This store is perfectly located only a short walk from the Gulfstream Casino. I am an ice cream fanatic and have been eating at Haagan-Dazs since the 1980s and always try the Limited Edition flavors that are offered for a short time. To my luck they had the new Peppermint Bark which was white, pink and creamy - loved it. They also offer chocolate brownies and chocolate chip cookies for those few ice cream haters. read more

We had such great service at this Haagen-Dazs that I just had to write about it. The gentleman behind the service counter, he had dreads. I don't remember his name, was very helpful. He joked with the children and let them sample different flavors so they could make a decision on what they actually wanted. He didn't seem that at all, which has a parent I appreciate. The environment is very relaxing. There aren't a lot of seats inside, but there are tables and chairs outside. It's a covered outside dining area. that was fine for us even on that hot day. And they do have one or two tables inside, but like I said most of their seating is outside. They offer non-GMO ice cream flavors, which I absolutely love! They also have vegan flavors, different portion sizes for purchase, cones and bowls. Great experience here. read more

Review from a non local! Found Häagen-Dazs tucked away from the central entrance of Gulfstream Casino and Mall. Our first time ever visiting a Häagen-Dazs and it was a good ol' time. Ordered strawberry sorbet in a waffle cone (vegan!!!), three other scoops of ice cream in cups, and a coffee chip shake. Total came to $38.xx before gratuity. Service was nice and very patient with us as we had our kids with us undecided with their choices. A couple tables for indoor seating. It was full of people so we took our ice cream outside of shop. Shop was clean and had many flavors. Tip: Waffle bowls and cones are not made to order. What is made and cooled down is what is available. They don't make them hot as they melt the ice cream. The only reason I am leaving this review is because of the ending of the conflict. I walked in with my children to get some ice cream for them, we were skipped over a couple of times. (I didn't say anything although now that I think of it, I should have) Then when they finally served us, they charged us for the wrong items (2 employees dealing with this). They refunded the wrong charge and charged me correctly. However they did not provide me with a receipt for the refund. When I approached the register to ask for a receipt, there was absolutely no eye contact and it seemed as though they were just avoiding speaking with me. None of this is that big of a deal to avoid someone. When the girl finally came over I tried to tell her that I know sometimes a return on a credit card only shows up in 7 business days but she didn't even let me finish my sentence- just waved her hands all irritated. I'm sure this will be visible in the camera so if the manager or owner wants to see, please take a look. Great little shop with all the flavors you want. I came here with my coworkers 5 minutes before the end of free cone day and we all recieved amazing timely service. The staff is helpful with recommendations and allows you to sample the flavors without skipping a beat. Good ice cream, nice and cold. Been a bit warm and muggy lately so stopped in for an after lunch treat while browsing shops at Gulfstream. A sweet aroma greets you upon entering the shop. Has the traditional flavors along with a few new ones. You can sample anything you're not too sure of. I opted for something new. The sweet cream coffee caramel W/ a sugar cone. Good combo. A little disappointing that they only had 1 dairy free option. I was super stoked when I found out that häagen-Dazs jumped on the vegan/dairy free train and was instantly disappointing when I went to Gulfstream. Having Ice cream on a nice hot Sunday evening sounds awesome! This shop is in the middle of Gulfstream waterfront, they had live music playing right outside. We fully enjoyed the entertainment. Inside was definitely so much cooler than out there. The flavors is your simple choice of vanilla,cookies & cream, coffee, etc. very much enjoyable and smooth. The price is a bit above average but well worth it. I ordered the javachip and it was smooth & rich. The small size had 2 scoops which was pretty decent, especially having dinner across the street at ROK Brgr. I just felt like having that kid in a candy store type of evening with picking,trying out flavors and selecting what I want. Waited patiently behind a woman with her 3 kids which was fine, but then 2 people came in and started talking with the woman behind the counter, and the lady did not even acknowledge us waiting there she was chatting it up with the people that walked in. Jerrica greeted us with a big smile and let my kids and I try at least 4 different flavors each! We ended up hanging there for about 3 hours constantly bothering her for water and ordering more lattes and gelatos that Jerrica so nicely obliged! Great and friendly service. Damn I honestly just can't get enough of that pralines and cream. It's just wonderful there, you can really tell they're committed to making it nice and clean too. I think one of my favorite things is that they make the cones there by hand so it smells like cinnamon everywhere. I would definitely recommend this place to people with kids and families. I always thought that Hagen Dazs was over priced because of what everyone says but I've only been there like 2 times. This time I got the peppermint bark ice cream in a cone and It costed around $6.00 and it came with 2 large scoops of ice cream.The ice cream had regular vanilla, some chocolate chucks and peppermint barks which had a nice crunch to it when eaten. The ice cream barely melted and tasted very good and flavorful . The place was clean and the cashier was nice and quick. read more
