I like this place, the price isn't bad. Just can't do rapid shooting, but it that's not that major of a deal. The place is well organized and the shooting ranges (pistol) is fun. I went for a private class to try out the facility and clean up my pistol accuracy. The instructor Donovan I requested bailed at the last minute. But I was very happy with his replacement John. There are several young kids (19 year olds) doing menial tasks but it is $10 to shoot. There are several shooting stations and they change out your targets for you. I will probably continue through some of there classes and use this for range time. read more

Place is outdoors, not a problem. Young staff, unknowledgeable. Spotting scopes need to be thrown away. You cannot have a silhouette that resembles a torso, animal, or zombie. Then they peddle extra targets for $1. Same targets. Eye protection is hard to wear while looking thru scope, but they enforce it. Payment is per gun, so if you have a nice collection of guns, be prepared to pay lots! read more

Awesome Range. I've been here several times before, to shoot at the pistol range. But I recently purchased a shotgun and decided to take a one on one lesson because I hadn't really had any experience with that platform before. My instructor was there on time. Took the time to find out what my experience level and goals were with the weapon, educated me about the weapon, and made me feel very comfortable. By the end of my one-hour session, we were smoothly running drills and I walked away feeling very comfortable using the weapon on my own. This place was awful. The bench rests are way too high and the front window is so low that 50mm objective scopes will not fit. The benches are so close together that you are practically bumping elbows with other shooters. The range master sets everyone up on previously shot targets so you have to wait the full hour before you get to start fresh. After getting my eardrums blown out from the range master setting me next to 3 guys unloading AR-15's, I just left. read more

Went here with the whole fam; place was accommodating and nice for an outdoor range; pay per gun. Rifle: you can shoot 25 and 100 in the same lane, which is awesome! Allowed us to have a free rain check when there was lightning and we were able to come back with no problem after the sun came back out. I give this place 3 stars only because the shooting officers were young kids who didn't really create a safe atmosphere; they were running around, throwing shell casings at each other; would have definitely preferred to have someone more mature and serious overseeing the shooters. We are shooting guns for heavens sake! That is really my only complaint. read more

Sucks man. So you can have big ass hunting riffles and pistols. But an Ak pistol is not allowed. They are friendly but the place sucks. I have been here times before with family and never thought much of it. Until I wanted to try out the moderate m92. I will never go back. Well, it's an outdoor range with plenty of space for whatever you are packing. It does seem a bit disorganized out on the line though. We fired everything from 9mm to .308 to 12 gauge slugs. This place gets super busy, so go in the morning! read more

Probably the friendliest staff of all range in and around Houston. I shoot here quite often and recently they upgraded their range.You can now shoot 25& 100 or 50 & 100 yards without leaving the same spot on the rifle range. I used to shoot here whenever I had free time to go out and enjoy a day outside to shoot, but now with their now hours I been denied to skeet shoot when I have free time and was hopeing to get my concealed hand gun license at this place, but now I don't want to come back here and find another place to have fun with my guns. read more

No way to give it sub 1 star huh? After witnessing one of the most dangerous and idiotic things I've ever even heard of on that range, pertrated by one of the teenaged, powetripping "range officers". I hadn't been back. Unfortunately, I went back today because it was close to my home, and I have a new AR. SAME issue as before...rude, powertripping teenager, idiotic "rules" and a terrible experience. Never again. read more

They are always courteous and on the ball. Nice range and facilities and best of all... it's outdoors. No timers or someone standing over your every move hurrying you out. Monitors are very safety conscious an watch over things to keep you safe. Great place to run in and practice or spend a few hours with friends. read more

I have been to better gun ranges before. The ranges are monitored by what looked and acted like high school boys. An individual showed up looking and acting completely high with a baby and they allowed the man to shoot and his baby to stay! First of all I think the range should have an age limit. The poor baby's ears! The baby was crying the entire time it was there. I would also liked to have seen them renting the over the ear style ear protection. The only option is to buy a pair, which is different from what they claim on their website. I liked all the old dogs sleeping in the lobby area and the staff inside seemed very competent. Price wise they are reasonable and maybe if I go back I will try the skeet shooting, but chances are I will not go back. For a shooting experience they were fine and I would probably give them 3.5 stars, but for the young and oblivious staff I am only giving them 2. I think they should have standards to who they let shoot a gun (the man was stoned out of his mind and it was obvious to quite a few people). read more

good if your only bringing one gun. if your like me and like to show up with up to 5 handguns then its better to go to an indoor range like memorial shooting center. if it isn't busy you can easily shoot for a few hours and it will cost less than going to a place where they charge per a weapon. not sure why they charge per a weapon when I'm shooting at the same target with all 5 pistols but that is what keeps me from going there when i want to shoot all of my pistols in one day. other than that its not a bad place to shoot read more

Very affordable and the workers were nice. This was my first time at an outdoor range and I liked it, although the weather was nice maybe I will think different if we go in the summer. The targets do not move and we had to cease fire several times so the worker could go get our targets, no big deal because we needed to reload. read more

Range is no frills, benches are in bad shape not well maintained. Staff is nothing but a bunch of high school kids that feel empowered and can't reason with customers. Some are friendly others are smart little guys who are still wet behind the ears. Good range for those who aren't serious shooters and beginners. In summary the range is cheap and fun if you simply want to fling some lead. If you want a serious range with some knowledgable support go elsewhere, "you get what you pay for". read more

Worst experience ever! Waited over 2 hours for skeet range even though it wasn't busy. They said I would go right to shoot when I paid. Got out there another round was ahead of me (ok). Then painters starting walking around field so had to close that range, then said I would should at next range and be next. Turns out they had other people waiting. half the fields were not being used even though the painters were not on or near them. 2 hours later, I complained at the main building where you pay. No concern by staff at all. They did refund my money. They said they have no control over what goes on there. How can you not know and have control over what is going on at a shooting range? Hard to believe. They offered no regard for my inconvenience of wasting hours, only to say stay and wait or get a raincheck, for which I told them to give my money back. I will never go there again. Over all I lost a total of 4 hours, including travel, waiting, and arguing, to end up not getting to do whatI had looked forward to doing. I will never go back there again. read more
