I have been here once sometime last year and had a good experience. With my last trip overseas and the holidays rush, I was worn out. Called Hydration Room before the last day of the year and Brooke was able to get me in that afternoon. I got some IV without the B12 this time. The place was surprisingly very quiet compared to the previous time. There was no one there other than myself this last time so I didn't feel rushed. Most people were probably busy getting ready for New Year's Eve? Brooke was very kind, pleasant, professional, and super helpful. She also gave me some heating bags to keep my shoulders warm as I was freezing coming in when it was raining hard outside. I meant to leave her a review the next day but totally forgot until I saw this on Yelp tonight. I highly recommend Hydration Room if you're not feeling well or just to simply get an IV injection with some vitamins to recharge. The place is nice and clean and relaxing. Really like this location as 7 minutes from the house and most of the time they can accommodate my injection based on my schedule at last minute. The nurses are always friendly and it is quick in and out. They have been going through new front desk people, some are slower than others, that can definitely improve, as takes the longest time. My suggestion would be not to get them started until they are fully trained, so the customer does not have to deal with the nuisances. Overall, great place! read more

I like this place and how I feel afterwards. Only downside is they now have optional tipping for services. It feels gross to ask a tip for MEDICAL service. Horrible experience here today with the nurse that put in the IV. McKenna is the one to go to if you want someone that is smooth with the needle and no pain or discomfort. Any nurse that tells you to "relax" when they're inserting the IV needle is not doing their job right and is incompetent. I've never felt so uncomfortable getting an IV put in. You should never be leaving a hydration IV place with a huge bump and bruise (see pic). read more

I really wanted to love this place but I feel dumb losing $200 and seeing no results. I went in after having cold for 5 days thinking that would help me overcome the cold very quickly. The nurse did not do a good job of putting the needle in and it was painful and the whole time it was bothering me. The process took about 30 min. Keep in mind that they will also ask for tip and I feel it was so weird that the first time they give you a 15% discount so you feel ok tipping on top of such a high price tag. Afterwards I didn't feel better and felt miserable for the next couple of days until I started feeling better slowly. Every body is different but bottom line I felt stupid for throwing away $200! I had just gotten over the flu and had no stamina. I decided to give the Hydration Room a try. A NP called me 15 minutes before my appointment to discuss what they would put in my IV. An RN injected the IV on the third try. That was partially my fault as I didn't drink water before going. I would suggest they tell their clients to drink water before their appointment. It has been almost 3 weeks since my appointment and I still have a bruise in one place she tried to inject the IV. As I was leaving and standing at the desk to pay, a screen popped up wanting a tip. I thought this was a medical facility! I was shocked. They say you can't bring pets as it is a medical facility but then try to switch it to a spa. My first experience here wasn't great. Being my first time, the nurse I had didn't walk me through everything and I felt more nervous than I should. When the IV had finished, my blood was drawn out since the nurse didn't turn the IV off. I also bruised horribly for about a week and a bubble formed once I removed the bandage (after a few hours). My second time here, Jerita was so kind and thoughtful. I expressed my concerns from my first visit and I felt like she really listened. No bruising and the entire visit I was at ease. Thank you!! Ive been sick a lot over the holidays and have gone to the Hydration Room for the Cold/Flu IV therapy, each time I have made an appointment it has been a great experience. I have been able to get an appointment right away. The RNs have all been skilled at assessing what you need and they are excellent at starting my IV. I am traditionally a hard stick. After the infusion I have felt hydrated and more energized. I recommend this therapy for anyone who is experiencing dehydration, lethargy, and pain with cold and flu symptoms. Much better than going to an ER. It's an awesome way to feel better faster. read more

So it was my first time ever coming to the hydration room which I got a referral from my friend. I was very excited to feel rejuvenated. I got the hangover cure. As I went into the first room where are the nurse put my IV in, she poked two different holes in my arm before she finally got the IV to stay. So all and all it took her three pokes within my arm with the needle for the IV to stay. My anxiety level was going through the roof. I can't say that I will be coming back. As someone who needs IV fluids constantly and makes many trips to the ER for a condition I cannot control, this place is awesome! I have saved myself from thousands of dollars in medical bills and sitting around in a hospital. The atmosphere is so calm and clean. Everyone is extra nice and helpful. There are chairs that are slightly reclined so you can chill while you wait for your IV. You can customize or purchase a pre made IV bag and you can even forgo the bag and get an injection. Nice location. Check dosing if you are used to using IV treatments. It's pretty low but you can request higher dosing on items needed. Also determine needs of NSAIDs and anti-inflammatory synthetics. I frequent the Mission Viejo office off Crown Valley and the staff is normally excellent except for a nurse named Nicole. I wish I knew what her days off were because she is the rudest nurse on their staff with zero bedside manners. This is my 3rd interaction with nurse Nicole. I thought she might've been having a bad day the first time, that is not the case, this is how she is built. She has no interest in helping you discuss your needs, the job is only a paycheck to her.
