    Tofu Pad Thai.
    Naomi L.

I was glad to hear about this Thai and Sushi restaurant on the Westside in Waimea. My first time here. We entered and was greeted. Very welcoming personnel. Ordered at counter and paid. They have a large menu to choose from. Ordered the tofu Pad Thai and Shrimp Pad Thai. My shrimp Pad Thai was to sweet. Noodles were cooked well but very sticky. Presentation was nice. Ordered the Thai iced tea. To sweet. Had to add water to dilute it. They cook your meal in their food truck in back. Then bring your dish to the table. Two Pad Thai, a Thai iced tea, and a bottled water was over fifty bucks, including tip and additional expense that they charge. Restroom in back. No paper towels. Not sure if I'll be back.

After a long day of driving and hiking in Waimea Canyon, we were happy to see a well-reviewed option right as you get back into Waimea. This restaurant is quite small (maybe 8 tables), but nicely decorated in an unpretentious way. The gentleman taking orders as the cash register was very helpful and efficient and the food all came out relatively quickly. The food was all fresh and the portions were very generous - plus, it was all delicious! We started with the spring rolls, which were delightfully crispy and the filling inside wasn't soggy like some places. My mom got the yellow curry (added chicken) and said it was one of the best yellow curries she has ever had! It was very creamy, perfectly spicy without being overbearing, and the chicken was good. My sister and I split the Moana roll and the spicy ahí poke bowl, both of which were lovely! The fish was fresh, the sauces were flavorful, the rice was fluffy, and the veggies on the bowl were a welcome element of crunch. We also got the Thai tea, which was definitely sweeter than normal, but still quite tasty. The only item that didn't totally impress were the drunken noodles - my dad said they were fine, but could have been a little more flavorful/spicy. But otherwise, everything was very good and I would definitely eat it again!

We came to try their food for dinner tonight for the first time. We ordered chicken Katsu curry, Waimea crunchy sushi roll and Hawaii sushi roll. The curry was very flavorful and has the authentic taste of Thai food. The sushi rolls are delicious. Love their food and will definitely come back for more.

Cute little lowkey spot that just opened up 3 weeks ago. Nat was super attentive, hospitable, and friendly. We ordered the spring rolls (comes with 4), chicken pad Thai, and iced Thai tea and it was all absolutely delicious. You can tell it was made with love. We will definitely be back if we ever visit the area again!

Receipt with the time of order and the time I'm still in the restaurant waiting

Looks like good food but the cashier is also the food prep and cook. I order at 1129am and at the moment I'm writing this it's 1200 and they haven't finished my four items of order. The cashier told me to wait 15 mins it's been 30 mins and hasn't even finished. My lunch break literally just finished and I have to clock back in already. This is not good. Also, I'm the only one in the restraint.

I got the pork bento which came with miso soup and an iced tea and it was $32 with tax and tip. Kind of on the expensive side for lunch but it was a lot of food and it tasted flavorful and fresh. We were able to order an iced Matcha tea and it was really good, but a little light in flavor. Lol. I was really excited to try their Ube smoothie, but it was pre-mixed with cow, milk, and since I'm lactose intolerant, I wouldn't be able to have it comfortably. Lol. The lady that helped us was incredibly friendly, sweet and nice, and she knew everything about the food and drinks. She was very apologetic about the cow milk and the smoothie being premixed. Hee. They also had a little Ready To Go take out counter area with some delicious looking items. I took a picture of that as I took a picture of the drink. I will have to go back for lunch and write update my review. Hee

I am so happy that my husband & I got to experience this restaurant while in Hawai'i. For starters, we ordered their special lobster salad (with lobster, mango, avocado, and pickled hearts of palm) and their mushroom side dish. Both were absolutely packed with flavor, and the lobster salad especially included very new flavors for us both. The mushrooms were out of this WORLD! For entrees, we ordered the spicy lobster ravioli and their mushroom side curried macadamia nut fish (swordfish). Each bite was a little taste of fishy heaven for both dishes. We are so happy with our visit here, and cannot wait for the opportunity to come back and try more amazing, home-grown food. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

It was served with purple potato chips. It was a great combination of sweet, salty, and spicy tastes. We also got the appetizer size of the lobster ravioli. I loved this dish. It also had a bit of chili oil and creaminess in the sauce. Main dishes were great! I loved that they offered a choose two option. I so often struggle with which dish I absolutely want. Merriman's makes it easy. You get glad dishes of two options. My family loved and took full advantage of this option. My daughter got the island beef and the lamb chops. She preferred the lamb chops to the beef. My husband got the island beef and the catch of the day. I got the fish special that came with a spanakopita. It was delicious! I loved the flavors.
