I went here for a pedicure today with my daughter, mother, and granddaughter. I'm visiting from out of town so it was basically a call and then walk in 4 minutes later as we were short on time and wanted to spend time together. They were more than accommodating for us. The staff was extremely friendly and beyond that - they were SKILLED. If you are looking for a wonderful experience this is definitely the place to go. My husband and I come here every two weeks This place is a hidden Gem. The staff are so welcoming and make you feel at home. Holly does my lashes, so happy with them Ana does my nails 100% happy. I wont go anywhere else. Holly keeps her salon sanitized and clean at all times. They take pride in Cleanliness and that matters to me. We just moved to Huntington Harbor from Irvine. I tried so many nail spas out here and am so, so happy to have found a home for my nails! Ann, Jenny, Nini - you can't go wrong with any of the ladies here. The prices are really reasonable, too. You'll often meet clients here who've driven in all the way from Los Angeles. I have been here before and it was ok. Just went recently again and it was awful. They did not offer a menu of services. I could have asked though too. When I brought it up, the technician said the pedicure was almost over and I couldn't "upgrade" (even though I didn't have top coat or nail polish on yet) The pedicure was lackluster and the manicure was rushed. It was not relaxing and it was over as quick as it started. They do not have a large color scheme to choose from. I won't be coming here again. For what I paid, it was not worth it. I like to enjoy my mani/pedi in peace, and one lady in particular talked too much, like the whole time.. apparently she didn't pick up on my signals that I didn't want to talk. This place gets 3 stars because I would return if desperate but I'm on a hunt to find my new nail place I can be loyal to! People, when you get waxed at a "Real Professional Place" you'd understand the word "Hygiene... Health.... Sanitary!" How can you double dip?! I went last week to get my nails done for the first time and it was amazing!!! For my gel manicure it cost $25 with tip it came out to $30. Very affordable and Minh did a great job with my nails. It didn't take too long and everyone there was very welcoming. I went back today because I broke a nail. Minh fixed it and didn't charge me anything to repair it. Now that's great customer service. 3 months later the service at hygiene nail and spa went down. I called to make an appointment for a fill and pedicure and for my mom to get a fill. the next day I came in and the lady that was supposed to do my nails never showed up and no one was able to do our nails. there were only pedicurists there. all of a sudden they started pretended they couldn't speak English. the ladies started treating my mom and I very rude. I got a pedicure but my mom and I had to leave without getting our nails done. another customer walked in to get her nails done and had to leave because there was no one available to do her nails. Mind you this was 930am...there were 5 ladies there and no one could do nails. Just poor service. Their customer service started off great but started to decline after a while. We drive by this place all the time, and chuckle at the title of the place, however, we were very impressed. It is very clean and nice inside. You see a great effort to maintain a well organized, clean and modern looking. The owner was super friendly and my daughter enjoyed her time with her. I had the sugar scrub pedicure, and the person who helped me was so gently and took her time with the foot massage; I got sleepy; this had not happened at any other time when I've had a pedicure. Let me start this by saying I LOVE ANN! She is a phenomenal pedicurist. I have been coming here for a few years now and just recently there has been a new owner. I came in for a pedicure looking to escape the heat and enjoy a little relaxation time. It's like a sauna in here! The new owner refuses to have the AC because she claims the unit is too small but has every single ceiling light on which acts more as heat lamps. I have been coming for year and the AC has worked fine. She was less then friendly when I asked her about it. Again, you think pedicure you think relaxation. The owner is continuing to nail and hammer so she can hang pictures. Goodness do that after hours. Unfortunately it was a less than pleasant experience. I don't think I will be returning. Omg, if you want VIP services without the VIP price, then this is the place to be! They are just super awesome. The store is big, bright and airy. Feel so relaxed when you're there pampering yourself. But most importantly, the services are undeniable top notch. My lovely nail artist Holly was super sweet and attentative. But not just her, all the staff there was so sweet. One of the ladies even brought me a nice cold drink while I was doing my pedicure. They are a bit out of my way, but its well worth the drive compared to the other nail shop I've been. And the job they do, its perfect! They really put their heart into making you feel pretty. This is my second time here and I think they've gone through a renovation and a change in ownership. The place is spacious and clean. I like the open space plan, there's a fancy chandelier in the middle. They get major Points for their space. The price $25 for manicure gel, $18 for pedicure, $15 for facial wax all seems decent when purchased separately but done all together and it's an absurd amount coupled with a $15 tip. At least the massage chairs worked! The two ladies who helped me were very good. I trust a nail technician with nice nails so the lady who did my manicure, her name was Cindy, she cleaned up my cuticles nicely (they needed some TLC) which is what I judge a nail technician on. She also did my facial wax and that was not too painful so brownie points. She got an extra tip. The lady who did my pedicure was a bit grumpy but I always feel bad for people who have to touch feet (I know the feeling, I clean foot wounds all the time) so she gets a pass from me. She did a good job. I will recommend this place, it's about average the price you pay for nail salons here. Plus the place is very spacious and clean. That's a bonus. read more

My nails look so fabulous, the manicurists are so gentle and they stay focused. There is an amazing light design on the ceiling, a private garden you can see from inside, and it all creates a beautiful atmosphere. The owner runs this salon with tender care. All I can say is inconsistent. If you come and no one is here it's worth it. If you come and there are people but they say they can take you. Don't believe it. Came in on Saturday with my daughter for a manicure. Nice large salon. The ladies working were all very nice. My gel manicure is perfect, which is hard to do with a dark color on shorter natural nails. For me the most important part of a manicure is cleaning up my cuticles. I'm sorry but I cannot give more than one star. I came with my mom for my birthday. First they let us wait 20 minutes because they were doing another kid's nail. I understand that they serve all ages. But when there's two other adults waiting while they weren't really busy, hint #1, try to accommodate the paying adults. Then they cut my mom accidentally and she started to bleed? Really? You're a nail salon! The 'cutter' didn't even apologize. When I started to comment it, the boss lady came to apologize and took over. Hint #2, try to be careful not to cut your customer. Hint #3, if you already let your customer waited then hurt someone, you comp them. They eventually charged us full price. Never again!!! read more
