Tesla and Prius drivers this is the ONLY spot to go when you need work done on your car! We had a suspension issue on my gfs model 3 and David was amazing at educating us on what needed to be done and what him / his team can do to help us and he did so quickly. Let us know all the routes we can take and always communicated to us what each part and labor costs (even included pictures of the what needed to be replaced and explained why) and always asked approval before moving forward with anything. They were beyond reasonable in pricing every step of the way and very well organized. We picked up the car and everything was done exactly as expected, the price was exactly what he had quoted us and what we had approved (unlike other shady shops who tack things on later). I recently had my windshield replaced and a notice came up that the a/c climate control was faulty. After reading reviews on Yelp for Electric City I decided to stop by this morning and ask about it. Something you can't do easily at a Tesla Service Center. I spoke with David, he ran a quick test, and determined that it finally had calibrated on its own and should work fine. I asked if he had time to change the air filter and new windshield wipers. He did both while I waited and to top it off he didn't charge. Called and spoke to Cesar who took my info and had David, who is the resident Tesla tech expert, call me to discuss what was going on with my rear door handle that was no longer presenting. David set up my appointment for the following morning (super quick) and gave me a price quote over the phone. When we got there, David suggested we replace the same part in the drivers door as well since they tend to corrode and break from water damage unexpectedly. So glad we did as it was barely hanging on! Repair for both door handles took about an hour an a half, we walked down the block and had breakfast at a nice little restaurant while we waited (bonus!). I wanted to perform a preventive maintenance oil and filter exchange on the drive unit of my 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWW but kept getting runaround just for an estimate from TSC. Found this family owned Electric Vehicle repair shop after frustrating experience with Tesla Service Center (TSC) thru Yelp and it was the best no haggle, no nonsnense experience I've had with any auto repair. They also were able to perform a complete cleaning of the AC condenser/radiator from top to bottom where most DIY tutorials only show to do partiall cleaning only from the top. David was very prefessional and detailed in explaining all the work done, very prompt, and all the staff where very nice. On top of that the price I paid was half what TSC quoted me and they used original Tesla parts. I highly recomend this place, don't waste your time and money at TSC!!!! read more

I had my old reflector headlights swapped for the matrix ones, and they did a great job. Easy location to find, and the guys were professional. They managed to complete the replacement and software update in about 1 hour. Price is very reasonable. They even had a spot for me to sit and work from my laptop. An absolute MUST for Tesla owners. I just purchased a used Tesla Model S and wanted to add the optional rear facing, "third row" child seats. I went to the dealership and they were absolutely no help. They seemed almost annoyed by the fact that I came in to ask for service. I traded some work for a 2013 Tesla Model 3 from a customer of mine. I got it with my cluster not working, some alarms on the dash, and it wouldn't go past 50 mph. I was driving on the freeway when I heard a thunk noise and the car shut down. I was in a bind and had to be towed off thinking that this would be an expensive repair. I made an appointment with Tesla only to find that I was given a minimum estimate of $6000 for diagnostics and potential repairs. I contacted the customer who traded me the vehicle and we worked out a deal where I would find a good location for repair. I found Teslamania with Tony and David so I had the car towed over immediately. The Teslamania team was quick to receive the vehicle, quick to provide a repair quote at 1/3 of Tesla's "minimum" repair quote, and assured me it would be a quick turn around. Well, here I am today to say my car is running beautifully with new contactors, and a new pyro fuse. David was incredible to work with the entire time with his wealth of knowledge and comfor with my vehicle. He knew exactly the issue when the car went in based on my description and checked it with the tools at their disposal. So my Model 3 headlight went out. I stopped at Tesla and they said they'd have to replace it and they charge $1700 for the headlight alone(!?!?!?). I said I'm not contributing to elon musk's $50billion bonus so I found these guys. They are fantastic. They popped open the frunk to check out the headlight and found that a mouse had chewed the insulation off the wires. He re-did the wires and wrapped them and all the other visible mouse-accessible wires with tape that is repellent to mice. $250. Really nice guys; its not a luxury resort with free coffee like Tesla service (which you're really paying for anyway), but unlike Tesla service these guys actually get their hands in there like real mechanics! Awesome, so happy.. I will be back with more work for them. read more

David was really great and quick to diagnose my wheel problem. Loud noises were coming from when wheel while I was in motion especially in reverse. He removed my rim and saw that a pine cone was stuck in the wheel. He removed my tire and removed the lodged pine cone. I just had my passenger side tail light repaired after it got busted by something. My regular certified Tesla body shop estimated the repair to cost about a $1000, which was the extent of my deductible. Most of the cost was due to labor from Tesla required testing.
