I recently stopped by Hyderabad Cafe in Suwanee, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! This newly opened restaurant serves authentic Hyderabadi cuisine in a casual dine-in setting, and it definitely lives up to its reputation. For lunch, I tried the Apollo Fish and Vijayawada Chicken Biryani, and both were excellent. The Apollo Fish was perfectly fried with a crispy coating, then tossed in flavorful South Indian spices, curry leaves, and green chilies that gave it a delicious balance of heat and aroma. The Vijayawada Chicken Biryani was equally impressive--fragrant long-grain basmati rice cooked with tender, juicy chicken and bold Andhra-style spices. It had just the right level of spice and was packed with authentic flavor in every bite. Before leaving, I also picked up Pineapple and Black Forest pastries to-go. Both were fresh, light, and not overly sweet, making for a perfect dessert after a satisfying meal. The restaurant has a fresh, modern ambiance with beautiful oversized artificial trees that give the dining area a unique and inviting look. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided great customer service throughout our visit. Prices are very reasonable, and there's ample free parking since it's located in a shopping plaza right next to Patel Brothers. If you're craving authentic Hyderabadi food in the Suwanee area, Hyderabad Cafe is definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be back to try more items from their extensive menu! read more

So pretty inside! The service was okay, I felt the server was attentive but also seemed maybe tired or over it on that day. I felt the same when i ordered at the dessert place (which was a nice touch) but the service was kinda mid... I had the idly sambar and then some tandoori lollipops. The latter was the best, flavorful and tender. The idly was good and soft but the sambar was incredibly spicy (for me). Not sure I'd return but I would recommend for those into spicy food read more

We were visiting Atlanta , and found this place when we went to Srirangam restaurant . We stopped by to see if they had desserts , cakes etc and they had some . Loved their interiors and the paintings all around . Really good ambience and lots and lots of seats to sit and eat . Had dil kush / coconut bun/cake and it was really good . Also tried some of their cakes it was good .. was a little expensive though. Coffee was good. Went for a quick snack this time but I'll have to go back for a full meal or dinner sometime later . I really loved the Ambience than the food. The staff were welcoming and the service was quick. They have a bakery section too and also they make cakes. New indian place in Suwanee. Located in the complex surrounded by other indian stores (patels, honest etc.). Really neat ambiance and huge seating area inside. Great place for big groups to dine in. The have the usual items on the menu plus some specialities that you dont find at other indian restaurants. We tried few items of the menu (butter chicken, naan & biryani). The food was really good, not oily or greasy. They were out of few desserts. We are def going to return to try more menu items. Service was a bit slow (all the workers were friendly). However they could improve on few things. Calling out order numbers or text updates when order is ready, checking with customers etc. Overall a decent place. Hope they keep up with it. What a fabulous gem! Excellent customer service- greeted at the door, welcomed by every server who came by the table and they had me at the all beaten copper-colored place setting with a Goblet! Menu is a delight with some excellent weekend additions to an already stellar list. Enjoyed the Aloo Gobi (traditional- so good), fresh, hot Jasmine Rice, and Malai Chicken Kabob (tender, flavorful) served with a refreshing Mint Sauce. Mango Lassi was thick, tangy and creamy a perfect accompaniment to the spices and heat! Water pitcher at the table, same beaten copper metal is a nice touch! Tables or booths able to accommodate your intimate party or large group. Very clean, and attention to detail. Server was so helpful with our questions. Dessert case was "diner-esque"temptation! Decor is colorful, nouveau India visually enticing, an excellent backdrop to the dining experience. Parking is plentiful in the plaza and easy to get to from 400 or Peachtree Parkway. We went for dinner and it was busy so the service was slow. We ordered veg hot and sour soup, haryali veg kabab, mutton biryani and gutti vankaya biryani and mango lassi. The soup was very spicy, we couldn't even eat a spoonful and the server was kind enough to not charge us. Mutton biryani was just ok, gutti vankaya biryani was missing salt. I stopped by today for a vegetarian meal and wanted to have some eggplant. The waiter took our order and said it would be 15 mins then they were gone for while to come back and tell me the chef told me we don't have that. I left highly disappointed.
