The service is typical quick as I don't have issues with my deliveries arriving late. They sometimes have this $10 tuna lover deal that I think is a good bang for the buck (photo shared below). Thus, the 2nd star given. This post however is to beware those that are purchasing food from this place like me via third party delivery service. I ordered a platter & shu mai along and was given completely FROZEN shu mai with sauce drizzle over it don't know how they quality check the food ... also that platter instead of what's advertised, was all California rolls instead of the variety so needless to say ... it was a disappointing lunch day... There are two ways to buy fish here - rolls that are made fresh and in the fridge, or the fish market where you can buy fish by the lb. I didn't buy the fish straight from the market, but I would definitely do that in the future. The market also sells a lot of other things that you'd normally find in Japan or Hawaii. I have been to this Asian market a few times and am actually surprised that the price of produce is really cheap. But you do have to be aware that the fruits may not last as long as maybe going to another market like Smart & Final or Stater Bro's. Also there have been times when I have seen produce starting to mold/ have spots. During cherry season, I was surprised to find that this market sold rainier cherries (I actually love these more than the red ones) for $1.98 per pound where as other places are selling them for anywhere from $5 to $7 per pound. It is very busy when some of their produce like that is very cheap (because you know you just aren't the only one who thinks that is a good deal). The rest of the market itself has a similar layout as what you would expect at other Asian markets. And on our past visits, the market has been clean and did not have that familiar odor that may be associated with Asian markets. One thing I thought was interesting though about this market is that you need to have a minimum purchase of at least $5 for credit card transactions. I have only seen a small number of markets that have a minimum for credit card transactions and just wanted to bring that up for those that don't normally carry cash but wish to grocery shop here.

Especially when it comes to returns or asking team members about checking stock on items/help finding items. Then there's the issue of nothing ever being in stock. I'm not talking about discontinued items either, I'm talking about basic, staple items: milk, pasta noodles, frozen items. I went in with a list of 10 items only for 3 items to be out of stock, on a weekday. That's pretty bad. Does Trader Joe's really expect people to be able to come ink the same store multiple times in one week just to buy basics? This is starting to become a place that's not worthwhile to visit, as it's not very functional.

The manager actually told me the same thing. I explained how wrong this was and the manager finally said to hold on for a minute so that he can call the other store and try to work out a solution. I'm the end, they made a correction in their system to manually enter the corrected price and yield the correct total refund. It took a while but I was happy 8 didn't have to make a trip out to the other store.

GW sometimes have good deals on their fruits. What caught my eyes from the get-go was their humongous white peaches. They looked like fruits on steroids! They were as big as my hands. And it was only $1.98 per pound. Usually they're smaller and also more expensive at other markets. Anyhow, GW has a great selection of everything from seasonal fruits to Chinese vegetables. They always looks fresh. At least when I walk inside. For the other groceries, they basically stock your daily Chinese a staples. Soy sauces, chili oils, preserved items, can goods, etc. Not too many choices to choose from, but it's fine. The store basically has a little of everything for your needs. It's quite clean and well lit inside. They don't seems too busy, and the workers don't look stressed. I guess it's fine. Overall, I like this place. It looks clean & well maintained. Produce look fresh, except for the little cart with produce that has gone past its prime---which I can appreciate coz I found a bag of ginger for $0.99. At regular Asian markets these may sell for $5/lb-- and are packaged. Sometimes you just want one or two pieces for whatever you're cooking that week and the whole package will just rot if you don't use it all. So there's that. Like HMart & 99 Ranch markets, most of their produce are packaged and wrapped in plastic. Staff here appear friendly enough. Some cashiers actually greet you while others just don't acknowledge you at all. Ah, the lost art of customer service. I know, this ain't Sprouts or Ralph's where it's usually standard & customary to acknowledge or greet customers. All in all, I appreciate this store for what is is.
