I would not give more than 2 star for this facility. As a pro traveler, who stayed at many chain hotels for work, this is by far the worst trained front desk staff I have ever experienced. This hotel is supposed to provide every other day cleaning service which I don't know what their excuses are since pandemic is over. I wasn't informed about it and later I had to call the hotel and requested to empty the trash bins. Secondly, I couldn't sleep bc of noises traveling from other rooms. I don't understand how bad it was since it is relatively new facility'. Lastly, they messed up my bill by charging parking 2x. I clarified and they would fix it but they didn't. When I complained about it, they insisted they did it correctly until I showed screenshots of my credit card charges. I would never come back here again. read more

Excellent location. Family friendly. There is a park and also a dog park next door. There is a terrace pool and hot tub. The onsite restaurant and bar was fabulous. A nice movie theater next door. Pacific Catch and Starbucks are walking distance. Clean and modern rooms, will be back. read more

I had a pleasant experience, maybe it's because I didnt have high expectations. The hotel room was clean, spotless. We were offered to upgrade to VIP Suite for a little more cost, which I was fine playing for because I needed this room. Pool is small, but nice. New hotel w/ spacious, comfortable, quiet rooms. Right next to restaurants, Safeway, etc. Dog park next door/in same parking lot. Free parking, free wifi. Friendly front desk. King suite is awesome - with a cool view. I wish it was closer to the freeway but the location is still great seeing it's right in the middle of a variety of stores. read more

There is no reason a room that's $250 should have a shower that isn't functioning. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and the woman not only radioed to maintenance that it was acting up "again" when I asked if there was another option, she arched her eyebrows and said "well we're booked so you can't have another room". When I further explained I was in a rush and before I could ask if the gym might be equipped with a shower she cut me off and said "since you're in a rush how about we just let maintenance handle it". Also there was some sort of church service fully equipped with music in the outdoor area below our room which is exactly what you want at 8am when you're hungover. Never again. This will add to my many stays with Hyatt. Due to Covid19, I understand that it looks as if you are the only couple there until other start roaming around as soon as the pool and bar open up at 4pm. Staff was very helpful during the stay and price for food is decent. At the pool bar we ordered Ahi Nachos which were great accompanied by the drinks, The view and Whiskey and Ginger smash. In regards to the rooms, they were comfortable and felt fairly large compared to others. It had a very modern look to it and art used matched the Silicon Valley. Down side to the rooms were that foot steps could be heard pretty well from above. Now on the morning of check out we expected more from the paid for "continental breakfast". It came with what is pictured in the attached photo on this review. I would have expected at least a breakfast sandwich instead of the muffin. I recall another Hyatt had some Jimmy Dean sausage biscuit as part of the grab and go breakfast. With all things considered, it was still I good stay at this location. Helpfully once Covid is in the past , things would go back to normal. read more

This hotel is very nice and centrally located. Came here when we went to a concert at Shoreline. The rooms are very modern and trendy- they have no carpet, only laminate flooring. The hotel itself was extremely clean and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. We had some drinks and appetizers in the bar- which were really good and reasonably priced. Parking was easy and not crowded. Would definitely come back! read more

All their of their interior rooms face their outdoor event space. Literally, all six floors facing the interior are forced to listen to any event that takes place at the hotel. Silicon Valley, home to all these "geniuses", and they couldn't design a reasonable enclosed event space? So instead, all the interior facing rooms end up listening to bass thumping from a wedding reception, which is what happened to me. And look, I'm happy for Matt and Stephanie or whatever their names are. But I don't want to be at their wedding, and I don't want to hear drunk guests dancing offbeat to "Sweet Caroline" and hollering like lunatics. And yes, I took my concerns to the hotel staff but apparently they were full. Of course....cause there was a wedding. Some simple planning could have prevented this, and the staff definitely should have given us a heads-up. To boot, the service is poor. Found a dirty sheet in my bed. My room was fully serviced when I asked for it not to be (privacy please?!). During COVID, when I say I don't want anyone piddling around in my room, I mean it. The one good thing I will say about this place is the evening housekeeper, Diego. He was incredibly helpful and friendly. Anyway, if you do come here, make sure to choose an outward-facing room. Otherwise, instead of getting a good night's rest, you might end up partying w/ Matt and Stephanie. read more

After a 7 hour drive to arrive in Palo Alto to take care of business we were too tired to drive back home. We googled for a top hotel , high reviews, didn't care too much about price. We wanted quality! And a good steak. We didnt find either. Booked a reservation for a king bed room with mountain view. Credit check, confirmation # received! We're golden! Yes! Thought we scored! New clean modern hotel! Wrong. Got here, only a room with two double beds available. Screw it, as long as I get a good steak dinner, everything will be ok. Wait, before I got to even go down to the restaurant, the room was trash. Floor was all sticky and dirty like a bunch of kids dropped their kool-aide on the floor. Called front desk, no other rooms. Guy came to clean it. Whatever. Ok, can I get my steak now? We go down to the restaurant. Took a couple shots and had drinks. Only steak the restaurant had was a rib eye! Yes! Trash, I got a glued together piece of I dont know what. Waiter was great though. If it wasn't for him taking the charges off, I would of gave 0 stars. Left him a fat tip cause he tried and knew it was garbage. Time for bed now. Hopefully there won't be any college kids next door, smh! read more

