I've been coming to this location ever since they opened. They have a good variety of stuff I need and I'm so happy they are near me. I had bought an electric casserole pot from the LA location, but ended up not needing it. I tried returning it here a few days later, but the item scanned came up with the wrong price. The staff told me that the item needed to be taken back to the original location because they cannot take the return. That didn't sound right to me so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager actually told me the same thing. I explained how wrong this was and the manager finally said to hold on for a minute so that he can call the other store and try to work out a solution. I'm the end, they made a correction in their system to manually enter the corrected price and yield the correct total refund. It took a while but I was happy 8 didn't have to make a trip out to the other store. read more

This place is always crowded. The parking is horrendous. But they do have a good range of Korean products and groceries. There's also a mini food court inside, which is pretty busy too. My favorite part of the store is Korean side dishes. They have a wide range of varieties from kimchi, cucumber, bean, sprouts, radish, etc. Also, their bakery is really popular. This H Mart is located in the once upon a time Ralph's. The irony was Ralph's was busy, but not nearly as busy as the current H Mart. I really enjoy coming here. The market is huge, well-stocked, and extremely clean. Fresh fruits and vegetables, quality meats and seafood, neatly stocked deli section, etc. But my most favorite area of the supermarket is their enormous aisles of snacks! Yes, international snacks galore. Rice cakes, Peppero sticks, seaweed, dried squid, international Frito Lay potato chips, etc., just to name a few. Lol. I usually buy their fruits here as they're always fresh. Their seafood and meat section imo, is a bit more expensive than other markets. But the quality never disappoints. You could pretty much find most of your grocery needs here. Again, the aisles are clean and well stocked. H Mart also has a food court area that with an abundant amount of seats. They're always busy as well. People go there for meals or to orders to go. It's convenient and it's also affordable. Overall, the location is convenient for me, and their parking lot is large. However, the lot os also shared with other businesses in the plaza. I like the cleanliness, and the many choices of food items offered here. Yikes! Not sure why H mart is on everyone's radar! Maybe I did it wrong or have no clue what the heck I'm doing lol (fsure had no clue what I was doing ) Parking lot was way to hectic, people going the wrong ways of the arrows, so people not knowing how to drive makes things 10x worse in a small busy parking lot! So already an eh sign. Walked in & just started looking around to see if I found anything to try. I did not but also came in with a list of items I wanted already & I only found 1 item on that list. I asked 3 people on the floor if they knew where this was or that was, & no one knew where anything was or spoke any English. So myself including them were all confused lol The whole store smelt like fish, which okay I get they have a whole section dedicated to fresh fish / sushi bowls served but wow it was a strong smell throughout the whole store. Made this trip really quick. Decided to cut it early, I left with a bag of chips & a ramen for lunch & chose to get the heck out of there lol The cashier hayde did not greet me or anything either! So no customer service, just started ringing my items & asked if I needed a bag lol So yeah overall not the best first time overall experience ! I will say the ramen I chose is yummy! I have been here a few times & I find the selections of what I usually buy are in good supply/stocked. Noted Korean, Chinese, Japanese, some Filipino items,Navigating the store is actually fairly easy, items are placed where one would normally expect to find them. Today I wanted to look for ingredients that I needed to bake banana bread: all-purpose flour & sour cream. Additionally, I also wanted to make noodle soup, got noodles, mushrooms, miso paste & some greens. Picked up some persimmons, Japanese sweet potatoes, Hawaiian yams, tomatoes & onions. H mart is a gem. I love Korean food and this place has wonderful set of pre-made meals and sides. I recently got sides for bibimbap for meal prep and it made my week so easy. They also have vegan meal sets. Their meat section is also very clean with lots of choices. I particularly like to buy their marinated meats. It also had restaurants and a bakery that are very delicious inside. Although it is popular, you can usually find parking as it has a big lot. read more

