I was visiting Orange County from TX for a bachelorette party and as you can imagine, it was a LONG weekend. On the last day, before our dreaded flights back, we decided to look into getting a hangover IV. We found the Rejuvenation Room online and were able to book their mobile service. This was fantastic because the idea of having to get dressed and drive somewhere sounded awful, being in the condition we were in. We were able to have a nurse come to our house and administer our IVs right by the pool, allowing us to enjoy the last few hours of our vacation. As for the service itself, our nurse Rebekah was amazing. She was very pleasant, answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. Most of all, she was gentle with the procedure, as I'm not a huge fan of needles. It was actually a quite relaxing experience. Within an hour I felt back to myself. I was recommended to try the Rejuvenation Room's IV therapy treatments by a friend, and had some reservations about it. However, one dreadful Saturday morning I had a severe hangover and figured I'd give it a shot. Anything would be a better alternative than suffering all day. So, I went online and booked my mobile appointment with one of their nurses: Marie. The actual booking process was incredibly easy, and didn't require me to pay upfront. Fine by me, I have nothing to lose. I immediately received a text confirming my appointment, and it linked me to an intake form to fill out prior to my appointment. Awesome, no need to waste time filling out forms upon arrival. Marie was on time, and had a very courteous and attentive bedside manner. She answered all of my questions and walked me through the treatment. Further, I was glad to see that she was wearing PPE and the whole experience was very sterile. I'm not usually one to write bad reviews, but this one is long overdue. I have been to other IV therapy establishments in the past to receive vitamin B shots. However, my very first IV therapy experience was with Rejuvenation Room. I felt very comfortable going into the whole process, until I met the nurse. I sat down and let him begin the process of prepping and finding my vein. I know that getting a needle inserted in to your arm is not supposed to be sunshine and rainbows... But I immediately started to experience a lot of discomfort and pain when he stuck the needle in my arm. After a long struggle and a lot of moving the needle around, he removes the needle and begins to explain that he "collapsed the vein in my arm." He didn't give any context on what that terminology means. Obviously I started to panic and experienced a shooting pain in my right forearm. He had the worst bedside manner and was completely insensitive. He came across as improperly trained and reckless. I asked to have the service stopped and actually never received treatment. They had the lead Doctor reach out to me with specific instructions to follow to ensure I didn't have any serious injuries, which I did appreciate. She was kind and apologetic, but that did not make up for the injury I was left with. The pictures attached are the aftermath of ONE first time appointment with Rejuvenation Room. Felt like a million bucks after it was done. I scheduled an appointment online and Rebekah came to my home with an array of options and was very professional in explaining the benefits of each one. I opted for a de-stressing concoction and I could feel the benefits in minutes. I've already had 2 positive experiences with this therapy. The first was an at home mobile visit and the 2nd was in their space located in the Renaissance Spa. I'm an avid mountain biker so I usually feel very dehydrated after a long sweaty ride on these warm dusty trails. the second the IV drip starts I can feel my body immediately start to recover from the intense exercise. For several hours after the treatment I felt extremely energetic and just overall felt great! The nurses who treated me were very knowledgeable, answered all my questions about which boosters I should add to the IV drip and were experienced in administering and monitoring you during the treatment. I'm new to this type of in home hydration treatment and thought I would give it a try. Booking was easy and quick and the questionnaire was very thorough and made me feel very secure in their medical safety practices. I booked with Rebekah and she arrived ahead of time wish a bright smile under her mask. Her prep time was quick and very sanitary never once taking off her mask and always changing gloves when doing different steps. While administering the IV she was very thorough in describing anything I may feel or experience and to not be afraid to speak up. The entire experience was very relaxing. I started to feel a sense of "fullness" by the end of the treatment and I could tell the hydration was in full effect! I suffer from anxiety so having Rebekah talking to me while I was getting hydrated kept me calm and very comfortable. Clean up was quick and safe and the entire experience was no more than 45mins - 1hr. Overall I would love to give this review 20 stars from customer service to sanitation to a great experience for someone who is scared of needles!
