(Sunday Morning not many places are open. ) I park my car and begin to walk across the street to the salon at 8:57 AM. My phone rings and it's the salon. When I answer they tell me that the stylist is sick and they can only accommodate me at a later time. A later time COULD have worked if they had given me more than a 3 MINUTE NOTICE that my appt wasn't happening. Again I understand sick happens but if this person was already on their way to the Dr you knew more than 3 mins ahead of time. Ultimately you cannot trust this place if you're making an appt for an occasion.

The appointment was at 11, she was only able to take me at 11:30. She double booked her appointments. I asked for Hollywood waves. As Anna was teasing my hair she kept ripping it off ignoring my screams and begging to be careful. 3 days later after the hair style my hair still continues to break and to fall off from pulling. The waves only held for one hour so by the time I got to the wedding my hair was completely straight ($120 down the drain) . In addition, she was sneezing and sniffling right over my head. I haven't tried any other stylists at Opia (and I definitely won't come back to try) but stay from Anna at all costs. She is sadist!

As I was entering the parking lot for my ON-TIME appointment, a young woman, Olivia from Rosa Blu called me, stating that the prior customer just arrived and asked that I push back my ON-TIME appointment by 45 minutes. It appears the manager made the young woman do her dirty work. Instead of telling the LATE customer that they had to wait, they made me push my appointment back. I wound up booking an appointment two days later and when I walked in, the manager, while rolling her eyes, in a non convincing manner says, "OH, sorry about the other day" NO REMORSE WHATSOEVER. Didn't even offer to perhaps give me a discount for the haircut. It's just shrug the shoulders and too bad Joe. This type of behavior is what turns customers away. It's not the first time this has happened. The bottom line.... they catered to the more expensive LATE client instead of the ON-TIME standard Men's haircut. The manager needs to take a Customer Service course and also not have her young staff members do her dirty work. A 2 grade is extremely generous. Will I go back..... I truly don't think so, with all do respect to the woman who cuts my hair.

A client's time is just as valuable as the stylist's.