H Mart is one of my favorite asian grocery supermarkets! Although a Korean grocery supermarket, I have been able to find specific Filipino, Indonesian, and Chinese items that I needed for recipes as well as certain snacks I love. I know a lot of people come here for viral food items seen on social media, such as those aesthetic Taiwanese fruit ice creams, the no calorie konjac jelly packs, fish-shaped ice cream, Tokyo banana, and more. I've tasted them all, and I agree that they are all worth trying for how tasty they are! But I do encourage you to check out the rest of the store as well, this store has so much more to offer! It is a supermarket after all :) Their produce has always been fresh when I've purchased from them, and meat and fish quality are great quality! Their prepared food is also delicious, with selections such as kimchi fried rice, bibimbap, bentos, and more. It is my favorite section to browse for sure, but be careful as they are popular items that always leave the shelves first! Definitely come in the morning or at least afternoon in order to have the best chance on snagging what you want. Next time I come, I am definitely buying from their freshly baked hot sweet potato stand! I missed it but it's by the registers. Super busy H Mart and parking can get kind of hectic since there's other popular businesses in the same plaza (Fika Fika etc.). There's parking in the back too, but it's just a large volume of people if anything. With that in mind, the times that I've gone, the inside of the market's ambiance is also super busy and it's not the biggest H Mart either (probably since it's not one of those "super" ones). Get ready to wait in line especially if you go during a busy time like during the weekends, but the cashiers are generally super fast at what they have to do. Since it's a smaller H Mart, the food court options are limited and they're all businesses that I can find as a standalone or elsewhere. And since you're in the heart-ish area of the SGV, it's not my default to go. I usually stop by here if inevitably we go to or we were at the mall next door. I've always been a fan of H-Mart! It's my go to spot for fresh, warm, affordable meals on lazy days (found on the left side counter as soon as you walk in). It's nice that the store not only has groceries and other household items but inside you can also find a bakery (amazing items), a small food court with plenty of options, and a Korean based clothes/jewelry store. Personally, I think some fruits and veggies are overpriced here but the quality is good! I specially enjoy buying the marinated meats (beef, bulgogi, etc) and fresh salmon/tuna poke from here! I'm also a huge fan of turtle chips (must try if you like texture and a satisfying crunch) so I was stocked to see new flavors (buldak spicy carbonara, elote, Korean fried chicken, matcha and chocolate)! Im also a huge fan of the warm/caramelized sweet potato and yams they have up front- it's the perfect snack with balanced sweetness! Parking is a breeze in the shared lot (would recommend checking out Fika Fika across Hmart for amazing popcorn chicken and coffee). read more

