I think I found my new favorite nail salon! It's not like the typical super busy and compact nail salon. When I got in it didn't feel rushed, they saw me right away, which is rare. My nail tech was Manana and she was so insanely thorough and detailed with my nails. She was open to all of my suggestions and I could tell she was a perfectionist which I loved. The receptionist made sure that I was happy with my chrome color and nail color. I just appreciated the overall vibe of the salon. Usually when I get my cuticles cut at a nail salon it's always painful and I don't know what type of magic Manana does, but it was not painful at all and I feel like she pushed it back a good amount. Everything about this experience was 10 out of 10! Will be back! read more

Been coming here for almost a year now and all i can say is i love it , becca is such a sweetheart always welcoming myself and everyone with a smile on her face she's so sweet and kind, anet is the besttttt nail tech not once have my nails broke or chipped i can go up to 7+ weeks without doing my nails and it will still last me without any problems she's also so welcoming and always makes sure my nails look the way i want it to look and even asks me multiple times if their is something i don't like or she needs to fix all i can say is if you want your nails to look good and last long anet is the one . if i can give them 10 stars i would ! read more

Had a relaxing time with Zoe with a regular mani pedi in time for a double wedding weekend. My nails look and feel great! I brought my own polish because it matches with the dresses I'm wearing to the events and the tech was fine with it. Complimentary drinks, full chairs with foot soak, great music, and my service was carefully done. Paid via zelle which is preferred for me over cash. Will definitely come back as taking care of my feet is harder now being pregnant. read more

I went back today and may I say WOW my cuticles have never been so clean! ARPA did my nails , she an amazing technician. Such a sweetheart, she really knew how to carry on a conversation she has been doing nails for 15 years!! Solid place, with great color selection. Everything is clean and modern looking. Polish app was neither good nor bad, I felt like it stayed for about a week before it started to lift which is not normal for gel but finding a good place in LA that doesn't charge $85 for a gel mani is next to impossible. The nail tech made my cuticles bleed in two areas and made the other fingers really tender for about 2 days. I've never had that happen before. I'd give them another chance and come back for another tech for sure if I'm in the area again. read more

Don't go if you are brown!!! This is a high school of nail salons!!! Run!!!! Please run!!! Deposits and bad service!!! Lol!!!! There was several conversations besides this one with management, but no apology was giving. No call back when I tried to make a pedicure appointment with the nail tech who was great!!! I had such a wonderful experience with hush beauty bar. I had acrylics and gel pedicure Berenice did my acrylics and zee did my pedicure both were so talented and were very very detailed with everything that i had asked to be done. I have never loved my nails nor pedicure so much before. I have found my forever nail salon. Stay far away! This place requires "deposits" before every single appointment and then refuses to refund them even if you are cancelling weeks in advance and for good reason (not that any reason should be required). Also, I was never informed until today that the deposit is non-refundable. Not in a single of the many text messages where a "deposit" was requested. Not one. The owner claims this is allowed because the information is posted on their website (I found them on Yelp), social media (which I do not have), and a small sign in the corner of their salon. For what it is worth, that does not make something enforceable. Shady people. read more

My review has been long overdue! First, let me start by saying how it was a breeze booking an appointment at the salon. I love the fact that the staff speaks English which makes it easy to communicate. Everyone is always super nice, and they always go out of their way to make sure I am satisfied with my nails. The manager is always on top of everything and she always checks in with me to see if I have any questions or would like a bottle of water, etc. This time I took my mom with me so that we both can get a mani and pedi together, and I couldn't have been happier! Caroline did an amazing job with my nails and Slava did my pedicure. Both were very attentive and made sure I was satisfied with their work. Berenice was so calm, polite and kind and since it was my first time doing GelX she explained everything and answered all my questions patiently . I went here for a set of GelX nails and called for an appointment and was able to be seen same-day. The salon is beautiful. They offered me champagne, water, or coffee and showed me all the shapes available for GelX, which I really appreciated. Caroline did my nails and did a fantastic job. She was really thorough and gentle and I loved how they turned out. The service was great and the price was very well worth it! The parking lot was very busy so I did have to park on the street but it was not at all far from the salon. I highly recommend going here! read more

I am so obsessed with this place. Let's start with how beautiful this salon is, as soon as you walk in you can tell you're gonna get a great service. They always make you feel so welcome and comfortable. I've gotten my nails done by Bernice every time and she has always done an amazing job, not one time I walked out not obsessing over how perfect my nails look, and they don't only look great but they don't ever break or get damaged. I haven't had the opportunity to get my nails done by the other nail techs but I've seen their work and they are all amazing at what they do. Scheduling an appointment over the phone was pretty easy and requires a deposit to book. I scheduled an appt based off their French Tip photos. I've been getting french tips for 10+ years. The lady who did my mani shaped my nails & polished very nicely. Two ladies helped with my pedi. The overall experience, Staff were friendly but the nail filing for both were pretty rough and polish seems to chip pretty easily. I've only had these nails for a week and I expected them to last a bit longer because I normally get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and I've never had my nails look like this so soon. I do love that they take their time but I don't think I will be returning based off my nail experience. read more

