While the office offered me a discount for a second surgery, I still paid a significant amount out-of-pocket. Sadly, the second procedure also failed. When I reached out to Dr. Ali and his office to discuss my concerns and explore solutions, their only suggestion was to attempt the procedure a third time. I expressed that I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with them due to the risk of experiencing the same outcome. I wanted to seek care from another doctor I could trust. In response, Dr. Ali acknowledged that he may not have the necessary skill set to perform the procedure successfully and stated that he would instruct the office to issue me a refund. After taking some time to carefully consider my options, I contacted the office to request my refund--only to be told they would not be providing one. I have since spoken to others who have had similarly negative experiences with this office, and I've even heard Dr. Ali referred to as "The Butcher of Newport." The stress, time away from my family, and financial burden caused by this ordeal have been immeasurable. I had such a great first impression of Dr. Smith, there was no going back! Talking with him, hearing the care that he genuinely has for his patient's health and well-being, made me even more firm in my decision to go through with it! Dr. Smith was so patient in explaining the process and what I could expect as a realistic outcome. I also loved how conservative he was with the procedures he was willing to do in one surgery (he wouldn't do a tummy tuck and BBL at the same time), he definitely wasn't trying to upsell his services and truly seemed to care and prioritize my health. After he explained his reasoning, there was no way that I would trust going to a different surgeon who was willing to do both in the same surgery (One of the three consultations was, and that was an automatic no for me). When the consultation ended, and my husband and I left Dr. Smith's office, I had such peace about going through with the surgery. Dr. Smith set the bar very high and the other two surgeons didn't come close! The surgery itself was so quick and easy, Dr. Smith's team were so calming that instead of feeling anxious about going into surgery, I was super excited! Dr. Smith's staff is top-tier! I followed Dr. Smith's post-op orders to a T and everything has worked out beautifully (I'm five months post-op). I've had no major issues with any part of my recovery, my belly button and incisions look amazing! He did the most perfect job in my opinion, and I feel so sexy, feminine, and confident in my new bralette. I'm also so glad I didn't go too big. At first, I wanted 480cc's, but a week before surgery, Dr. K suggested we go with 450cc's for the most natural, flattering look. Best decision ever! We went under the muscle with gummy implants, and the results are flawless. From start to finish, Dr. K has been amazing. He answers every single question I have -- whether it's over text, FaceTime, or in person. If I want to stop by the office, he gets me in right away. His bedside manner is unmatched, and I've felt 100% comfortable and cared for every step of the way. I had a consultation with a "famous" Instagram surgeon before choosing Dr. K, and honestly, there's no comparison. Dr. K's skill, attention to detail, and genuine care for his patients are what really matter -- not Instagram followers. I've already told all my friends they need to go to him. I'd…read morelike to start by saying that the office staff was always very kind. 360 TUMMY TUCK: 7/10 For the most part, I am still very happy with the tummy tuck procedure. I did have a complicated recovery with necrosis of the belly button, but you would not be able to tell now. My scars are alright, I've definitely seen much better... but I tattooed over mine anyway so it didn't matter much to me. However, during the consultation I made it a huge point that there was a part of my lower back that I was very unhappy with. Dr K documented and explained that it would be lipo'd and he would excise it if necessary. I have a scar in the area, but it looks like it wasn't touched AT ALL. Definitely no lipo in the area, just a normal tummy tuck scar, but it doesn't go all the way under the area of concern. So it looks like he left it untouched. When I brought this up at my several post op appointments, he told me to wait a year. After a year, he brushed it off. I am now left with this incredibly awkward small lump right above my butt crack that has left me incredibly insecure. BREAST IMPLANTS AND NIPPLE LIFT: 1/10 I already had breast tissue (about a 36 C) but deflated after weight loss. I really wanted to fill them back up and make them perky again. Because of how deflated they were, I was expecting to get a breast lift, which other surgeons also mentioned to me. During the consultation, Dr K was very adamant that he would NOT do a lift, because I was in my early 20's. His reasoning was that they would need to be redone after I had kids... so I told him that I do not plan to have children. He told me that I might change my mind - which is absolutely NOT for him to decide or even have a say in. He told me he could do a nipple lift on my right side and it would make them look even and perky without the lift. I trusted him. My nipple is now OVAL ladies. OVAL. Completely mismatched. Extremely embarrassing. I also have had rippling, it feels like the implants are underfilled. I can literally crunch the bags and you can see it. When I lay down, they go to the side completely and my chest is flat. When I bend forward, they droop and look absolutely disgusting. I was also very concerned about the left breasts shifting so much to the side when I work out, that it completely deforms and pulls the bag. He told me "you can't work out your chest." This was a YEAR after surgery. He literally said I cannot work out, and that was the answer. Six years later and I have extremely heavy, sagging implants that are weighing my chest down. My nipples fall over the crease of my breast, and it's extremely uncomfortable and they've made me feel so embarrassed. I am now having to save money to get the lift that I should have gotten 6 years ago, and hoping that another doctor can fix my nipple and the underlying damage. I will never get these past 6 years back (and the next few years that I spend saving up.) So I hope this saves someone else.

Unfortunately, I am still suffering from the results over 10 years later and cannot afford to repair the mistakes. I continue to have a double bubble issue on both breasts. After my first surgery, I experienced complications and developed a hematoma. I later went back in to fix the issues, but the outcome remained the same. What has been most difficult is that I was never offered a proper solution, revision support, or even a meaningful follow-up conversation about next steps. I paid over $8,000 for a surgery that has left me deeply insecure for more than a decade. I avoid bikinis, feel uncomfortable in my own body, and honestly feel heartbroken over the results. I have since consulted with other surgeons who explained that the implant placement was not done correctly, which likely contributed to the double bubble deformity and overall appearance. They also explained what would be required to repair the damage, but I simply cannot afford another $10,000 surgery. I am sharing this because, for years, I stayed quiet. I tried to be polite, not bother anyone, and even blamed myself. But now at 36, I've reached a breaking point and feel it's important to speak honestly about my experience. I hope women take the time to research thoroughly, meet with multiple surgeons and not go to the first surgeon they google like I did and ask difficult questions, and really think through their decision before moving forward. We were able to do FaceTime consultations along with in-person appointments, which made planning everything so much easier. They also worked with me on financing, which I really appreciated. The staff is incredibly kind and supportive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. It's worth noting that he is a busy surgeon, so you do need to be patient with scheduling -- but in my opinion, that speaks to how in-demand and trusted he is. One thing that really stood out to me was the environment of the office. It has a strong faith-based presence, and while I'm not personally religious, I found it surprisingly comforting. I was told that during the building process, he would come in and write scripture within the structure of the office, which I thought was such a meaningful and intentional touch. At this point, I developed capsular contracture on my left side, causing the breast to feel hard, tight, and unnatural. On the right side, the implant dropped significantly lower than the left, creating visible asymmetry and uneven nipple positioning. I also experienced poor scar healing around my right areola, with the scar remaining thick, raised, and persistently itchy nearly a year later. To be fair, Dr. Kosins did acknowledge the asymmetry during my September appointment, discussed revision options with me, and his office provided information regarding the Allergan warranty coverage. I understand capsular contracture is a known risk of breast augmentation surgery and not necessarily the result of negligence. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of continued follow-up and support afterward. After the initial discussion regarding revision options and warranty information, there was no further outreach, follow-up phone call, scheduling assistance for next steps, or even scheduling of my one-year post-op appointment/check-in.
