LOVE this place! I have been to a few events here and they just really know how to handle events. Multiple entrances so hotel guests aren't inconvenienced, stations with indoor lines, a bathroom for the event area. Just fantastic. Their grand ballroom is so iconic. I love getting to go up on the terrace to their gorgeous bar to look down and just take it all in. Such a magical spot. It feels like old Seattle and just has so much magic and charm. The bathrooms are amazing. There are TONS of stalls, lots of mirrors and lighting, and they keep it well stocked. Just fantastic. This place was OK. I've stayed at other Lotte locations ... i should have stayed with my initial choice of Seattle Marriott waterfront. If you're looking for a hotel that is handicap accessible at the front it's not quite that, our dad is in a scooter and is unable to step up the curb. He has to maneuver his scooter to the end of the blocks for the ramp areas to get to the hotel doors. Valet was trying to be helpful - the parking here is only valet unless you park nearby at one of the parking garages. I forgot what the cost was but I believe if you do the hotel Valet you can add that to your folio. The rooms are decent ... I booked through an agent so they did have trouble finding one of my bookings when I extended, my name and last name were switched so the manager had to help the other front desk person look for it. It was a bit stressful bc that weekend was fully booked. The restaurant in the hotel wasn't so bad, beautiful aesthetic and view. The food was good but quite pricey for the quality. read more

My partner and I have stayed at a range of luxury properties, so we chose the premier king suite at Lotte for our Spring staycation. Upon entering, we were greeted nicely by bellmen and reception. That's where it ends, unfortunately. Seems like turndown service is not offered, but that's not the issue. Ordered in room dining for breakfast and it never showed. Upon cancelling via hotel chat, it was dismissed and not acknowledged. We book spa appointments and confirmed availability, only to be told they couldn't commit to us. The house car, Lexus, was unavailable every time we asked to utilize that service. And finally, the tv channels were not fully working so basically, the only relaxing thing we could do was start using our phones (even though the idea was to relax). Reception was not able to allow us to borrow a book since we forget to pack one. All in all- would not recommend for anything other than needing a place to stay if it's the last resort available. read more

The representative I spoke with was harsh, dismissive, and unhelpful. Upon asking for specific details regarding the program's amenities, I was told that no information could be provided until the day of the reservation. Staffs lack knowledge of their own operations. They advertise "Lexus" shuttle and "Lexus"experiences like loan a car, on a first come first serve based. I call ahead every single day to try and coordinate a ride, i was met with a response "first come first serve." We Pretty much had to chase the driver around ourselves and figure out our shuttle situation. Alongside "front desk" holy sh*t. My room key did not work.(blaming it in maintenance sayin my door battery was dead) over 45 min wait for maintenance to say its not the battery. 45mins to get into my room. Very frustrating!!! My family stayed here for one night for a birthday occasion and had a pleasant experience! We were offered a complimentary drink, which I believe was some type of Korean traditional drink. In our room, they prepared a small dessert for our birthday, which was a sweet surprise! The room was vibrant with lots of mirrors. Service including checking in, room service, valet all went smoothly. We ordered room service for dinner and for breakfast the morning after. For dinner around 5:30PM, we ordered tomato soup, seared local halibut, red tomato pasta, grilled filet mignon, and homemade milk chocolate cookies + milk for dessert. Everything was filling and pretty tasty! The next morning, we ordered our breakfast - brioche French toast, cage-free omelet, and salmon bagel. I loved the mini jams for the toast, so cute! I tried the macarons from Lotte Hotel in Seattle, and even though they weren't fresh, they were impressive. Each bite was delicately soft and packed with flavor, surprisingly good for macarons that had been sitting out. If this is how they taste without being fresh, I can only imagine how amazing they'd be right out of the oven. read more

