Nice clean and modern property. There's a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room which is nice. You can call if you need more amenities delivered to your room during your stay such as bottled water, coffee, toilet paper etc. Items are delivered quickly to your room. There is an on-site gym that is pretty decent for a hotel gym which is available 24/7. Parking is a bit pricey if you have to park on premise, $43 per day. There is a restaurant and grab and go snack bar on property but we never tried them. There are a lot of food options off property and nearby. read more

4 stars for location, value, service, and aesthetically pleasing rooms and lobby. Located in downtown Seattle, this hotel is surrounded by restaurants and a couple of blocks away from shopping. There's street parking for $4/Hr and the hotel also offers self and valet parking. If you can, look for street parking, it's cheaper and there's plenty of spots available. Street parking is free on Sundays and only on hourly rate from 8am-6pm. The rooms are modern and has plenty of space. It's equipped with a safe, mini fridge, keurig coffee maker, and a small desk. The bed is super comfy, making this a great place to rest my sleepy head. I feel like I'm a super easy going patron, therefore, it doesn't take a lot for me to be pleased with service. I was particularly happy with the check in process because I checked in online and my room was ready a couple of hours before check in time. Got the "office for the day" deal. It appears Hyatt computer system is not updated to accommodate their promotion. The deal is for 7am to 7pm day time use, however, the app still showed check earliest check in time was 9am, room was ready at 7am but for first time deal user I was doubting if I did something wrong. When I checked out the app didn't work, had to check out at front desk, and the girl acted like I was supposed to stay overnight. Very clean and quiet room. And the restaurant on site , the Andare kitchen and bar was excellent . Generally speaking it's a wonderful stay. Amazing new hotel from what I hear. It's not until we stayed here that the decor and service of this hotel brings value for what I paid. Wish I booked more nights instead of one. But will be looking forward to staying here the next time I'm in Seattle. It is less than 1/2 mile from Pikes Market and the tourist attractions so really well placed in the heart of downtown. There is a 24 hour superette on the second floor which has some amazing chowder and the turkey BLAT sandwich which was a plus since we flown in late for one night. The rooms are contemporary and really modern look. Clean linens and huge tv with hd cable. As well as fast complimentary wi-fi. I gotta say I really underpaid for what I got but why am I complaining? It may be a hot price since it's a new hotel so book it as soon as possible. read more

This hotel is nice with looks and lots of other things. But it is very misleading, for example we were told that there is a pool in the building. Come to find out it's is across the street and we have to pay extra. It's not like a five-ten dollar charge for the pool, it is 50 dollars each person. And for my family(11 people) that is already spending a lot of money on this trip cannot drop extra money like that especially for one day pass. On the website we were told it was complementary. Bathroom - Every time I see a walk-in shower with half-door glass, I wanna see the designer to take a shower there. It is impossible to avoid wet town outside of the shower. Unless I'm just a dumb ape who doesn't know how to take a shower in this. ==== Dirty floor. I don't like wearing shoes inside. So, just kinda wanted to check the floor by wiping it with a towel. I guess they just vacuum and not moping. ==== No water station to refill your water. Sure you can ask for water bottles from the front desk, but we're trying to reduce waste if possible. This hotel is very modern and clean. Service has been excellent and the room has great views from two huge windows. My favorite part was the gym! I wasn't even going to work out hard but the gym equipment is brand new with virtual locations, Facebook, YouTube etc. and the the gym includes include towels, water, headphones, sanitizer and you sign up at the front desk for times. Tons of restaurants within walking distance, including Pike's Place, Dough Zone and Nana's green tea. Great location and stay! read more

The Hyatt Regency is convieniantly close to the convention center (my destination for a conference that week), and is overall a very nice hotel. I only have one complaint that is of any real significance. The shower. The whole room, bathroom included, looks very nice and is quite comfortable. But the showe has no door, not even so much as a curtain. The result being that water was getting everywhere on the floor, so much that I had to use multiple towels to clean up. Since I was travelling solo, it was not too big of a deal, but had there been just one more person in the room it would be quite a burden. For the first half of our trip we decided to stay here since location wise it was convenient to the port. We arrived late at night & had no issues checking in, we also wanted to grab a late check out since our cruise was not leaving till 5pm & we wanted to have time to explore the city with out worrying about our bags. no problems getting the late check out. Once checked in we settled nicely. Our room was on the 17th fl, can't recall the room # ?! as for the room.. Nice comfortable bed , spacious room, great view & nice toiletries to use all this along with a refrigerator, coffee machine & free water bottles, always nice.. helpful to get free water. The hotel is located in a convenient area , close to the port & the downtown area. staff was very nice & friendly , the lobby of the hotel is very nice, they offer water & lots of nice seating space. Stayed here for a week last August, Hyatt hotels are always solid. Room was comfortable and clean and the service was great.