From the fermented refrigerator goods in the beginning to snacks, seaweed, noodles, rice paper, soy sauce, meat cuts, seafood, oils, vinegars, tofu, and everything else in between. This place is a FOOD LOVERS HAVEN. Can't forget the warm roasted sweet potato's in the front. Always gotta get a bag on the way out. So good! I never waste my time with conventional markets when I need quality goods. They got kurobuta pork sliced in different shapes, sizes, portions and cuts! That goes for the beef as well. Everything is perfect, I mean check out the ribeye roll I added below. Tasted amazing! Majority of the time we just wanna eat at home so there's no better one stop shop than H Mart. One thing I can say which needs improvement on is for the first time H Mart shopper something's are difficult to find. So when asking the stockers where something is, majority don't understand what you are saying. Which can be difficult. Then again a seasoned H Marter like me, I can literally walk the isles now freely knowing where what and what where is. If ya know what I mean! Also if you're hungry and don't want to cook, they got separate businesses on the left upon entering in the back where you can just order the most authentic versions of what cuisine you are looking for. You can go to any H MART in different states and find the same setup - which is great.( It's kind of like going to Costco and know what to expect.) They have a variety of prepared food and BANCHAN options, fresh vegetables, frozen food options, sauces, RAMEN/ noodles all reasonably priced! I also love how they carry the same item from different countries - gives you a choice to pick where you want your type of fish sauce, rice, noodle from (Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc.) I can be there for hours going through every aisle. A small pile of organic Fuji apples (Item #94131) was displayed at H Mart in Arcadia this past Saturday, August 8, and I was shocked to see that many of them were clearly unfresh, bruised, and even showing greenish mold. I have noticed this same issue for the past 3-4 weeks, and I kept hoping that H Mart would remove the old, damaged apples and replace them with fresh ones. Unfortunately, that did not happen. What makes this even more disappointing is that this was a Saturday, when you would expect a large number of customers to be shopping. Yet H Mart was still displaying and selling apples in such poor condition for $1.99 each, which is an unacceptable price for fruit that is visibly spoiled. H Mart has become one of the largest and most successful Korean supermarkets because of the loyalty and support of its customers. That is exactly why it is so disappointing to see customers treated this way. Customers deserve fresh, safe, and high-quality produce -- not fruits that have been sitting there for weeks and are visibly deteriorating. Come on, H Mart. Please show some respect for your loyal customers and take better care of the quality of your produce. Making a profit should never come at the expense of customer trust and food quality. That or just roam around the aisles to get inspiration or grab a cart of snacks you've never tried before because I'll bet there's at least 2 dozen things you've never tried before! Their produce, meats and seafood are fresh and there is an abundance of things to choose from. Also, this place gets busy on a Sunday! I guess I haven't frequented h mart earlier in the day in a while, it was nice to see more options available by the entrance of the store. Located in a shopping strip mall off of busy Huntington Drive... it has a pretty good sized parking lot and lots of shopping carts. We were greeted as soon as we walked in... that's a nice touch. There are mini-stores/restaurants (Tours Le Jours - one of my favorite bakeries, bbq chicken, a couple of noodles/ramen places - the bowls of soup were HUGE!) on the left side of the grocery store. I got some pastries and bread from Tours Le Jours; nothing from the restaurants but the tables were pretty full. The grocery was well stocked with Japanese/Korean/Chinese food (fresh, frozen, snacks, drinks, fruits, veggies, rice, soups, sauces, etc). I even found my favorite Japanese apple juice at a hefty $5.99 for 50 ozs - OUCH! But I got it anyway LOL. My daughter pointed out LIVE DUNGENESS CRABS for $12.99/lb. That's a pretty good deal. This is a nice, clean Asian grocery store. Kinda expensive but good quality products usually are. read more

I am obsessed with H Mart and was excited to check out the Arcadia location since I'm always at the Chino Hills location. Parking is decent, I parked on the side of the building because it was less busy. Looks like they are still upgrading, so don't go for the carts on the right of the building and make sure to use the red carts. The day I went it was packed! Immediately walked in to smell all the good prepared food options and really liked that about this location. It was a bit bigger and had lots more options, but also was just really busy. They also have a couple restaurants inside which was nice. One of my favorite things about H Mart are the amazing samples they always have. I was able to try some soup base, ramen, dumplings, poke and bulgogi. I was sold on the ramen because it was so good. I do wish some of the items in store were organized like their other location, it was a little tricky to navigate, but also because this location is a lot more popular. They have everything you need here for Hot Pot, Korean BBQ, some meals to go, frozen options of their dumplings. Like many many options. I've already made hot pot at home and love how simple it is with the veggie kits they offer. Definitely recommend for others to check out this H Mart! read more

The store's one of the most interesting stores to visit. It has massage handles on the carts ! Which is a good experience when your wrist and hands aren't feeling their best.. it's calming in a way and great after a long day and easy on tired joints . Accompanied my mother to help restock for her supply basics and its produce central it's unique well maintained and the choices are fresh ... service is very good they still have grocery baggers ! If you want to take a dive into a k- pop friendly grocery shopping experience this is the place to do just that ... the ambiance is mega surreal with a food court inside the market and the viral fruit shaped ice creams are on sale this week to celebrate their anniversary with 4 for 9.99 that's something fun to share on the 90 degree plus days! read more

(+): Fresh produce Food court is the store Lots of variety (this is easily a one stop shop!) they also sell some unique items like what-- for their anniversary sale, they even sold Tokyo Banana bread which is a favorite gift to bring home from Japan. Sushi is available, too! Lots of parking albeit the lot is not that well lit (-) Prices can be expensive but there are some specials I don't like their archaic membership card system which doesn't use phone numbers so I am constantly re-registering. read more

