The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This guy is a professional and the best kind. There was not one bad surprise with him. He even gave me some tips, as I was filling the cabinet handle holes prior to getting them painted. While I had a basic idea of what I wanted, I debated getting a formal project manager to handle coordination of the full install. With a ton of experience doing this kind of install, Marcus helped out so much that I was pretty much able to handle coordination of the main pieces and personnel without needing to hire anyone else. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

All seemed to go well initially the carpets were ordered and fitted, everything seemed fine. Then I started to get emails saying the invoice was outstanding and I was due money. This was a problem on so many levels but the main one was I did not pay for the carpets and could not go back to the person whose card was used to get proof of payment. What really annoyed me was the lack of remorse shown by the firm, no apologetic emails, just, you are due us money , pay now threats. When I asked the perpetrator of the emails to escalate the matter I got push back! Eventually the matter was escalated and after some email exchanges things went quiet for a few months, I wrongly assumed that Flooring Warehouse has resolved the matter internally or used common sense not to pursue the sum outstanding ..... then threats started again, this time of legal action. Talking to other business owners they said they would have owned the mistake and written off the sum outstanding (50% was paid upfront). Not with this lot, they seem to have little regard for their reputation or the inconvenience and stress caused to the buyer as a result of their own incompetence. Buyer beware, use someone who values their clients and puts the customer above their bottom line. The customer, after all, is always right.

During the work, the filter on the vacuum clogged and a good amount of dust escaped the containment seal. It was a stressful moment because we have a couple kids, but Atila worked with us, and covered our ENTIRE post-construction clean up fee using a highly professional team. Our house was restored to better than before, and the sink was installed flawlessly. Very few businesses uphold this level of excellence, honesty, and putting the customer first. I've seen huge companies screw us over. Atila is the opposite of this. I award Atila infinite stars because he is a great man and runs a great business. Juan and his team worked with us to minimize seams and demonstrated skill in fabrication, delivery, and installation. The stainless sink we selected was of a heaver gauge than some offered by other area companies. We shopped for our own granite at several stone yards. We used Shenoy on Research Blvd. in Austin, also a very customer-oriented business. We were pleased with Juan and his easy going personality. We are very pleased with the installation our new granite countertops. Carlos (owner) & Marc went over & beyond to make this experience a pleasant one. From the moment of my 1st inquiry, Carlos was instantly texting me pictures of the granite we were looking for. His selection of granite from his suppliers is superb and stands out from the rest. The granite suppliers showroom was indoors and had an enormous selection of granite. The showroom was so professional and willing to move the slabs so we could select our pieces needed for our kitchen project. I spent weeks researching & looking for the right granite & fabricator until I found Granite Radiance. My salesman Marc even suggested to add granite to our wall niche in our great room to match the bar area. I am so pleased... it looks stunning. Demo was challenging but they overcame every obstacle with our travertine tile countertops. They even adapted to a last minute change to demo our backsplash too and left our home extremely clean. It was very impressed. I specially liked how they took care of my wood floor to prevent damage & took their shoes off every time even though I never asked them too. Plus, I love how when they were making the template they made suggestions of overhang dimensions my husband & I never thought of. Their suggestion was spot on and we are so glad we went with their larger overhang in a particular spot. We love the added counter space at no extra cost. Carlos also recommended our countertop edge based on the design of our cabinet doors. Excellent Choice Carlos!! The installation crew was also wonderful. We had some extremely large pieces with angles and the crew handled it all with grace. We have 1 seam in our granite slab and it looks almost seamless. Our property is located in Southwest Austin and I am so happy I found them in North Austin and I would highly recommend them for your countertop project. This place is top notch! Being new to the area last summer. I got several quotes but this place was awesome. From the minute I called and Sandy answered explaining not to worry because when Carlos comes out he'll be able to guide me in the process. Carlos was fantastic! Not only is he personable and fun he is extremely knowledgeable and informative. I was re-doing the kitchen and wanted to create a big island and he was able to help me size it properly to fit my room and advised me on how to handle the cabinets. Carlos and his workers went above and beyond in every way! He made sure the granite that I picked would move perfectly with the pattern. And once it was installed you could not even tell where the seam was. It is beautiful! Carlos was able to schedule my job very quickly and every one showed up when they were suppose to. Tile guy, electrician, plumber all were polite, professional and did a great job. Carlos came by and checked on everything. After everything was done and Carlos came by to ensure everything was to our liking, he even helped me re-adjust a drawer that wasn't part of his job! Like I said, this place is top notch! I was having a hard time finding someone local to do the granite countertops for my kitchen remodel. I left a voicemail early morning on the Friday after the new year. Andy called back within about 15 minutes even though he was in Chicago with his family for the Holidays. I emailed pictures of the kitchen plan and within about 45 minutes of my original call I had a provisional quote and arrangements to meet to pick out a slab. They installed my countertops today and they are stunning. The measurements were spot on and no adjustments had to be made and they were ready in less than a week from the day they measured. The sink and counters were done in about 90 minutes. I found out after I had ordered my cabinets that they do those as well. Would have been great to have had it all from one source. All in all an outstanding job from the whole team at Granite Radiance from incredible customer service to flawless install. We did a complete remodel of our master bath - everything except the tile floor - and boy do we love the final result. This involved a demo of the shower, garden tub and cabinets and mirror. We turned the old shower into a closet and made the garden tub area into a zero threshold walk in shower. Before deciding to use Granite Radiance we talked with and went to see some of their completed work in the area. This gave us the confidence that we were making the right decision. Carlos was able to give us a bid almost immediately which was a step above the competitors we contacted. We were very pleased with all the professional workmen that Carlos sent (demo crew, plumbers, electrician, sheet rock tech, cabinet maker and most especially the carpenter and the tile guy). We found Granite Radiance online which we're always leery of, but my fears have since been extinguished. Another fear I had was the fact that it was a small job which many companies don't want to do because there's not enough money in it for them. We needed two granite countertops for our outdoor veranda, simple job and not many cuts, should be a quick job. We even found a remnant that matched our existing granite exactly. There were some questions about fabrication so before the job began Carlos came to the house to be sure we were all on the same page. Measurements were made and the granite showed up the next day. It was installed quickly and professionally. They cleaned up after themselves and we couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend them for any job you have. Granite Radiance did an excellent job on our new home. Their prices are very fair, their workmanship is superb, and the owners, Carlos and Sandy, their office staff, and even their fabricators, were super helpful to us. Our first stop at GR was during their off-hours while their office was actually closed, yet one of their fabricators who was working stopped his work and came over to bring us a card and let us know when someone would be at the office. They got the job done quickly and were able to help us with one of our biggest requests that we have no seams in our big kitchen island. They brought that 1000+ lb slab in and kept it all in one piece, making us super happy! All around great experience! We even recommended them to my parents for their own remodel project, and it turned out beautifully as well. read more