I stayed here last month while on a business trip. It was just a 3 minute walk to my downtown Seattle meeting so I was pleased with the convenience of this location in general. When I booked this reservation online, I had requested a foam bed, and i was hoping that this would just happen without any further action on my part. When I checked in, the nice young man mentioned this hotel opened up brand new sometime in December of 2018. The elevator bank is directly in front of the check in counter, which was nice to see. When I entered my room, it did have the feel(and smell) of a newer room. I proceeded to jump on my bed to verify if they installed what was probably a memory foam topper and to my pleasant surprise, they had done so already. As for the room configuration itself, my room was not overly large but comfortable and efficient in its configuration. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend for those seeking a downtown Seattle location, that this is a fantastic option to consider. read more

We checked into this hotel late on a Friday night, it is about 25 mins from the Seattle-Tacoma airport and it was an ideal location, distance wise from Seattle's cruise port. FYI there is only one food place near the hotel that is open at 11 pm or after. The check in process was easy and the staff here are friendly. Our room was clean, smelled fine and had some nice views of the city (not the space needle) from the bedroom window. The bathroom was clean and had toiletries. The front desk granted us a complimentary late check out. We hung out at their lobby waiting for our cruise boarding time. I enjoyed staying at this hotel, the rooms were very clean and modern I also liked the buffet breakfast if you're going to eat a lot it's worth it because it cost $30 per person but if you just want a light breakfast go somewhere else. I also liked where this hotel was located it's only a 15 minute walk from pike place. It is very close to the Starbucks reserve I recommend going there it's only a 5 minute walk. The person checking us in was very patronizing and his "service" automatically turned me off. I had to ask him to stop speaking to me the way he was, as if I didn't understand English which is a huge pet peeve of mine. It cost almost an extra $50/day to park in a lot that is not even guaranteed which happened to us one of the days. We had to pay an additional fee at another parking garage. The website offered EV parking spaces however no staff member seemed to know where exactly the spots were located. After 10 long minutes of roaming the garage because the staff had been guessing what floor, we found the 3 unmarked EV parking stations. When you call to pick up your food from the market, they don't give you a heads up on where to go when you arrive. I waited in the line and when I went to pick up my order, they said "just wait back there". I waited in the area for 10 more minutes then asked the worker if they missed my order and she said "oh no it's right here, you have to ask for it." Overall a poor experience especially for the price we paid. I wouldn't come back. read more

Checked in earlier today. official check in is 4:00 pm. I arrived at 2:00 pm and my room wasnt ready. I was told I'd be notified by email when ready. I checked back at 3:00 and 3:30 pm. still not ready. At 4:11 pm, still not receiving an email notification, I went to the desk and finally they had a room for me. I asked if I could get late check out or something to make up for the lateness and was told no. The lobby is small, loud and there are no cute sitting areas. I've been in a lot of 3 star hotels with better lobbies. There's a nice club room that I don't have access to- apparently my $300/night room is too cheap for that access. read more

I checked into this hotel at 7pm tonight. I have had the worst experience of my life. I am a veteran of thr US Amrmy and tenured professor and lawyer. I was required to bring my 7 bags to my room because the staff was " at lunch". When I arrived at my room, the lock was broken and someone had to repair it. I tipped $10. After dinner, I returned to my room and noticed that there was no microwave. I called the front desk and Trent answered. When I inquired about a microwave in a room that I was just charged $3,600 dollars on the spot at check-in, he stated that they did not provide microwaves in up-scale hotels anymore because they stink and the cleaning staff have to do more work to clean the rooms. I was shocked since people of all ages use this hotel (I.e., parents with small children or infants that need heated bottles), so I called back to say that there was a problem with this policy. It is no more work and if it is, then the hotel can pay them to do the work since the hotel is making a significant profit. Trent stated that they actually have microwaves for rents for $25 per night, but because my husband rented through Hotels.com, I did not appear to be in a position to afford that, so he did not provide that option. My boyfriend and I loved staying here at Hyatt Regency! The hotel is at the perfect location in downtown Seattle - right in the middle between Pike Place and Capital Hill. We arrived at the hotel at 10 am and we were able to get an early check-in. The check-in process was straightforward and quick. Because my boyfriend has status with Hyatt, it automatically gave us a late check-out time and he was able to request a room with a nice view. Since it was our anniversary, we received a handwritten card from the staff with a $25 voucher to use at their market. We used it to get an avocado toast and a (less than average) cup of Starbucks coffee. The food and drinks items are pretty overpriced but I can't complain since they were free. The hotel is newly built and the rooms have a modern feel to them. There were complimentary water bottles in the room for us to use. The room we were in gets plenty of light and is well lit. There is a nice couch area next to the window where you can sit and relax. There are small automatic light sensors next to the bed so you can see when you get up in the middle of the night. You can control the temperature of your own room, however, we tried to turn up the heater and it took 8 hours for the temperature to rise 2 degrees. Not a huge deal-breaker. I enjoyed my stay here and will be back next time we return to Seattle! read more