I love H Mart in Arcadia. I'd always come in when I'd babysit my nephew and make a pitstop after the park. We'd come in, explore the fruit section, learn about fruits, and pick up something new for him to try at every visit. Last Thursday, I came in to pick up marinated cucumbers, kimchi Napa lettuce, kimchi radishes (my favorite), thinly sliced marinated chuck roast, short ribs, enoki mushrooms, red lettuce, and brisket for a Korean bbq night. It was such a hit! $92 for at home KBBQ was well spent, affordable for hosting, with plenty of leftovers. The market is clean, well kept, and check out service was fast and efficient. Depending on when you come the Parking might be crowded. Everyone is walking around so be careful driving near the entrance. The entrance is crowded as well, sometimes security is checking receipts so a person with a cart might be blocking you from entering. The packaged food near the entrance is where I go first, sometimes they sell out! For example I went for cubed pickled white radishes and they had no more! Sometimes the shelves are also empty and cleaned out so it's as if they cleared everything to make more the next day. Inside also has a food court which has restaurants that serves lots of different Asian dishes. There's tables and seating areas inside which can be a bit crowded and messy. The fish and meat section has lots of variety which I enjoy looking to think about what to cook. The vegetable and fruit section is also vast and I definitely enjoy their sales. I think my biggest disappointment is when I forget my Hmart card, they won't accept phone number and the service counter has customers or no one is there so i don't know if I can ask for a temporary card or just make a new one on the spot. I could come back with my receipt for points but the main reason I need it for the members only sale. They also have sweet potato baked in a hot container before you exit, which you purchase from the register first before grabbing it. Prices run a bit higher, but I love stopping by for their prepared foods and sushi/sashimi. I usually grab the seasoned bean sprouts and spinach for my daily dose of vegetable, and the stir-fried glass noodles are another go-to when I want something cooked. For value, the sashimi chirashi box is the way to go- fresh, generous portions. The salmon belly sashimi is also a must-try if you like a fattier cut, and the mixed inari + sashimi box is another solid choice, especially since it comes with a California roll on the side. I absolutely love H Mart in Arcadia, CA! My mom had never visited an H Mart. When she went with me, we spent nearly an hour exploring every aisle. She really liked the broad selection of everyhting and wished she had brought cooler bag so she could have taken some fresh fish home with her to Highland Park (HP). The store offers an amazing selection of gorgeous fruits and vegetables, plus a great variety of ready-made and frozen Asian foods. The ramen aisle alone is spectacular! The environment is spotless, and the Asian food products are reasonably priced. I particularly enjoy their prepared foods, and the seafood selection is incredible, with fresh sushi-grade fish. Security guard attempted to accuse me and obstruct me from leaving the store saying I was stealing. I had a item that I paid for which the cashier put a paint sticker on. The parking lot is full of entitled, rude people that well steal your parking spot or drive forward, dangerously without looking when coming from the opposite parking spot, but what obsessing the most is that I need to be stopped to verify that I paid for my item that has a paid sticker and it was seen most likely on camera that I paid for the items read more

I love H-Mart! I have been to many H-Mart to include the couple in K-Town and Centerville, Virginia. But this one is my favorite one by far. The one in Virginia had overwhelming seafood stench but this one is very spacious and even the seafood section doesn't smell bad. I love the green onion pancakes and dumplings they have and people are very helpful. There are plenty of parkings and I no longer have to make dreadful drive to K-town. Two thumbs up. read more

I used to think all Asian supermarkets were created equal. I retract that statement with a full apology because H Mart is on another level. The amount of variety of premade food is ridiculous and their barbecue selection with all the marinades I was drooling. I love a good H-Mart! On weekends, they have samples so it can get pretty packed! Parking can get challenging even though there's an empty lot right next to it but I think because it shares itself with Fika Fika and a number of other businesses. Also for some reason, I see a shady fellow always circling around the parking lot. The last time I came here, he stopped me and asked randomly if I wanted to fix the bumper on my car. So I'd be weary of him but every time I come, I just see the same guy circling around, looking at people's cars. Just a weird way to promote his business. But anyways H-Mart itself is great!
