I have loved Tin Tin nail spa for all of its seven years in the valley I make the drive from Northridge twice a month because the service had been that good I have always had a good experience and top shelf results. The ladies that work there are as talented as they are beautiful and they do an amazing job. I can get a simple mani and pedicure and tip my techs all for under $100 usually. They have been adding new look books for new gel and regular colors and offer cat eye and custom looks. Nancy has been amazing to work with my simple looks and I have been blown away with Hannah's art as she has created all of my spooky and spiky manicures. Friday's are usually busy in that plaza, so parking can become scarce, so try to visit during the week and book with Nancy and Hannah ! Unfortunately, I had the same experience as Isa S. with Tim, gaslighting me and not accepting responsibility for cutting the skin on my right ring finger cuticle several times. I dropped by the day before my scheduled appointment with Nancy, who is gentle and wonderful, to see if by chance there were any available technicIans, as I was in the area. I made it clear, that if not, I would simply come back the next day. He proceeded to ask me to take a seat at one of the chairs. Moon came right over and started my pedIcure, which was excellent! Then, after 5 minutes, Tim came over and started my manicure. He was constantly on his cell phone via his ear pods, making appointments with customers and not focusing on my manicure, especially cutting the cuticle skin. When I got home, my finger was throbbing, sore, swollen and red. I texted TIm. He said he was sorry I was in pain, and if there was puss coming out, to seek medical care! We were leaving on vacation in one day. I had to apply neosporin and a bandage for 4 days before it healed completely. When I texted him again that it affected my enjoyment of water amenities at the hotel he replied, "He did his best to accommodate me and recommended coming at my scheduled appointment next time so we can make sure the appropriate technician can have enough time reserved for your service!" Horrible service and attitude from the staff here. I was unhappy with the work because the young tattooed lady would give me attitude every time I asked her to match the picture I was referencing. I left very very unhappy with my birthday nails. And the man in the front offered to take my nails off and not charge me but it was an 2 hours of my day on my day off. Would not recommend anyone to come here. These look like thick chiclets with a lot of glue in the back and the last picture is what I asked for- square with rounded tips ******** Regarding your response: i asked to shorten the nails after i repeatedly asked her to try and match the shape and not make my nails too wide. She responded with a horrible attitude each time i asked so i gave up and asked her to just please cut them shorter in efforts to not have them be extra long and so wide. The attitude the entire session made this such an unfortunate experience. And then the attitude from the male manager at the end was rude too. No offer to fix or help. Just rude offer to remove 2 hours of work. This is my only day off- to simply have to take all this work off is a waste of my time. Also a little glue is ok I'm sure. But I'm have gel X before, my nails are glued to the back of my fingers and it's extremely thick. Over all just bad service, no real care. read more

would never go back. They are liars that won't tell you the price then charge you without knowing. I first came for three weeks ago I did NEW SET and manicure . They charge me 155!!!!!!! One week and a half goes by, my nails beak. I come back and pay for regular fill, they charged me 66! 10 days later (actually 9 but they computer counts different ) 3 nails break. I came back told them I want it removed . And it's not right They say ok I did also pedicure I paid 63 dollar they told me they will charge 52 Then he says they don't take responsibility after 10 days!!!!!!!! And that they charge for removal 12$ Be aware this is the most ugly behavior and then should be reported Horrible experience do not reccomend !!!!!!! Hanna gave tired "doing me a favor" vibe and don't listen to do the shape. I decided to try Tintin again and just got a gel manicure with Tina. She was experienced and efficient. I do think they use better products than at other places which would explain why it's a bit pricier. I liked that she didn't overly drill my nails to remove the previous gel I had. The nail tech cut me many times on my cuticles and gave me so many hangnails. My pedicure was painted on sooo far from my cuticles too it looked like they had been there for a week. And a worker in the salon was staring at me across the room for minutes. So uncomfortable and weird. Also the nail tech did not help me pick a color when I showed her the picture and rudely said "PICK" so I did not get the color I wanted. I liked the younger lady who did my meni but the older lady did my pedi was rude pushed my feet when my feet was accidently touched closed the bubble water whole came inside & with her mad face said something in Vietnamnese & looked at me. My first time coming here. As other reviews have mentioned, the person at the front is absolutely awful -- unfriendly, unwelcoming, and with a scowl. This was my first time going, and I have never walked into a business and been treated this way from the start. I had been quoted $40 for an acrylic fill by a receptionist earlier in the day. When I was finally seated for my appointment, tnstead of simply using remover, they scraped at the polish with a tool -- something unnecessary and inappropriate. I told them very clearly that I have a broken little toe and to please be careful. That warning was ignored. Three toenails had polish they claimed "couldn't come off" because it was "gel." It wasn't. When they finally used acetone on a fresh cotton ball, the polish came off immediately. I repeated again that I had a broken toe and needed them to be careful. Instead of listening, they became defensive, told me I "wasn't nice," and then asked me to leave the salon. The sequence of events may seem perplexing...I was absolutely baffled as well. This is beyond unprofessional -- it's careless, rude, and unsafe. Using the wrong tools, ignoring a client's injury, then gaslighting them and throwing them out is not how a legitimate business should operate. Never going back. read more

If you don't know the person who does your Jel you should not go there!!! Usually they have two people who does the good job the rest don't know anything about jel powder!!! They ruined my nails and became so thin that now I'm suffering from being so thin! Also I realized that they don't strill their instruments proplerly. I have been going to Tin Tin nail spa for almost 2 years now. I go every 3 weeks and am always accommodated. Van is very sweet and does my acrylics with gel polish. She is very careful and precise. My nails always look amazing and I receive many compliments. Lynn does my gel pedicure and is also very sweet and kind. She takes extra care of my awful callouses on my heels especially. She works very hard to remove it and my feet are smooth and wonderful. She does a precise job applying my polish. It was my first time going to this nail shop, and it was the worst experience l've ever had. I got a full set done with " TIM "who was the store manager and owner. After two days, three of my nails came off. I had to drive an hour to go back to him. I even kept the nails that had come off and brought them to him to show that they didn't break -- they had just come off because of the glue. And after he reapplied the nails, the very next day two more nails came off from the glue he had used. And now I have to go somewhere else to get my nails done all over again. I'm really, really upset because I couldn't attend the party I was supposed to go to, and my hands look terrible. He charged me $65 plus tip. I truly wasted my money.
