We were in the Hollywood area last month to drop off our dogs before our trip to Chicago. We were…read morehungry and in the mood for a good Southern brunch. I checked my Yelp and up popped this restaurant. I'm glad it did because the food was very good. The vibe was Southern, rustic, casual, and charming. The chefs in the kitchen were friendly and waved to us as we were leaving. I thought that was a nice touch. The place was empty when we got there but filled up by the time we were leaving. Everyone was in a good mood. There was country music playing in the background without being too loud. We were served by Katrina, who was friendly and helpful with their menu. We had the Smoked Brisket Melt, which was delicious and a generous portion of it, like it should be. The fries were crispy and seasoned properly. The coleslaw was fresh and good. Everything there is home-made. For dessert, we shared the Creme Brulee pancakes. You need to try those, yummy! Parking is right out front with wheelchair accessibility. We plan to return for their breakfasts next time.

It is a smaller spot but has plenty of parking in the plaza. We ordered the pig pen omelette and the full breakfast waffle. The omelette is stuffed with pulled pork along with ham, sausage, and bacon. It was pretty good and quite filling. Probably the most meaty omelette I've had. The full breakfast waffle was your typical brunch style meal with eggs, bacon, sausage, and a waffle. Overall, it was a good for brunch. If you are in the area, its a good spot to stop by if the wait isn't too long.

We end up stopping by and saw an employee taking a break outside and told my husband where the menu was located. I chose turkey, Mac and cheese, collard greens and a side of potato salad. My husband ordered fried tilapia, yams, and lima beans. All dinners comes with a rice. We had pigeon peas and rice. My husband went in the restaurant to pick up the food. He came back and as I was looking over the food, I didn't see any cornbread. I saw the reviews on YELP, so I asked him to ask can we purchase cornbread or do they have any. The female employee stated she gave us some. No, we didn't have any. My husband came back to check and none was in our bag. She said that she gave us some. First of all, we would not ask for anything that we didn't pay for. If you look at how much we dine out, you would know that we spend money really well, and don't need any handouts. I was really disappointed! But anyway, she gave us what we were supposed to have, which was the cornbread what we NEVER received. My husband said he think that it was the owner that told the employee not to argue with the customer. That was unacceptable, PERIOD! :-( The food score: My food- collard greens-8 potato salad-4 Pigeon peas and rice-4 Turkey-8 Cornbread-10 Husband food- Fried tilapia-7 Pigeon peas and rice-6 Yams-6 Lima beans-5 Cornbread-10 *needed more seasoning on fish, and Lima beans. If we're in the area, we may order again. Hopefully we won't have an issue about the cornbread, again. :-/

However, if oxtail is on the menu, it's a no brainer for me. I got the oxtail with yellow rice, Mac and cheese and collard greens. My husband got the fried catfish with collard greens and sweet yams. My son ordered shrimp and grits which is his go to. You know the food is good when your head starts bobbing after the first bite like, "oh yeaaah!" We got a taste of each other's food and agreed everything was amazing! Our plates came with cornbread as well and portions are so generous. The gentleman and lady who took our order were super nice. My husband got 2 slices of lemon cake to go and said they were good. We will definitely be back next time we're in tbe area.

Super disappointed with this place…read more Pros: The potatoes and eggs were good & the hot sauce has great flavor! Cons: First thing I did was use the restroom which had a horrible smell and the toilet needed cleaning. The service was good at first then fell off after we ordered our food- which was strange because it was not busy at all. We ordered the screwdriver & peach Bellini to drink. Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. We finished our food and no one ever came to our table again- while the workers were walking around helping the 5 other tables or talking amongst themselves. After sitting for 15+ minutes with our finished food, I just went to the front and waited for someone to check us out. I don't recommend this place and will not be back.

The interior and decor is very clean and captivating. Creating the perfect environment to enjoy a nice meal or drink. The cocktail menu was very impressive! While I didn't have a drink, seeing their cocktail menu was enough to know I had to come back for drinks. Started off with a single shot of espresso and a Cortado. The coffee was good and the custom glass wear it was served in made for an elevated coffee experience. After browsing the menu, the Shakshuka called my name! The perfect bowl of tomato sauce with peppers and onions. The spices were fragrant and created a very balanced dish and of course the eggs were perfectly cooked and runny when you break into them. After a savory breakfast the sweet tooth kicked in. Our server suggested the cheesecake that came with a table side pour of chocolate. The only downside to this dessert was I didn't want to share it lol I would literally come back here just for that cheesecake it was that freaking good. Overall Thanks To Harrison's beautiful environment, great tasting coffee, and unique European Fusion Cuisine brings unique flavors to Hollywood that is worth traveling for. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.

Whether you're arriving by car or tying your boat up at the restaurant's dock, Tiki Tiki offers the perfect laid-back waterfront escape for lunch or dinner. There's plenty of comfortable indoor A/C seating or outdoor tables overlooking the water. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The valet, hostess, and servers had us seated quickly, and the staff immediately welcomed my service dog, Renn. Our server, Bibi, set the tone by bringing Renn an ice-cold bowl of fresh water before taking our order. Her genuine love for animals, warm personality, and constant attention to every detail made the experience even more memorable. The tropical cocktails were refreshing, and the food arrived surprisingly fast. The classic Grouper Fish & Chips, Blackened Fish Tacos, and Coconut Shrimp were all cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. To top it off, Bibi let us know that Tiki Tiki proudly offers a 10% discount to military members and first responders--a gesture that's always appreciated. With outstanding service, delicious food, a relaxed waterfront atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, Tiki Tiki is one of those hidden gems you'll be glad you discovered. We'll definitely be back.

It was very busy and there was a wait for orders and food delivery. We tried a variety of dishes. The oysters were fine perhaps a little too much panko topping. It was hard to find the oyster. The grouper was very good. Their sweet potato fried 5 stars. I had the Birdie cocktail and it was a bit bitter and lacked the sweetness that I was expecting. Solid alcohol content, though, lol. We did have to send two dishes back to the kitchen on our two visits. Perhaps it was an off day. The matzah ball chicken soup was very good. The salmon was also very good.