This was my first time staying at this South Korean luxury chain. Lobby is located on the 16th floor and has beautiful views. Also, restaurant and lounge located on 16th floor. Pros: Convenient freeway access Walking distance to Pike Place Market Views of Elliott Bay Suite was very roomy Modern design Cons: Parking is $72/night. (There are cheaper garages walking distance.) Entrance to the hotel seems to be an issue with Uber/Lyft. We went through 4 different drivers who kept turning the wrong way to get to the front of the hotel. The shower was too big; long like a hallway. Bathrooms have single use plastics. Boo. Would like to see them switch to refillable toiletries. Note: Spa uses Biologique Recherche products and rooms have Molton Brown products. Too bad they don't have South Korean beauty products. I would definitely return and I could see myself upping to 5 stars on a subsequent visit. read more

This is my third time stay at the lotte hotel. I couldnt remember last experience but this time it was not so great. 1. I called an hr before if i could get my room upgraded through my amex benefit. I was told it was moderate busy so i will be able to get it but i might have to wait till the room is cleaned 2. When i arrived, front desk said it is not available. Wtf i just talked to you an hr ago. Shouldv told me it was not available in the first place. But, he was at least nice. 3. Room- it had.. mildew smell.... Didnt smell like "hotel" .. not clean smell but the room looked cleaned. The bed is just horrible. My back still hurt!!! Not sure if there bed suppose to be like that but it was not comfy at all!! At night, it also smelled like cigarette coming out of vent. Literally smelled like cheap motel smell. 4. Food was good. Happy hr.. not so good. But their mail dinner was good for the price & their manhattan drink was actually really good. I do not know how their seating works but i was told the dining is full. But for two hrs. There were many tables that were empty. Im not sure if they were short handed but from my eyes they had many servers that they were chitchatting by the bar area. 5.overall, in my opinion, this is not worth $300-500 a night hotel. My partner and I booked the Lotte after a 4 day back country back packing trip. We wanted something a little nicer since we had been out and about for days without a proper bed, meals etc. The staff at the Lotte welcomed us in such a nice friendly manner. We were offered a nice little gift of chocolates made in house and they were absolutely delicious. The staff made sure you knew they were there for you and anything you needed it was their priority to make sure everything was going 100% for you. The room itself was nice. Roomy, modern and the view we had was awesome, good glimpse of downtown, the river, stadiums (if you like sports). You are also closed to Pikes, the water front space needle and all the other tourist attractions. They also have a conference area, gym, sauna and spa. As well as a nice restaurant with good food and a bar with everything you need to wind down. They make it very comfortable for you to want to stay in and not venture out Would we stay here again. This is a weird hotel. It's clearly aimed at luxury class accommodations and certainly Lotte in South Korea is exactly that (and also a fine maker of delicious snacky things!) but this Seattle location has too many things off to put it in class with the best hotels; this is a four star establishment, not a five, but you'll be paying five star prices! The first impressions here are good. You'll be greeted warmly at the front entrance by all the staff and the valet are quick to get to you if you pull your car up. The valet does take a fair bit of time as the lot appears to be some distance away (or some procedure that takes a bit of time) but it's not for a lack of attentiveness. The good impression continue in the lobby and with the first glimpses of the bar and restaurant. I've written about the dining and drinking spaces in other reviews so I'll just concentrate on the registration desk. I love the natural wood touches to the front of the desk that give it some of that PNW aesthetic that they're really striving for in much of the design. The service is nice but a little distant from most people I've interacted with, and some of the non-native speakers can come across a little awkward when they're sorting out things for you. The first really strange vibe you're going to get is in the hallways leading to the rooms. There's clearly a tree theme happening here that I know was carefully considered and came from someone's inspiration but it fails hard to establish the right mood for this place. The tree graphic is laid into the carpet and has branches leading to each room - a nice touch but the design is two tone color and looks rather amateur even though I know it's not. To make matters worse, someone chose orange and black as the two colors you're going to enjoy which means instead of the warm and autumnal feelings of Seattle you're going to be thinking Halloween. Seriously, orange is the color of anxiety so I'm not sure what they were thinking with this as it really gives you a strange feeling heading to your room. The rooms themselves are nice enough and again feel like proper design taste has been applied but they don't feel very luxury to me. Mostly it has a 1950's interior homey feel with strange arced doors for the bathroom. It feels like a cross between boutique design, incorporation of the local environment, and highbrow craftsman interior of yesteryear. Maybe you'll like it but I find the whole thing kind of unappealing and wish for something more modern or warm. Food here is a combination of bland and annoying. For example, they love large stringy broccolini in the food here, and eating it is always awkward; it would be forgiven if the veggie was prepared with any interesting flavor but sadly it tastes as is. I Had a burger here that came out on flat stone plate which meant that cutting the burger in any way ended up with lots of bits regularly falling off the side (also the burger too was bland and closer meatloaf in texture!) I've had a lot of the different food offerings here and I think only the morning omelets satisfy - the rest I would skip and head over to places like Lola and Artusi for some truly delicious local eats. The bar is really great. This is an area of the hotel that really works and the combination of the design, lighting, and wood really make everything feel very warm. This combined with the spectacular views of the city make for a really special drink or five. So it's not too bad but the prices put it into the do-not-recommend category. It's considerably more expensive to stay here than say, The Shilla in Seoul, but with nowhere near the service, amenities, comfy rooms or delicious food. I would skip it. read more