Howard, the manager, was, by far, undoubtedly, the best Hyatt employee. I've met tons of hotel employees, but Howard went above the rest. The room we booked showed a bathtub on the website, but there was no bathtub when we got to the room. I called the front desk and was told rooms with a tub were all sold out. But Howard stepped in, made things right, and immediately looked for ways to meet our needs. He told us to relax in our room while he personally went to two rooms on different floors to check if the available room had a tub. Within a few minutes, he called and told us someone will bring the keys to our new room with a tub. It was a beautiful room with a view of the mountains and 2 large Fuji water bottles waiting for us. Hyatt should promote him to an executive position, pay him to travel worldwide, and create a program that improves staff-guest hospitality. I've noticed a tremendous decline in hospitality since COVID at all branded hotels but Howard broke that cycle by proactively finding ways to make the guest room feel like home. The hotel is in a quiet area, yet it is next to a shopping center with lots of restaurants. read more

It's a nice hotel but they charged me for the $100 hold rather than lifting it like they were supposed to, and I followed up with them multiple times and they assured me it would be refunded, and a month later it's still not refunded. Not sure what to do at this point. Contacted the bank and they said it's on the hotel's end. I just wanted to heed you to be extra careful about that if you're going to stay here because it seems likely you'll be out of whatever hold they put on your card for a while. :( sad because it's a really nice hotel for a good price and I wanted to stay here again. I left the hotel thinking I was going to give it a five star review, until this mess happens. If they fix it I would give it a four star review because it was such a hassle but at least they solved the problem. read more

Look great from out side has lots of parking lots but when you walk into the room it's not as amazing as it was advertised it's pretty clean and decent my only issue was this was the first place I been where rooms were pretty dark not much lighting only table lights unlike other places :( read more

This was our first time at this hotel. We stayed in a 1 king bedroom suite. We were greeted by friendly hotel staff, special mention to Chris, Assistant General Manager who was very accommodating and hospitable. He went far and beyond to meet our needs. The room is spacious and very clean. Usage of the pool is by schedule so you have to book ahead. You can use the pool exclusively within your allotted time to give way for social distancing. The hotel is conveniently situated near grocery stores and restaurants. It's like a one-stop shop. Ample parking is available. Overall, I would highly recommend the place whether for business, pleasure and events read more

When first pulling up the street near the hotel I noticed the public parking structure which has a small section just for the hotel. Pulling up to be let in there is nothing to press besides a help button, which just beeps at you until it opens. After you do your check in your hotel room key card will open it for you. When you take the elevator up it takes you to ground level which you still have to cross the street to get to the hotel, it will cost you $20 for parking. I front desk service is very friendly and welcoming. I did like the elevator safely feature which you have to tap your card key to go to your level or it won't move. The Hotel room was average, nothing you couldn't find in an other hotel. There is a bottle of lotion in the bathroom that has a $100 charge if you take it label on it and 2 large water bottles that will cost you $7 if you open one. Basically make sure you bring your own water bottles. There were no trash bag liners in any of the trash containers, I had to use the ice bucket bag to put our trash in, thank goodness we stayed just one night and didn't have a lot of trash. Over all it's a beautiful hotel and I'm sure the food and bar area are great but I could stay at another hotel in Mountain View for the same price if not cheaper and have the same type of room. read more

My husband daughter and I stayed in the hotel fir the weekend and was blown away by the service cleanliness and design! Its a beautiful hotel great location to shops walking distance. Of course u forgot to bring my daughter milk for her nap time milk and Mark at the concierge went above and beyond to help a mama out. He went in the back got me whole milk and even heated it up on stove. Saved the day for nap time with a warm glass of milk!! Thank Mark and staff for a memorable stay!!! read more

Wife and I stayed here last night and our experience we fantastic! First off you'll notice that the hotel is new. We loved the modern decor and feel of the hotel. The front desk help were very pleasant and made our check in a breeze. We had our room keys in our hands in a couple mins and we were ready to explore the hotel. Rooms are the perfect size. They are big enough to make you feel extremely comfortable, whether your stay is short like ours or a long one. We had a king bed that was the perfect amount of firmness while still being very comfortable. The rooms also have laminate/hardwood floors which is may be great for people who suffer with allergies. Bathroom/shower were awesome! Again very modern and very clean! All of the doors have that slow close feature to keep from slamming, even the toilet had a slow close feature. Haha! There is also a couch, a bench, and a work desk if needed. Our room also had a nice 50 or 55 inch TV that was really easy to navigate and use. Lastly, we also had dinner at their restaurant in the hotel, Fairchilds Public House. Cocktails were well made, I had the Maple Old Fashioned and the wife had a Moscow Mule. We started with the Calamari. Presentation was very nice but which the portion size was a bit bigger. I guess I couldn't really complain though because our dinner portions were pretty big. I got the braised beef plate with the mac n cheese. The beef was very tender, no knife needed to dig into it and the generous portion of mac n cheese was very good as well. The wife's ribeye was cooked perfectly as requested, medium. Overall this was one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel in the bay area. I could definitely see myself coming back. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber and relaxed ambiance at this hotel. We stayed a week, and staff were wonderful - professional, competent, worked well together and were outstandingly friendly and welcoming. While I'd like to see a better traveler computer workstation available (there was only one Apple computer, tucked away in a corner), and there a few things in the room (we had a King size), that could effortlessly be improved upon, overall, I honestly can give the experience 5 stars. Mattress was medium comfortable, and bedding was new and clean. Food was remarkably fresh, nicely presented and served in a timely manner, both in restaurant and room service. My cocktail was well mixed (by a very obliging bartender), and tasted great. Menu pricing was fair. They have a nicely shelved selection of board games etc, to loan. Although parking was a short walk (as opposed to in building with direct access), it really was easy to get to, very clean, well lit and well laid out. The surrounding area has a movie theater, nice eats and a pretty new cobbled walkway. Great for both an extended business stay, and a date night stop over - we'll certainly go back. read more
