Unethical and unprofessional business practices. I worked here short term when I had a lot going on in my life and some underlying health issues. It was a very vulnerable time in my life especially as a female. I was let go of not for doing anything wrong but because over time it wasn't the right fit. The owner broke professional code of ethics by calling my family member and telling them out of fear of being sued. As a grown adult, this was very wrong. Will never support this business again. I've been a member of Hydration room for years and always had a good experience. This was my first time taking my elderly father to this location. The nurse on duty "Nicole" was extremely rude to us. She did not go over the paperwork filled out upon our arrival clearly stating the medications my dad is taking along with having no allergies. Due to my dad's age and dealing with Alzheimer's, she clearly did not want to deal with us. Instead of introducing herself, her first question was if i have a "power of attorney to represent my dad"!? Then she put us in a room and closed the door without asking any further questions. Came back and rejected service. She was clearly not confident in her information and training about Alzheimer's patients. She accused me (the son) not being transparent about whether my dad has allergies or not. She did not apologize for her behavior, was argumentative, and did not want to deal with us. This place is simply amazing. I travel a lot and pretty much every time I go anywhere I feel off and not my normal self. My appetite is different, I get that travel headache from being dehydrated and I feel just icky. I heard about the hydration room and came in this Tuesday the day after I had flown into OC. My head was pounding and this was a really bad case of jet lag. I wasn't sure if it would work but I'd do anything at this point to get rid of the headache. I went in and was greeted by two awesome women and made feel completely at ease. I picked out what I thought and they made a few recommendations and we started the process. About 20 minutes in all my symptoms were gone. Completely. About 10 min later a certain clarity came about and everything seemed clearer and I started to feel like I was at home. I've been to hydration rooms in Michigan, NYC and Miami so I would like to say I've had my share of different places and what different hydration conditions feel like. This one by far is the best one I've been too! I usually feel a little bit better after hydration therapy but this time I felt it more then I ever have. I got the wellness infusion which has everything including anxiety helping vitamins which were amazing! I left and fell asleep at home and slept the whole night like I haven't slept in years! My daughter is 17 and gets Hemiplegic migraines. Here first Hemiplegic Migraine was at 5 years old. That was scary because the medical field didn't know what to do . These migraines are incredibly severe and in her case last 14 hours‼ She ends up in her bed in the darkest area of her bedroom and is miserable having to sleep it off . For her, these migraines starts with a weird aura of a numbing tingling in the roof of her mouth , then weakness on the left that worsens to paralysis on the whole left side of the body . All of that plus the photophobia, extreme nausea that leads to vomiting , sensitivity to noise, lethargy and fatigue . This time was a more intense feeling of pain and her paralysis started on her right. She was then vomiting . At this point I called her pediatric neurologist and she suggested going to the Hydration Room or the ER ‼. What a blessing of a referral . There was no way I would go to an ER ( you never know what bacteria and diseases are being incubated in that environment .... let alone the unknown wait . We arrived at the Hydration Room and Decided on a Hydration IV with Toradol , B12 and some electrolytes to knock down the extreme migraine pain and get her back to her normal happy self .It was so nice to see her totally relaxed and the pain dissolving quickly .
