So delicious every time! We get takeout from here.....so to eat inside is even better!!

Great tasting food, attentive service, and restaurant is casual. We were a party of six and had a variety of dishes.

    Drunken noodle

We had this twice during the trip and it was very solid! Would definitely recommend. The first time I got pad see ew and my husband got the drunken noodles. We both enjoyed but mine was def better. Very tasty! The second time we got poke bowls. I got the salmon and he got the tuna. Weren't the best we had on the trip but still tasty. Would def like to try the sushi too.

    Cashew chicken & Ono curry

I am usually pretty skeptical of a Thai and sushi combination restaurant. It's hard to do both well. It usually ends up being very mediocre. That wasn't the case here. The crunch roll was great, I would get it all the time. They put some unagi sauce and crunchy bits on top of a spicy tuna roll. Usually it's with shrimp. This is better and the tuna was super fresh. Rainbow roll was decent, but not as good as the spicy tuna roll. The krab mix was kinda bland. The Salmon & yellowtail were mild but not as fresh as the tuna. The Ono curry was really good, it was flavorful, creamy & spicy. The fish was fresh, portion was generous and it was our favorite Thai dish for the evening. The pad thai was good, we got the shrimp and it didn't have that many. That's not super surprising. The cashew chicken was the weakest link for the Thai dishes, it was a little one note. Was a little oily and not as flavorful as the other Thai dishes we ordered. Prices were affordable, especially for Kauia standards. Service was very good, they were attentive and friendly. I would go back and order the crunch roll & Ono curry & try new things.

We came in right before the airport. We were just a table of two and they were luckily able to seat us right away but for larger parties, I recommend making a reservation. We ordered a few rolls and sashimi. It was really good. The fact that they serve both sushi and Thai made it a crowd pleaser! Green curry was delicious. It felt sweet, but it had a hint of spice that will catch up with you later. I want to remake this green curry recipe! Highly recommend this curry. Staff and service was nice and attentive. I will be back!

Honestly no idea how this place has good reviews. The service from the lady in the front was lovely though which is saving this review. She was prompt, sweet and swift! Maybe we ordered the wrong things but I always worry when you order and the food comes out the same minute the waitress walks away. Firstly the edamame -000001/10 Do not spend the extra $1 on spicy just don't do it. You're paying $1 for some chilli flakes to be thrown on top. The first bite I had was COLD. Like frozen cold. Then the rest was steaming hot. 101% microwaved tasting edamame with some salt on top. Don't get me wrong it was edible but it was just a waste of $7. The chicken dumpling soup also came out within 2 mins. I was a little scared to eat it since the dumplings felt so hard and it was practically boiling on the table which also felt and tasted microwaved with some precooked bagged chicken. 1/10. Now for $27 you'd expect the crab fried rice to be incredible. It tasted like the cheap crab fried rice you get from a 1 star Thai place for half the price. Absolutely insane. 1/10. Soz for the bad picture I forgot to take a photo until the end. Spicy miso soup was also AVERAGE. This place is the definition of MID. It's all edible, overpriced and just not worth ever going back. I wish the service was bad purely because I feel bad writing this review. But the service was really good everything else was just bad.

    Chicken pad see ew

Tried Big Monster first after arriving Kauai. The food was delicious and service wonderful. My favorite was the Samurai roll. The pad see ew was so flavorful and the noodles so chewy. The fish was fresh on the poke. Our server was attentive and super nice. We enjoyed the ambiance at the corner table.

    Bamee Moo Baeng
    Heying D.

Service is very friendly and welcoming. The food is however not good. The vegetable stir fry were stir fried frozen vegetables with a lot of onions and garlic and not much flavor. The specialty, Bamee Moo Daeng was hardly edible. The sauce was very off-flavored, everything else, from noodles to dumplings, was bland. But the sauce overpowered everything. Not good at all!

Who would have thought there would be great Sushi, Pad Thai and Poke Bowl restaurant right down the street from where are staying. Great service and delicious food. We tried the salmon and poke bowl, the I'm hungry roll and the samurai roll. For drinks, we tried their lemon aide. Everything was great!

Incredibly delicious and amazing service! We had the Tuna Carpaccio, Monster Poke, Tom Kha, and Tom Yum -- everything was absolutely outstanding. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the quality was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Honest reviews for honest taste buds- I had pad thai and some pineapple fried rice. It was great, no issues with the food. The only complaint I have is when we ordered mango sticky rice, and we were told that they were out of mangos. pros- good food fast service clean cons- no mangos 8/10

It was noisy, so I knew we would want to get outta there as soon as we finished eating. Food was good, however nothing special about it. The interior is cozy, and our group felt big for the space, but we did get seated at a table that accommodated all of us. We were also very nicely accommodated in our quick service, as we had a reservation at a nearby attraction that was closing in. I asked the waiter (PJ, I think?) to select 6 nigiri sushi for me, and I also ordered a roll, as did everyone else. Everything was delicious and it's obvious why this place was crowned a Kauai Best last year. The sushi was phenomenal, the service was very welcoming, and the ambiance is ideal. Parking lot in the back was a bit small, but the establishment itself isn't very big. AMBIANCE: As I said, it's a very small place. It can hold maybe about 20-25 people. It's a tight little place with very few tables and a small sushi bar. The dim lights and natural lighting gave it an intimate ambiance. I was seated at the bar and you can watch the chefs assembling my food while being trained at the same time. SERVICE: Our server was phenomenal. I believe his name was PJ. He was quick, attentive, and gave us a good laugh every time he stopped by to check on us. You can see the trainee going through on the job training, but the food still came out in a very timely manner. They were quick and we're happy to answer any questions we had. FOOD: I'm from the Seattle where the fish is extremely fresh and we get some amazing sushi. Also been to Japan a couple times. This was definitely up there for me. Everything was delicious; from the soft shell crab, to the blue fin toro, to the popcorn shrimp. Although I did indulge a little, I believe the chef's choice would be an amazing pick with high value for someone on a budget. Surprisingly, the blue fin toro wasn't my favorite. While it did taste amazing and melted in my mouth, I found the tai snapper to have more dynamic flavor thus marginally beating it out. Also I've never had steak sushi before, but I became a huge fan of the A5 wagyu nigiri and it left me wanting more. Hands down my top 3 picks. OVERALL: I highly recommend trying this place out. I loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Its definitely a must visit for me if I were to come back to Kaua'i.
