Nice little place off Ventura for gel mani-pedis. My manicurist was SO fast. Great cuticle work and done in under 25 minutes. My only complaint was there was a big bubble on one of my thumbs that I didn't notice before I left (though I'm sure they would have fixed it if I had gone back). It's no frills - no hand or foot massage, no fancy massage chairs, but the work was good, the chairs are comfy and most importantly they use sanitized tools. Parking and entrance is behind the building. You can book online which I love, but if you're booking both a mani and a pedi, the lovely lady at the desk suggested calling so they can get the appointments back to back. One call out: they do take credit cards but charge a fee unless you want to pay via Zelle or Venmo. read more

I think I found my new favorite nail salon! It's not like the typical super busy and compact nail salon. When I got in it didn't feel rushed, they saw me right away, which is rare. My nail tech was Manana and she was so insanely thorough and detailed with my nails. She was open to all of my suggestions and I could tell she was a perfectionist which I loved. The receptionist made sure that I was happy with my chrome color and nail color. I just appreciated the overall vibe of the salon. Usually when I get my cuticles cut at a nail salon it's always painful and I don't know what type of magic Manana does, but it was not painful at all and I feel like she pushed it back a good amount. Polish app was neither good nor bad, I felt like it stayed for about a week before it started to lift which is not normal for gel but finding a good place in LA that doesn't charge $85 for a gel mani is next to impossible. The nail tech made my cuticles bleed in two areas and made the other fingers really tender for about 2 days. I've never had that happen before. This place requires "deposits" before every single appointment and then refuses to refund them even if you are cancelling weeks in advance and for good reason (not that any reason should be required). Also, I was never informed until today that the deposit is non-refundable. Not in a single of the many text messages where a "deposit" was requested. Not one. The owner claims this is allowed because the information is posted on their website (I found them on Yelp), social media (which I do not have), and a small sign in the corner of their salon. I love the fact that the staff speaks English which makes it easy to communicate. Everyone is always super nice, and they always go out of their way to make sure I am satisfied with my nails. I went here for a set of GelX nails and called for an appointment and was able to be seen same-day. The salon is beautiful. They offered me champagne, water, or coffee and showed me all the shapes available for GelX, which I really appreciated. Caroline did my nails and did a fantastic job. They always make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Scheduling an appointment over the phone was pretty easy and requires a deposit to book. I scheduled an appt based off their French Tip photos. I've been getting french tips for 10+ years. The lady who did my mani shaped my nails & polished very nicely. Two ladies helped with my pedi. The overall experience, Staff were friendly but the nail filing for both were pretty rough and polish seems to chip pretty easily. I've only had these nails for a week and I expected them to last a bit longer because I normally get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and I've never had my nails look like this so soon.
