I recently…read moreneeded some work on it and called them but they indicated they no longer do work in Vancouver, but when I asked if there was anyone they would recommend, they said Simple Lawns. I had a problem with two leaks in the irrigation system. You could see water getting into the valve boxes when you turned on two of my zones. My suspicion was that the water pipes coming out from the valve to the irrigation tubing had broken when I had a contractor install a pumped sewer system last fall. The trench for the sewer pipe went across the water outlet pipes from the valve boxes. I called Simple Lawns to see if they could come work in fixing the leaks. They were able to schedule a visit by their irrigation expert within a few days. I paid a deposit which was for the service call to diagnose the problem and assess how much it would cost to fix. The employee came and looked it over and was able to fix it right away. He had it fixed within an hour or two. I was surprised it was possible to fix it so quickly, and he indicated the cost would probably be just the service call fee or a little more. The one slightly odd thing was I didn't get a email from the company to indicate the job was completed and that there were no additional charges. But the repairs were successful and they didn't send any additional bill, so I figured that was the situation. I was dreading trying to get those leaks fixed and I was amazed how quickly they fixed them and that it cost way less than I expected it would.

When I called for a quote, I was told, "yes, we can help you with that". I was told Michael, an estimator will be in contact within a week. No visit to the property, however, pictures were requested.????? He asked if we wanted regular lawn maintenance, which we declined. His response is that they can't do the leveling. Still no quote on the leveling and since we declined regular maintenance, they can't help us. Very misleading and a waste of everyone's time.

Josh and Kyle were methodical in the process of supporting the porch, removing the old beams and installing the new ones. Since there were 6 beams, the process was done in two stages. The team demonstrated excellent skill in installing the metal anchors in concrete and then cutting the beams to fit perfectly in place. This was a very technical renovation and we couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and skill of the construction crew. The renovation was also a very fair value. I mention this because we initially called and utilized another landscaping service to clean up the neglect in our green space the prior summer. They did a good job with big tasks, but also ripped out all of our flowers (this was not Planet Green). My partner puts a lot of effort into growing things that look nice and bring in hummingbirds. They make him happy. So when we were looking for a new landscaping company, we were worried because some folks go in and can make everything look clean and neat, but also lose the "wild" touches some more natural yards are going for. Initially Jose and his team came out and spoke to my partner to get an idea of what he wanted to do. Then they quoted us a price which was very fair and started coming during the busy months (summer/leaves falling, ect) and really whipped our yard into nice shape. There were a few mishaps where areas that were being seeded for flowers were raked, but Jose corrected these issues and was always very communicative with my partner over what needed to be addressed and what needed to be left alone. Now we have a routine and they come by on a fixed schedule. Our yard maintains the wild green Pacific Northwest feel we love, but also doesn't get choked with leaves/debris, ect. Planet Green Landscaping is a great business. They put a lot of love into the care of their client's homes and Jose has always been amazing in communicating with us, his attention to detail, and his flexibility with my partner's plans/plantings.