This hotel is a bit mediocre for how it advertises itself. It claims to be a 5-star luxury hotel, but it's 4 stars at best. This property has no business being the top rated hotel on a certain popular, travel review site/app. Pros: Rooms are spacious and have most of the in-room amenities you would expect at this price point. Room included an empty fridge for stocking our food items. Beds were comfortable. House keeping was reasonably responsive to our requests. Hotel is centrally located with easy access to the freeway. It is walkable to Pike Place without being too close to all of the hullabaloo. Cons: Some of the design choices are a horror show. Halloween-themed hallways. Mirrors everywhere except where you need them. A mirror facing the toilet from the door, but no mirror where the sinks are. Even the upper floor restaurant's bathroom is structured like a carnival house of mirrors. The downstairs entry area is awkward/narrow/crowded, and the elevator can get crowded. The hotel goes out of its way to advertise the designer, Philipe Starck, but i) the overall design of the rooms gives the impression of a voyeur that can't make functional design decisions, and 2) this property is not listed on Mr. Starck's portfolio when you look up his biography. Despite only being about 5 years old, the room felt somewhat worn and dated. The couch facing the window looked like it had been shredded by cats. The shower temperature control did not stay in place. The bathroom lacked an exhaust fan. The marble night stands were full of water/cup stains. The technology felt outdated despite the 2020 opening date. The Samsung TV could barely run Netflix without latency. The user interface of the lighting system was poorly designed. Valet took nearly 20 minutes to bring us our car during departure even though there wasn't a line of people. Luckily, valet parking was comped for the stay, but it's over $70/day! If you like to watch yourself on the crapper for luxury hotel prices, this is the place to be in Seattle. Otherwise, there are probably better options. read more

We stayed here for 6 nights and had an outstanding experience. We arrived way earlier than normal check-in time, so we were thinking we may have to just drop off our bags at the hotel and come back later. When we first walked in to the doors, they guy working told us we could try heading up to reception on the 16th floor and because a lot of times the room is ready early. The hotel restaurant & lounge- Charlotte- is also located on the 16th floor. We headed up and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready and could check-in early. Sun Woo was very welcoming and we told her it was my first time in Seattle and we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The next day we received an anniversary dessert in our room! Very thoughtful. We stayed on the 10th floor. The rooms are bright, modern, and meticulous! Very stunning with lots of mirrors to make the room look even bigger. Housekeeping usually makes up the rooms between 8-9am and they will only stop by if the Privacy is turned off. There were a few times we left a little later, but dialed the front desk and they were able to make up the room while we were out. We interacted with a lot of different staff during our stay and every single person was friendly and pleasant. Every time we entered and exited the hotel, we were acknowledged in some capacity. The service alone earns this hotel all the stars. We had a minor issue with our booking (on the Amex side) and the front desk staff (Sun) was so helpful and worked to help make it right. Not only was she courteous and helpful during check-in she was super thoughtful by listening to the reason for our stay (Babymoon) and brought a gift and dessert to our room as congratulations (how nice!) Our whole stay all the staff was nice and helpful (bringing extra items to the room, offering umbrellas, etc). We opted for a city view room which was perfect for us. The room was pristine, packed with the essentials, and restocked fully on a daily basis. We had drinks in their lounge one night and breakfast at Charlotte (amazing bay views) another day, both were great. The hotel is also pretty centrally located: quick walk to Pike Place and the Monorail (to get to Space Needle, MoPop, and Chihuly Gardens). Also has convenient drugstore, Amazon go and Starbucks nearby. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

