12/4/25 Let's check this other GW Market
    Jennifer W.

12/4/25 I must admit, as soon as I entered this grocery store, I can say I like it better than the one a couple miles away (the one on Valley). It feels more open, spacious & better organized at this location. The staff appear attentive. The produce look pretty good, too. I have go shopping here to make my final assessment but the way it's looking, I would go here instead of the other one.

GW Supermarket is a large Asian grocery market located in a large plaza with plenty of restaurant and Super A Foods (another grocery store). There's plenty of parking. To the right of the entrance is this huge screen that displays the weekly deals. Walking further in, I'm greeted with the fresh produce and fruits section. Each section was well stocked, clean, and organized. The variety is also immense. For example, there were three different types of cucumbers. Price wise, it's not the cheapest. However, I did find some hidden gems. For instance, I bought a huge bags of baby dill for $2.99 per lb, whereas most places only sell a small amount for the same price. Overall, I think this is a great grocery store for locales to visit.

GW super market chain is definitely raising the bar for an Asian supermarket chain. Super clean and super fresh and well organized. Friendly cashiers & butchers. Fresh seafood and also large selection of meat and produce plus all other Asian market goods.

Wow so much variety so much selection you can find almost anything here the aisles are big the space is large and everything is very well stocked

Am a fan of Great Wall Supermarkets! This GW supermarket in Temple City is a wonderful location. Plenty of parking and huge store. The interior of the whole grocery store has spacious aisles and everything is nicely displayed which makes grocery shopping here relaxed. In addition, it doesn't seem crowded. Here the Checkout stands were fully staffed and efficient which made leaving the market a breeze.

This GW Supermarket is fairly new and it's CLEAN, doesn't smell nasty and the fruits and veggies are fresh (for now, lol) They tend to deteriorate because Asian markets are known to not keep their place sanitize and clean like American markets. The important thing is their prices are pretty good when they are on sale. The veggies and fruits are fresh here and prices are lower than other markets in the SGV. The meat and fish prices are standard and may be on the higher side if there are no promotions. Example: the same kind of fish is $2.99 at Global and here is $5.49. This location GW maybe our favorite one to go to for now. Hope they keep up the good work!

I've been here several times and think it's about time I drop a review. The location is convenient, the parking lot is big, as it's shared with other businesses of a large plaza, and the interior is sizable for an Asian market. For what we get, the selections are plentiful. Doesn't matter what I go there to get, I always leave with some sort of snacks and junk food. On weekends, you may see a couple of sample stations. The cashiers are pleasant, haven't come across any rude ones like some other Asian markets. It's brightly lit and aisles and aisles of imported snacks. I'm only gripe is the music they play. It can be downright annoying. Usually I'm able to block out background music but some of the tunes here just invade your brain and make it hurt, but I'll be back again.

Very impressed by this relatively new Asian supermarket! Clean and spacious with huge selections of countless Asian items; and as its name suggests, more Chinese varieties than anything else. Love their produce section - lots of leafy greens! Meats section is clean and nicely organized too. In comparison, I'd say it's at par with 99 Ranch and seems a bit nicer than 168 and Good Fortune. Price level is pretty good too. Now, most of the cashiers in Asian markets are super fast - hey, what do you expect from cultures that invented abacus and Kumon Math+, right? I was a bit disappointed at their check out speed... but other than that this market is great!

Parking is my only complaint on a Sunday. Some rows only had one parking spot but at times two vehicles on either side can be gunning for that one and not notice someone else on the other side. I was actually impressed by the cleanliness of the store and fresh produce available. This store is large and host a variety of food and beverage. Many items come imported from Asian countries.

Very very huge and spacious. Neat and tidy and clean. Lots of variety of food items, fish balls , fruits and vegetables. Lots of cookware. Fish frying service looks like there are attendants readily available. There is dried food herbs shop (same owner as the one inside San Gabriel supermarket). Also one clothes shop. Located corner of Las tunas and Rosemead Blvd

There's a large selection of various Asian produce in here. A lot from mainland China, but some from other countries as well. The place is well lit, tidy, and even the seafood section was so clean I didn't even sense a fishy odor anywhere. There's also a jerky store inside which sells jerky meats and also dried fruits.

Came here 7/06. Very good price and has way more variety of fruits and vegetables section compared to other Asian grocery stores. Not sure if this is just a grand opening deal special. But the prices are unbeatable. Hope the low prices are here to stay.

On Saturday, my family and I went to get some Meet Fresh drinks and desserts. We noticed another GW Supermarket opened on the way home. We went to look everything over and made a few purchases. Reusable bags are provided by the supermarket, and the prices are reasonable. I purchased the green onion snack, which was delicious and reasonably priced. Visit the store and pick up the reusable bag while it's still in stock.

This is a small Market that has a little bit of everything that you're looking for from Southeast Asia. It's like a 7-Eleven, Filipino style. It's fun to look at the various items available here. You will always end up with more than just what you were looking for. I enjoy the cracker nuts, dried mangoes, and specialty dried items. Their selection of items is always changing so I like to look at what's new and on display. I will sometimes ask the front counter what just came in. The Fresh Deli, located up a small incline to the left as you enter the market, is spectacular. The flavor of the food permeates the entrance to the market. They have an incredible selection of fresh made food. It is difficult to make a decision between the different items. I asked for some help from the gentleman behind the counter. I've dealt with Christian, Gabriel and Abraham and all three are knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to explain how some of the food was prepared and the special attention that was given to each individual item. I wanted to limit myself to two items. I decided on the special marinated Beef Caldereta and the Lechon Kawali. On another trip I decided to try the Pork Tochino and the Barbecue Chicken Skewers. I can't tell you how happy I am with the flavors of the food from the deli. Everything was done to perfection. The Chicken skewers were tender and moist with a great barbecue flavor. The Toccino had a nice marinade flavor and was not too sweet. The Lechon was tender and had enough fat to give it a great flavor and texture. I have to admit the Caldereta was my favorite. Great taste, texture, and just the right spices to give it a little kick. The rice and noodles were a perfect accompaniment. All the sauces I was given added to the flavor of all the dishes. At the cash register at the front counter I paid for my items and asked about other items coming in in the near future. I found out that they are not always sure what's going to become available but always looking for something that will make their customers happy. This is truly a family establishment. I found out that everybody there is related. They definitely give exceptional service and quality merchandise, and delicious food. I look forward to coming back and trying many other items both in their market area as well as the Deli.
