Since I got my Prius, it's hard to find an honest auto/hybrid shop who can do an awesome job. I should have gone to Hybrid Pit sooner since I live close by the shop. Sean and Roger really takes care of my car. They do a great job installing modifications to my liking and regular maintenance. Most of the mods and electrical that have been worked on, I would trust them the most. Another shop messed up my wirings putting on my fog lights. Sean addressed the issue to me and fixed it right away and added some modifications. He even showed me what was wrong and what he's doing next so there's no hiding to what he works on. After it was done, my Prius looks like a beauty again. There's no other hybrid shop that can do it better other than the Hybrid Pit. They work on other non hybrid cars too. Pricing aren't bad. If you're from SoCal and reading PriusChat, I'm sure you know about this wonderful place, but if you don't, I'll tell you a little. I was able to make an appointment via Facebook, which is very convenient considering that my English is beginner level. I was late because of the rain (but no one said anything bad about it). Mike met me and quickly told me everything and showed me everything. The guys are very clean and comfortable. Both in the guest area and in the garage. there is drinking water and a toilet (which is important if you, like me, came to clean the EGR system, because it is not quick), and the guys also treated me to pizza. I also asked for a full diagnosis and a smiling Richard came out several times and said what could be changed, repaired and how much it would cost. Richard also showed what improvements were sold in their store and talked about their advantages. when you come to HybridPit, you definitely realize that you are in the right place, where professionals and just good guys work. Decided to stop by the shop with my Prius while I was in the area for what I thought might be a head gasket on its way out. I did tons of research that only made me think I had more issues than I did. The guys took the time to go over my car with me and came to the conclusion it was more of a water pump issue. I scheduled an appointment with them to have the water pump replaced. While the car was there I also had them do an EGR cleaning, injector cleaning, spark plugs, transmission fluid, and everything that's typically suggested at 100k miles. Took my 2013 Toyota Prius to have my D2 Coilovers installed and adjusted. Sean the Lead Mechanic took his time and had everything dialed in about an hour and half. I had them lower the car to a fairly low stance but with my setup we had rubbing issues. Sean readjusted the suspension and made sure everything was running with no issues. Top notch install. It was also great to speak with a Roger and reminisce about the "Old Days". We were talking so much I forgot to take pics of the process. They specialize in all things Prius but are not limited to just Prius's. They work on all types of cars as well. I was leaving an event in Buena Park, when I noticed my car started hesitating and the engine light was displayed. I immediately drove to the nearest auto repair shop I could find. It was not located in the usual shop front location. But there I found Roger and his fellow mechanic who were very helpful. They did a diagnosis check and found there was a recall on a part which needed to be replaced. They were able to reset and advised I should go to a dealership if the engine light was to go on again.