Clean, modern, comfortable, warm. Every step of the way, the staff at Lotte made us feel valued and welcome. Only open since September 2020, they have taken great pride and care in offering guests a comfortable and warm stay. Reservations were easy to make, and upheld wonderfully. Everyone truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The rooms are beautiful and unique, with creative use of window spaces to allow for views of the city and Sound. The food (currently only in-room dining) is fabulous! Especially the turkey, burrata club on ciabatta, which was so good, we ordered it daily. Breakfast eggs/omelettes could use some help, but everything else was beautifully presented and tasted great. Only valet parking is available (or street parking on your own), for $60/night with in and out privileges. It's a lovely spot for guests from out of town, as well as a city getaway for locals. I enjoyed my stay at Lotte hotel. Please listen to Jazmine (works at check-in desk) when she advises you on routes to local restaurants and tourist areas. I took a detour on my first day and ended up walking down a hill so steep I felt like I would roll down it if I leaned too far forward. I ended up using muscles I forgot I had. I also ran into an area where the steps seemed everlasting. By the time I reached my destination, I thought I was going to need CPR. So, if they recommend a route, please take it. Pros: Check-in was relatively easy. Very clean. Housekeeping here is amazing. Beautiful views of the city and water. Close (walking distance) to everything you would need on a trip. Safe. You have to have a keycard to get off on floors with rooms. Without a keycard, you can only access the restaurant and lobby. I absolutely loved the slippers (it's the small things). Both Pro and Con: Depending on who is working, the valet attendants are usually very helpful. However, there are a couple that will stand there and stare at you without offering assistance. Cons: Beds uncomfortable. Mirrors in weird places. Louder than I would expect for this level of hotel. During my stay, I constantly heard pipes banging, floors creaking, and popping when the heat came on. You could also hear all of the police car, ambulance, and fire truck sirens. All of this constant noise made it hard to sleep. I would return. read more

It's interesting to see the Lotte conglomerate opening up places outside of South Korea and I was happy to partake in the experience. The location was ideal and it was within walking distance the piers. I really like how spacious the room was - though the multiple mirrors set up was a bit too much and it felt like they tried to cram a lot of unnecessary furniture into the room to make it seem less empty. Really, what are you going to do with all of the chairs? The other complaint I have is the bed. While it was comfortable, it was on the shorter side - my feet was dangling a bit with the pillow to the headboard. I had to lie slightly diagonal to sleep comfortably. Requires a mandatory 20% service fee but the service was poor- mainly slow and inattentive. Tables are dirty and bussed inattentively. Sticky. Kinda gross at this price point. I'll try again in 6 months and see if they've got it together, why should I pay $25 for a glass of wine to have a sticky dirty table? Again, beautiful place with a serious investment. Tl;dr: boutique pricing for a weird aesthetic and pretty bad customer service. Is it cool? Generally. 16th floor reception. Mirrors on every surface (sexy?). Decent views (though the hotel is only the bottom 16 floors of the building). But I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that told me no as many times as this place did. We went to grab a late dinner at 930 after a show, when the dining room closed at 10, just to be told they were closed and we could have their limited menu. We asked for late check out and were told to get up early to ask the next day, only to be told no because the rooms "were very in demand". We called for room service and was told it would be 90 minutes, so we went to the restaurant to get the pastries and mimosas ourselves only to be told they couldn't give us drinks "to go" (but they could bring them to our room if we would wait 90 minutes?). And it just went on like this for two days. The room was fun enough. Definitely interesting if you're putting together a spicier outing, and more fun and modern than some other rooms around town (fairmont Olympic, for example) but at that price point I'd love if the staff even pretended to want to fulfill a single request. And like other commenters said, the bathroom situation is just outright weird. 100% won't stay again. read more