I had a really tough time matching a piece of quartz to my existing countertops. Carlos worked with me to get a contrasting piece but when it was installed, it was defective. I thought I was going to get shafted and would be stuck with this piece of quartz that not only doesn't match my other counters but had yellow streaks in the white quartz. But Carlos was unwilling to let that stand. He kept searching until he finally found a piece to match my existing counters. I am thrilled with how my kitchen extension looks. Extremely satisfied. We ended up with some beautiful granite that far exceeds what we thought our budget would allow. They also found and cut a piece of quartz for a bench seat that matched perfectly. I can give no better reason to choose these guys than this ... Carlos noticed some issues with a piece of granite we had initially chosen. We weren't a high-dollar job ... the granite could have been installed and we'd have been none the wiser, but that's not what happened. He called us about it and suggested we might want to choose a different piece. To me that speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. I wouldn't go anyplace else. read more

The project included granite countertops, cabinets, new walls, paint, backsplash. Each of the specialists who came to our home to work were well qualified for the job and were of above-average character. I replace the kitchen back splash with concrete tiles, replaced both bathrooms with marble counter tops and replaced those hugh ugly builder mirrors a wall of travertine tile with a very difficult pattern. Carlos and his team (Nelson the tile man), where fantastic. Great workmanship, professionalism, and courteous at all times. Always on time, helped with design and layout, and great cleanup after work was complete. Can not imagine anyone doing a better job or being easier to work with. They were prompt in their estimate, on time, professional, very reasonably priced and finished with in the agreed upon time frame. Additionally they replaced a piece of cabinetry for us to get rid of an outdated out of place desk in our kitchen for no charge! Antonio and his team made our vision come true. Starting with Anna who drew up the schematics and was very communicative and professional every step of the project. Antonio's idea of the shape of our breakfast bar done in quartz was perfect for our space. The bar has a waterfall at each end and gives more seating than we thought possible. The porcelain island was extend in length by 16" to accommodate 6 to 8 seats. all the counters and backsplashes were done in porcelain to give that exquisite look. They added a shelf wrapped in porcelain that is flushed with the cabinet. Below they extended the countertop and add a waterfall leaving a space for the wine cooler They also applied the porcelain around the windows from ceiling to the baseboards and added crown molding to finish the look. Eduardo and his team of installers were very professional, courteous, thoughtful, respectful and diligent. We are so very grateful and pleased with Legacy. They are definitely dependable, professional, caring and great at what they do! Thank you Legacy!!!

