!

Old Fashioned, blueberry streusel, fruity pebbles, Bavarian cream

Hurts Donuts had a great selection of classic and specialty donuts. The donuts were sooooo good! We got a hodgepodge of donuts - Old fashioned, blueberry streusel, fruity pebbles, and bavarian cream. I'm so basic - the old fashioned donut was my favorite mmmm mmmm. They were all really good though...can't wait to return for the apple fritter. It was gigantic!!! Tip: They offer a 10% military discount according to the sign at the register.

Incredible service. I requested a donut from the Memorial Day weekend and Anna offered to make it for us even though it wasn't available any longer. Incredible service and people like Anna make a customer like me continue to come here. Also incredible donuts!

We came here alittle after 11pm on a Saturday night because we were craving something sweet. Because it's October we decided to wear our onsies. We got a half dozen and milk. Even though it's late they still had plenty of donut options, most were cake donuts left. Which was perfect for us because that's what we love! No line or wait and the guy helped us quickly! The donuts tasted great, so moist and sweet. They are known for the massive size and the non-cake donuts were large for sure. We'd come back.

it's good, the prices are high, though. Probably a once a year type of thing. Too expensive for frequent visits

Donuts are always great - very tasty. Service can sometimes be spotty but it's usually because they are so busy!! Nice bright location

Good donuts, although like a lot of donut shops, they tend to go overboard with all the fancy stuff and crazy toppings.

Ask the Community - Hurts Donuts

Is there dine-in or only take-out?

Do they have a day when they make gluten free?

Are these cake donuts? Looking for a good donut place with cake donuts not air filled donuts.

They have both and they are both good.

Is there any way to see a listing/menu of all the various donuts and toppings Hurts serve? I can't find one on their website.

They don't have one in store either. They sell their packs similar to Voodoo Doughnuts in Denver. They have many various flavors. It is also more expensive if you chose your own flavor dozen pack. My suggestion is to call to see what they made that…

We sat down and waited at least 15 mins before a server acknowledged our presence. Then another few mins until he took our mimosa orders, then another 10 or more until they arrived. Waaaayyy too long for initial drinks at ANY restaurant! We ordered food as soon as our drinks hit the table (~30 mins after being seated), and enjoyed out drinks for quite some time until realizing it was AFTER 12pm and no sight of our food or waiter and the place was about half empty at that point. A manager finally came by to apologize for the delay, but didn't offer to comp our drinks or food or anything! Another 10mins or so later and we finally got our food. The Smoked Salmon Benedict was very very smoky flavored and I even ordered the salmon separate by from the actual benedict part of the dish as a precaution, but the smoke flavor overtook the entire dish. For $19, it had no hash browns included, and I wasn't paying $6 more for fried potato strings. My daughter had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and both were absolutely phenomenal! The pumpkin bread French toast was just pumpkin bread with whipped cream and caramel drizzle, not real French toast with pumpkin spun into it. Not impressive. Overall, the staff was very nice and the dining areas super cute, but the prices and wait time and lack of management correction make this a place I likely won't be trying again anytime soon.

Coming from SoCal, we have a lot of really good donut shops, so I'll admit... I'm a bit of a donut snob lol. I can definitely tell when oil is old, donuts aren't fresh, or when the texture of raised and cake donuts is off. Everything here was seriously so good. I got the breakfast flight, and it was AMAZING. The banana coffee was delicious, and I honestly didn't expect to love the everything bagel donut as much as I did! I also tried a few other donuts, and the lavender donut was the bomb.com -- perfectly balanced floral and sweet without being overpowering. The pretzel chocolate donut was incredible too. Not only was the food amazing, but the shop itself is so cute and has such a welcoming vibe. You can really tell how much love and care goes into everything. This adorable little couple-run donut shop is absolutely worth all the Instagram hype. I almost fan-girled and told them I'd been following them forever on IG lol, but didn't want to come off weird I'll probably be making another stop there on Wednesday before heading back to SoCal!