Stayed one night on our way to Alaska. Very nice rooms, but not 5-star. Not only were we charged $8 each for a cup of coffee, but also an additional Urban fee plus tax on the urban fee that totaled an additional $28+. So, with tip, taxes and fees, our two cups of coffee cost almost $50. We were not told at any point to expect this extra fee. Very unethical! On the positive side, they did refund the extra, unethical fees. I definitely don't recommend this hotel! I give them 2 stars only because they refunded the fees. read more

My partner and I came to seattle and stayed at the Lotte Hotel to attend the Teatro ZinZanni show in residence there. We really enjoyed our stay! The room, the amenities and hospitality were amazing. We stayed in the premium suite with a gorgeous view of seattle right in front of our bed! We were able to have two quiet nights of sleep in a big beautiful room. The bed was super comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job of providing us with extra towels and covers in a timely fashion. The heat in the room was exceptional after coming in from the cold. The sauna and steam room after a long day of walking around seattle was a great way to decompress and warm back up. We advise everyone to stay at the Lotte Hotel and attend the Teatro ZinZanni show before it ends in late march of 2024! read more

The mirrors everywhere are cool, but they're all dirty. They need more Windex and elbow grease I think. I actually tried to see if I could polish the spots so we could enjoy the room more. It really makes the room dingey feeling and takes away from the experience. The bathroom is cool but as my lady says isn't well designed for a women. The lighting is bad and ironically there is no vanity mirror, only a static makeup mirror that my lady had to awkwardly hunch to see. Other than that, the service is good, the valet is very appreciated... clearly a luxury hotel but with a few things that could make it better. read more

Two stars for the comfortable rooms - but everything else about this place is downright WEIRD and kind of sketchy. -First, I couldn't get a confirmation of my reservation. No e-mail, nothing. So I called, and a woman at the front desk said she would "try" but there was no guarantee of being able to send me a confirmation. Uhhh...what? (Nothing came, so I e-mailed them again a week or so later, and at that point they sent me a confirmation.) -Second, the tipping situation is just bizarre. They add 20% for "service", so I thought that was a tip, and the description sure makes it sound like a tip. Then halfway through my stay, one of the servers said "no we actually don't get that money" and I felt super awkward and obligated to leave an additional tip. This soon got ridiculous as the fees/tips on a room service meal were like 60% of the actual cost of the food. -Third, someone came in to clean the room at like 7:45 am on my last morning there, even with the "privacy" notice still on. She tried to explain that I was "marked for checkout" and they had to clean the room...idk, it was just awkward. -Fourth, and most importantly, I had a very strong reaction to one of their drinks (after just a sip), in a way that makes me suspect there was actually something toxic going on. I e-mailed them with details assuming they'd want to check it out / prevent other guests from getting sick, but I haven't heard a peep. All of this made my experience uncomfortable, to say the least. This is a short review but I'll try to stay on point. Positives: super friendly staff, amazingly clean and spacious rooms. Delicious food with great views at the restaurant. Nicely located in the heart of downtown Seattle. Easy checkin/checkout and did I mention the front desk staff is one of the best front desk staff is one of the sweetest and nicest staff? They treated my wife and I to a nice anniversary surprise (thank you)! Negatives: the surrounding streets are a little hilly for walking (that's downtown Seattle though) and parking may be a little difficult. The streets were fairly accessible by Uber though. This hotel is nice, but the service and the representation of services is a 1 star. I bought a package for the teatrozinzanni, confirmed on my receipt that it was included and when I got to the show they informed me the hotel had misled multiple people and it wasn't included. I ended up paying an additional 500 for tickets because it was a gift. When I called the hotel they responded that they can see how it's misleading and would talk to their marketing department but did nothing to compensate the extraordinary cost I ended up paying for the evening. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lotte for one night on June 9th, 2023. From when we entered the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome by SunWoo. SunWoo was professional, kind, and helpful and made checking in and out of our room a smooth process. Our room was not ready yet and Sunwoo talked to us about the amenities we could use while we waited for our room. Greatly enjoyed using the spa and gym. I took a point off as I found someone's contact lens next to my bed stuck on the mirror. I do have to say I found the amount of mirrors and pictures hung a little too much, but when you entered the room on the side of the wall had a small description of the artwork behind how the room was designed which was cool to read. P.S. loved the location of the hotel! Close to Pike's Place Market, Chihuly Glass Garden, Space Needle, China town, and so much more! read more

