Highly recommend this place, as my husband and I were in the area we made pit stop for a little pick-me-up for some coffee. One sip and we looked at each other knowing we'd need to come back the next morning. So we and got to have a slow morning, enjoying a little breakfast. But what made it even better is the coffee shop is Christian based, cashiers were so friendly and welcoming with an aroma so calming. Long overdue review! We've been visiting Hush regularly over the past few months, and we can't say enough wonderful things. The atmosphere is wholesome and family-friendly. I also love that they support local suppliers / other small businesses and make thoughtful choices for customers' health. The owners and staff are warm, approachable, and always helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they've created for the community. On multiple visits, they've remembered my order and even recommended new items I ended up loving. Walked into Hush Coffee and very single table was completely full to the maximum, usually that's a good sign. They had a good amount of tables, and a nice clean looking interior. I ordered the Smoked salmon bagel (not pictured) and an iced vanilla latte substitute oat milk and half sweet. I wanted to oree the desserts as they looked amazing but I had some discipline lol the bagel was good not great. It was a very doughy bagel and had a good amount of chew to it which was weird. It was good, but next time I will order the bagel well toasted. Now we get to the iced coffee, I typically will not eat at a place if I don't like their coffee. This coffee was not good. The coffee had a much darker color than I've ever seen in a latte. It tastes like they cheaped out on the milk and it had zero vanilla taste. I just stumbled on this gem. Strong family vibe and the owner is right there making sure everything runs smoothly. Mentoring the staff is heart warming but most importantly the coffee and sandwiches were spot on. Only premium eggs, bread, deli meat, salmon. My wife and I shared white mocha and cold brew coffee with a turkey, cheddar, egg sandwich and salmon, avo bagel. Again, amazing! We love this place, we were in town for a conference and happened upon them by accident, family run operation, the coffee is roasted in house and the owners daughter makes fantastic sweets. I thoroughly enjoyed the macchiato and my wife had the vanilla latte with almond milk. The coffee was a medium roast and the foam was a nice thickness and hers was a nice ratio of coffee to milk and foam. I really like the service here, the environment is very welcoming and the drinks came out surprisingly fast. I ordered an iced monkey bread latte, it's sweet and cinnamon-y very good 8/10, a hot caramel cove with almond milk 7.5/10 sweet but i like the house made almond milk, and the iced maple espresso, i asked to substitute the heavy cream for almond milk but they just put both inside which was disappointing but luckily i liked the drink and had my lactose pills in my car. My family and I go to this spot at least once a week. The people are good, the coffee is great. On my first visit, I ordered a cortado and got a latte instead. Not a dealbreaker by any means. Notwithstanding, they immediately rectified the order and let me keep the latte. Both of them were incredibly tasty with dark notes of chocolate and nuts from the espresso and the sweetness of the milk floating over the top of the dark notes. Ambience is great, very mellow and welcoming. I bring my toddler daughter and folks barely bat an eye because other children are there as well. Folks really have been the kindest when my daughter decides to try to do a flip while we wait and this is a welcome relief, especially when I am flying solo on a daddy/daughter date. Decent stop, I had been trying out this coffee shop for a few weeks and enjoyed it almost every time. I am giving a fairly low rating because in the more recent times I've been to the cafe there have been dogs inside. One time there was a dog behind the counter on someone's shoulder, which is fine but not in a food/ drink establishment. On a separate occasion I went in and there was a larger breed dog with the owner and the dog was jumping up on the service counter which is crazy as this is a place that serves food and drinks. Overall I would recommend this place if you don't have a problem with dogs/ animals in places like this near your food. read more

I love this spot. It's only a few minutes from my house I could walk there. They service is amazing and the drinks are delicious. I've also had one of their macro stacks (I think that's what it's talked) and it's SO GOOD. for the quality- I think the prices make sense. I don't think it's the most affordable coffee shop to get everyday more so a treat but I LOVEEEEE the milk they use too! Everytime I go in whether it's the morning or noon it's always packed. However, the service always runs so quick. They've really got it down here. Owners are so sweet and friendly. What an awesome new place. I'm always looking for organic coffee shops. This place uses small batch organic coffee, artisan sourdough baked goods, NO SEED OILS, and... they love the LORD. What a find! The family that runs it were extremely warm and kind. The service was fast. They had a huge line form while I was there so we know people are loving it. I had a sourdough jalapeño cheddar bagel with schemer, salted chocolate chip cookies, and a wonderful specialty latte recommend by one of the owners sons Elijah who was a gem. I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte and it exceeded my expectations. Probably the best pumpkin spice latte I've had this whole season. I also ordered a veg sandwich. We love supporting mom and pop coffee shops and especially Christian businesses. BUT these prices are crazy. The coffee was good but $7 for a latte seems excessive. Also I will be hesitant ordering food here in the future, due to the portions being extremely small. One tiny tiny, slice of avocado toast for $11 just doesn't make sense to me. I was driving through Murrieta, CA and a coffee roaster appeared on my map. I was running low on beans at home, so I left a message for the owner to find out if he had beans available. Jason called me a few days later to tell me he was going to be roasting some fresh beans. Unfortunately, I was no longer in the area, but the cost for two bags of beans and shipping was reasonable. He roasts single origins from Columbia, Chiapas and Peru and also does a blend of the 3. Jason was super nice & explained that they air roast vs. drum roast which gives the coffee a cleaner, less bitter taste. I went with the blend since he was roasting it that evening on a Monday. I gave him my shipping info on Tuesday afternoon & to my shock, I received them the following morning. Love the packaging! I ground the beans and prepared them as a drip with my Moccamaster and as a pour over. The flavor was crisp and clean with low acidity. There was a little bitterness followed by a sweet lingering mouthfeel. I still like my beans from Big Island Coffee because I like a darker roast, but I give props to Hush Coffee. I also have a new grinder and am still making adjustments to the grind. For the price point and easy drinkability, I would recommend supporting this local roaster and buying his coffee. It would be especially nice if he is able to open a brick and mortar which he is hoping to do. Also glad he changed the name from what is appearing on my maps to Hush. read more