We used three different slabs. All four layouts were beautifully done using up to date imaging technology, so it was easy to visualize the finished product. The crew is awesome! They were diligent, and communicated clearly. The installation went smoothly, with a perfect fit and finish in all four bathrooms. This was all done at a very reasonable price. That being said, stone countertops are an improvement meant to be appreciated for many years. Our countertops are just gorgeous and I know their beauty will return a lifetime of pleasure. In the fall, we finally decided to pull the trigger on remodeling our kitchen. We solicited bids from a handful of general contractors, but only a few responded. Interestingly, the one we ultimately selected wasn't even on our initial list. While browsing for LVP flooring samples at Fantastic Floors, I struck up a conversation about our project. Mazz, the owner, eagerly offered to bid on it. Though skeptical at first, I agreed. The very next day, he arrived with his construction team and cabinet partner to discuss our vision in detail. Just a few days later, we received a competitive quote, signed the contract within a week, and work commenced shortly after. Despite some unexpected challenges from the wall removal, they completed the remodel in about a month--far quicker than the 2-3 months quoted by others. If you're considering a remodel, I wholeheartedly recommend Fantastic Floors--be sure to speak with Mazz for outstanding results.

Super abrasive and condescending to his crew and employee K. Argued with my design choices, did not listen to me at all and seemed annoyed with my questions about product. Also, took a call in front of my husband and me and kept on speaker. Talk about awkward. It was business related but lots of cussing and yelling between the two. The kicker was they quoted me 5000.00 more than the amazing flooring company we ended up going with and they were going to go right over the existing floor. So less work, more money, when I called to inquire about the process because I researched and got other bids, K was explaining and answering my questions well, 1/2 way through the conversation owner took phone and was aggressively talking to me. I said, "wait did you guys just switch?" He replied, "I can explain better" wow. So disrespectful. If you are ok with going over existing floors and dealing with this behavior, have at it, but I definitely can recommend a much better choice. The company I chose was pleasant to work with, cost effective, and flawless from beginning to end. Doing it the right way, by pulling up the floors is the way to go. Peace of mind for sure and warranties work when it is done correctly, should something happen. I will never have to wonder.

I had Perfect Countertops install my quartzite kitchen countertops and backsplash, and the finished…read morework by Jesus, the installer, is fabulous. (5 stars for that!) I used the website Countertop smart.com, so I was able to insert measurements, get an estimate, and choose an installer easily. Perfect Countertops had good reviews, a good price for installation and a two-week installation date which fit my schedule. Though I am very happy with the finished project, I was frustrated with communication with Elier and delays. The countertops were demo'd on one day, countertops installed the next day and the matching backsplash was installed 7 days later - which delayed installation of the cooktop and faucet. (And increased my anxiety as I had a dinner party scheduled the next day! I never heard the reason for the weeklong delay.) The installation was complete 5 weeks after measurements, not the 2 weeks planned when I scheduled it. So as with all construction projects, allow plenty of time for completion. I would recommend Perfect Countertops if your schedule is flexible.

Had Elier out to give me a quote on Level 1 granite for a house flip. He quoted what he had in…read morestock (2 colors for spec houses and apartments) which did not match my paint colors. I asked if he could quote me on a few other colors I had found online that were also Level 1. He first told me I would need to call his suppliers to locate it but the next day he told me he would look into it and get me a quote. After a week of not hearing anything I called one of his vendors that has every color in stock. I texted Elier and let him know but I have been ignored. I owned a glass company in Austin for over 15 years and I am proud to say I NEVER mistreated a potential customer. If I told you I would call you back in 2 days, I called you back in 2 days if not sooner. What happened to good CUSTOMER SERVICE? I would not recommend this company if you want someone that will work with you and give you options.