After viewing Yelp reviews, several cleints recommended San at this nail salon. Victoria, the receptionist, was not familiar with her name, but suggested Hy. On the morning of my appointment at 10am, I received a TEXT at 9:36am that Hy was 'running late' and would not be available until 11:30am! A little late? No other explanation was given. After reading other reviews of Vy Nail in the Encino Commons, this is not the first time a client was kept waiting or their appointment or it was 'pushed back'without any explanation. They commented that their needs to be better communication between the salon and their clients. After reading these reviews, I called Victoria, a day ahead of time, to cancell my appointment and stated the reasons why. If you want to be a good business owner and have repeat customers, please treat them with respect and be up front with your mistakes and the reason why. Running 'a little late' is not an hour and a half after your scheduled appointment! Why is it so difficult to find a reputable, reasonable, couteous, professional and experienced Nail Salon in Encino? I have lived here for 14 years. Please do not refer me to the salons that charge $100-$120 for a simple maniucre-pedicure! Thank you!

After my morning Russian Manicure with Anna, I told Kayley, who did a wonderful pedicure, that my…read moreleft pinky finger was sore. She said it just might be a little irritated from the drill. In the late afternoon, around 5:30pm it started to hurt and had a 'burning' sensation. I called Diane and sent her a photo. She was amenable to reimbursing me for my mani-pedi, which I appreciate. Anna, the Manicurist, seemed to be preoccupied and flustered this morning. The tray she worked at flipped over and all her tools fell on the floor. She was also talking to someone in Russian on her ear pods while doing my manicure. This is what happened to at Tintin Nails when the owner was too busy making appointments while doing my mancure and cut in to my right finger cuticle, causing pain and swelling. Does anyone know of a nail salon whose technicians are not multi-tasking while providing a service? Kayley was amazing, always checking with me if she was hurting me or if I was OK. I highly recommend her for a pedicure.

Can't believe how unprofessional that conversation was. Avoid this place! Reply to manager: that is not what was said on the phone. They never suggested gel on the toes but simply implied what the customer was choosing was not a good choice. I think different wording could have been more effective. I have been there in the past and they did a nice job that is why I wanted to come for a special occasion. I do not want to be made uncomfortable so I will not be returning.

I recently visited Hush Nail Salon in Encino and had a very disappointing experience. Booking an appointment was inconvenient as the phone goes to voicemail, and you have to text to confirm. Despite having an appointment, I waited 20 minutes upon arrival. The manager, who was present, started getting her own nails done instead of assisting me. The nail technician did not soak my hands, used a machine to remove dry cuticles, and missed several areas. When I pointed this out, I was told I needed a "Russian manicure" to have all my cuticles removed, which seemed like an upsell tactic. The $30 manicure I received left me with crooked polish and dead skin around my nails. Overall, the service was unprofessional and unsatisfactory. Whenever i call to make an appointment CHRISTINA is so sweet and patient when i need to take a look at my schedule. She always have the greatest attitude on the phone and is very pleasant to call and speak with. and for the diamond of the salon CAROLINE. I went here with my fiancé so she can get her nails done after seeing a new salon in the area while we were driving by they were very helpful and fit us in even though we didn't have an appointment, they had so much to offer and she loved her nails! Even though I usually despise going to salons with her this place was really nice they had a variety of drinks and pastries they offered me while I waited for her to finish. They also had really nice music playing making the whole experience even better. I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else from now on! read more

Oh my goodness! I have found the greatest nail salon in the valley!!! My experience here was truly amazing the workers are amazing, the manager is such a sweetheart, such a helpful person, my nails are amazing I truly love every little detail about the manicure that was done and my pedicure has never been so beautiful. So why was I in and out in less than 5 minutes?... After sitting down, having just 3 nails worked on being told forcefully, "I can't do your nails!" It was after my 4th yelp, which was the loudest of the 3 before them. To find out later (at the next manicurist) my nail had split below the line and tore my skin so I was bleeding. The other yelps were from her filing down to much in one spot it got hot and my nails underneath were left paper thin and tender. And why when I did leave did she have the attitude. Like she did me a favor to attempt my nails. When how I felt was abused, like I was her punching bag for a bad morning. She took her aggression out on me. Like I did something wrong to ask her to slow down and be gentle, and that was before my last and loudest yelp. (When she drilled so aggressively it ripped my nail right off at a split with my skin, causing me to bleed) And I mentioned this again because the next day I got a notice that I was marked as a "no-show". That's not okay because; 1. This should not be treated as though I was a "no-show" and it didn't happen, certainly not ignored. 2. I after went straight to their other address (8 minutes away) and had someone else do my nails. (And she did a beautiful job by the way it was a completely different experience. Polar opposite. Which is why I have a mixed review). 3. I'm not sure the earlier experience was properly addressed, as to why I'm writing this. By the way, I asked for her name on my way out and she wouldn't tell me. I had to ask twice but now I can't remember it. But I remember the address was 19903 Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills.