Welp, it did in fact get worse. My card was fraudulently charged for a meal I never had at the hotel restaurant I never even stepped foot in, and my personal silk pillowcase was taken from my room. It took countless phone calls, emails, and a BBB complaint until I was finally reimbursed for the cost - a full month later. I will never stay in this hotel again, and I will do everything possible to avoid staying at any Hyatt or Hyatt-owned hotel in the future. read more

My first time in Seattle and so glad this was the hotel I stayed at!!! My husband is a Hyatt member and booked this hotel with no issues a few weeks before we decided to make a trip over here - I had no prior knowledge of this hotel before we got there and it truly exceeded all my expectations! First issue: I made a formal complaint about the parking situation to the front desk staff. From my understanding, the parking garage is shared between the hotel and the public. With limited parking spots available and NO valet (even though advertised online), I was driving around in the garage for 30 minutes until a spot became available. For 40 dollars per night, I am disappointed. Second issue: Online, I booked a room with a king bed. However, when checking in they didn't have that available. We camped out in the bar to watch the Hawks game. It was packed and we had an eye test to see the TVs, but service was still good and we had a couple of beverages while we watched. Out on the street, there seems to be a central bus/shuttle drop off point. You know what that means.....good people watching! Clean hotel with a full gym. Parking overnight is around $43 and more on the weekends. Checking in and out was fast and simple. We had a room by the elevators and it was fairly quiet the first day but the second day we could hear people talking super loud in the morning. The two thing we didn't like about the room were the dim lighting (not sure why all hotels do this but it's so darn dark) and the shower is awkward. The opening allows all the water to splash out of the shower and making it super wet and messy on the floor afterwards. It seems like it needs to face the other way to avoid that issue. Love the dimmable mirror in the bathroom and cleanliness though. Wouldn't mind staying again but the shower issue should be addressed. read more

I decided to send my two adult children to Seattle, and used awards and points from my Hyatt credit card. This ended up being a very bad experience for them. My confirmation email showed one reservation but when they checked in, the girl said they have three separate reservations. She was very condescending and said don't look so scared to them. So off to a bad start. One night they decided to order drinks (no room service at the hotel). They each ordered three so they wouldn't have to walk back down each time. The person at Andari's accused them of having underage kids in the room, since they each ordered three. A very rude and unprofessional person. read more

The room was super modern and sleek, extremely clean and well arranged and...what to complain about when the receptionist gives you a room in the 41st floor with views to Union Lake...amazing. The hotel still smells new and is eco-friendly. Staff is super welcoming. Lobby is very pretty and everything is generally speaking very nicely looking, comfortable bed, great views, perfect location. I really enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Regency! I've stayed here nearly every trip to Seattle; about 3 times so far. It's clean, the location is convenient and within walking distance of tons of stuff, and they have easy check in with great views. They also have garage parking as well, so your car feels safe; though that is an extra fee and kind of expensive. I loved the view and the natural light. It was a very comfortable hotel room. Stayed here from 11. To 11.4. Wow such a great experience. Really good location and excellent interior. The rooms, hallways, and lobby was impeccable. The service was superb and the touch of all the restaurants, bars, and quick bites that were in the hotel made our experience the best that it could be and 10/10 would stay here again. Upon arrival the check in was super easy. The room was easy to find. Only thing to note is we did face an adjacent apartment complex. We didn't find it invasive but if it bothers you perhaps asking for one that doesn't face The Olivian. I should note a few things important for your stay if you plan to come and stay here. 1. There is no included breakfast. But they do have a market where you can buy small food if need be. 2. We didn't have a car but I believe they only offer valet. 3. Super easy pick up and drop off for any ride share options you use. 4. Two blocks from the Starbucks Roastary - we went twice! 5. Lots of coffee and dinner options within walking distance. 6. Couple blocks from Pike Place Market. We walked the whole time we were there. But again easy ride share options if you don't want to walk. 7. Fantastic service. We called down for extra lotion and they were at our door within a few minutes. We also got postmates delivered and they called to let us know they were on their way up. 8. Lastly, they have a bag check service if your flight leaves after check out. Great service and took good care of our bags.