Reception desk is on the 16th floor, which took us a few minutes to figure out as there was no one at all in the ground-level lobby when we arrived. Parking situation is not ideal - either pay $72 per night for valet parking or find street parking, which can be difficult. Hotel room was clean and modern. Bathroom was spacious with a large shower area but no bathtub. Shower had weak water pressure and water was not very hot. The bathroom amenities were disappointing - shampoo/conditioner/shower gel were in those tiny bottles that are really difficult to squeeze anything out of. Most hotels these days seem to utilize refillable pump bottles/containers which are much easier to handle and more environmentally friendly. We were also not provided enough bath towels (less than number of people staying there). Overall, it was fine but not an outstanding experience. read more

There's hidden fees like urban fee(?) and bunch of other fees so called taxes, no ev charging during valet, we kept the curtain closed at all times due to the building in our view and the only thing that was luxury and pleasant was how friendly and kind all the staff were. Will not stay again. Not worth $500/night price tag for room and $75+ for valet parking. read more

I just want to say, this review is long overdue. We hit the ground running when we returned home from our vacation trip to Seattle. So, hopefully, the powers that be at Lotte Hotel Seattle will have an opportunity to read my review on behalf of my husband and myself. We stayed at the hotel the hotel Sunday, 9/27/20 & Monday, 9/28/20. I'm a fairly private individual so this is why my actual name is not used for Yelp! reviews. Positively the BEST, most AMAZING birthday experience I've ever had! Please see images below of the thoughtful birthday card from the entire staff, AWESOME complementary gifts of Lotte choco pies in various flavors that were SO good! :D!!!! Everything thoughtfully arranged by the lovely and supremely professional Mr. Victor Caguindagan, General Manager for this exquisite Lottle Hotel location in Seattle. I'm incredibly grateful to each and every staff member at the Lotte Hotel in Seattle, WA for allowing my husband and me to feel so well taken care of...especially during this very unusual time humanity is collectively sharing at this time. Because of Covid-19 we're not able to shake hands right now. Bowing is the prominent form of greeting in Asian cultures which of course worked extraordinarily well in this beautiful setting as we all observed and practiced social distancing. If you're not one for alcohol, the Water of Life drink is light and refreshing. The warm chocolate soufflette was the perfect birthday cake substitute served with aplomb by our kind waitstaff who were always professional, polite and did not hover but seemed to intuitively show up whenever we had a question or needing something. Everything was wonderful! After dinner, we came back to our room to a GORGEOUS and unexpected birthday bouquet! (please see photo below). THE ROOM Spacious, lots of mirrors and a VERY comfortable King size bed with clean, crisp linens. The bathroom is fully supplied with pretty, clear lucite comb, tooth brushes, toothpaste, and razor for shaving. My husband and I both agreed that the room was thoughtfully laid out and altogether supremely welcoming after our meetings we'd scheduled in Seattle for the days we were there. The shower was comfortably large with multiple options for shower heads. Rainfall was my choice as it was lovely and relaxing. Fuji water is available when you first arrive as well as for purchase in the room. Le SPA de l'hôtel LOTTE Dreamy, beautifully thought-out with a thoroughly calming, professional staff I was grateful they were able to accommodate me for my request of a 3 hour massage which was AMAZING. My husband did a facial and came back to the room with glowing skin and absolutely relaxed. Such a positive experience overall we would absolutely recommend Le SPA de l'hôtel LOTTE if you're staying at the hotel. I just want to reiterate how well taken care of Mr. Caguindagan and his professional, kind, differential staff were for the entire time we were guests here. If you're wanting to pamper yourself, please, stay at the Lotte Hotel Seattle. We'll definitely be returning soon. read more
