Loved our 3-night stay at Hyatt Place in Rockwell, TX. This modern hotel must be relatively new. Our king room included a nice-sized sectional, large wall-mounted tv, wood plank floors, and an adequate bathroom with a very nice glassed-in shower. I get a little picky about dirty bathroom corners or moldy shower tiles, so I appreciate how clean our bathroom was. Common areas like the elevators were clean as well. This Hyatt Place has an exceptional breakfast! Oh my goodness! While trying to respect protocols in place for Their establishment, they pulled off an amazing breakfast each day, which were packaged to be come-and-go, but the common area to eat could be used as well. Today's hash served with sausage links and scrambled eggs was yummy. They even prepared a homemade salsa to top it off. I always felt like Every breakfast was specially prepared just for me!! Lastly, but probably most importantly, the staff made us feel right at home, and were kind and generous and helpful. read more

I have called this hotel several times requesting a manager to call me back regarding unauthorized charges of over $300 on my account. I never made a reservation under my name, never stayed at this hotel, and never signed any documents authorizing these charges. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, nobody has been willing to help or provide answers. The lack of customer service and accountability has been extremely frustrating. Instead of helping resolve a serious billing issue, I was treated poorly and ignored. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before staying here. read more

So because of dust storms my flight was delayed. When I asked the front desk for a late check in or a check in over the phone. They wouldn't do anything to try to help me. It got worked out with a friend checking in for me after I had to fight with the front desk to add him to the reservation. When I checked in half the towel had brown marks on them. It was an unpleasant stay. And tbh I had a cleaner room at a rode way inn when my car broke down in the middle of nowhere read more

First of all, many of the amenities that are promised don't work. Most of the workers don't know how to use the fire pit.So to function it, you basically have to figure it out yourself. They offer a swimming pool and even a photo of a jacuzzi on their website, with the same address linked to it. However, they don't allow access to the swimming pool year round. It is limited two seasonally use only which they do not tell you. Also, there is a photo of a jacuzzi on their website with them, the same address on it.So it's the same hotel, but they don't have a jacuzzi. False advertising much? Now let's really cut into things. The worst part of most people stay here.As you can see in Yelp reviews, i'm not the only one is the general manager Shronda Graves. She screams at guests. She is rude to her staff right in front of guests. She even went so far as to.Subscribe and start to stalk me on my youtube channel.After many times of her yelling at me over nothing. Erica runs the breakfast buffet. And let me tell you something about erica, you can't tell if it's a guy or a girl, but that part doesn't matter so much is that she is mean or he as dirt and of course, twice as cruel and Shronda backs her up like they are sleeping together, but maybe they are. Tanner runs the facilities, and he is the manager of event planning.Basically, and he gets an a plus gold star but Shronda gets a huuuuge F. Who in their right? Mind yells at and threatens guests when you are the general manager of the hotel and even fired a man recently because he went on paternity leave. That's right only Shrondra. She needs to be fired immediately before she does some damage to guess that they cannot walk away from. She is what we call a walking liability. With a horrible rude attitude almost well. Yeah, I guess it's worse than Erica, but she's pretty bad too. The fact she's just a cook, and that's all that she will ever be, and she's not much good at that is one thing, but when the general manager acts like a gustavo... that's when we take things to corporate. Because she definitely does not deserve to have a job at all. And if she has one at all, it's be definitely not dealing with the public as she is awful at this and the worst of all time. She can threaten me, and she can stalk me all the way back from Texas home on to California. Keep it coming Shronda if something tells me you won't be working there much longer. I highly advise against staying at this hotel. Not only do they false advertise, they're unapologetic about it. This place is Motel 6 or econolodge with higher prices-- nothing terribly wrong with it, just low quality rooms, showers, soap, hallways, elevators, etc And therefore a terrible value for the price The service is polite , but also false and uninformed. The hotel is beautiful !! Spacious & clean !! The pool is very nice, quiet and super clean. I'm giving this 3 out of 5 stars is because the front desk staff all look like they dislike there jobs. No smile, no hello, no how was your stay Nothing ! I will say there was one employee who works until 11 pm super friendly, smiles, greets and sincerely cares !! They will not clean your room I was there 5 days they did not clean it only replaced my towels once and changed my trash . Our stay was great! We enjoyed the spacious room which had a couch as well as a bed. It made inviting guest over seemless! Admittedly, we had a cancellation from a nearby hotel, so we came here. We were already angry about cancelled reservations and dinner reservations, so we stayed at the bar, resigned in defeat. The concierge's/bartenders/customer service representatives did an OUTSTANDING JOB taking care of us in getting a room, serving a few drinks, and taking care of their regular duties while dealing with our complaints and frustrations derived from our experience here thus far. This was my wife and I's third year anniversary, and they saved it. We can't express enough thanks for Ladayshia and Nesha for the professionalism, hard work, empathy, and wholehearted care that they showed us after what was otherwise a disaster. When you walk in the lobby it looks like a brand new hotel. Very neat, clean and modern looking. The desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room is clean and very large. I like that the floors did not have all carpet ( maybe because I was in a handicap room?). Very clean. The hotel was so quiet all night. No door slamming and running around - of course that has to do with the guests not hotel. I got such a good night sleep. Loved that mattress. breakfast was fine!! Worst hotel experience I've ever had! Impossible to get any sleep from kids being allowed to run wild in the hallways and rooms at all hours of the night. Adults constantly talking loudly and slamming doors. When I asked the night manager to intervene, I was told, "This is a hotel", "We cannot control the behavior of the guests, we can ask them to please be quiet, but we can't control the noise." So, if you want to get some quiet restful sleep between the hours of ten to six, don't stay here. You will be sorely disappointed. I'm sorry, but I don't want to pay $140.00 per night to be kept awake all night by loud, out of control "guests"! By the way, don't ask for a refund either, you will be refused! read more

I'll start off with the good news. The hotel is new, clean, and very very nice. We have a king room and it has a gorgeous bathroom and beautiful wood floors. The TV is huge! Good fridge. No microwave though. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is the lack of microwave. So that's my only complaint. The hotel really isn't a bad hotel at all. However I did have a issue with lady bugs in my room but that was small compared to the GM Shronda Graves horrible attitude. People please read the reviews on her she is a piece of work. Shronda Graves speak so bad if you complain about anything and yes just as many of the reviews say she does hang up in guest face if you challenge anything, she saying. I hope they move her because the hotel and the front desk staff isn't bad it's the GM Shronda Graves that make this hotel rank low!
